Legit deposit scheme. Great communication
Great communication, dedication, understanding, and totally legitimate 100% insurance backed deposit.
My father approached titan hoping to improve his solar system. A deposit for works was taken but when it turned out not to be the right thing for us the deposit, as promised, was retuned in full.
Everyone I spoke to at titan was well trained on the phone, took time to listen and truly seemed to care for their customers.

Very professional, friendly company
Very professional company with friendly staff. Nothing to much trouble and consult at every stage. No hard sell just an on line zoom meeting, then if you wish a surveyor will come and talk through options. If not they will not bother you like others do. Brilliant system covering all of our electricity and making money as well. However after a few days the "App" from the makers showed faults. I thought about looking on the web but when I did I saw an email from Titan telling me not to worry as it was the outside company who had a temporary problem and within an hour the app was back on. No problem was still making us electricity Could not fault this company

Well informed and helpful people from enquiry to installation.
From first contact to installation we felt we were well treated by experienced and helpful people. The way that the initial quote was put together with us through an online discussion was really helpful and helped us to understand the benefits. The surveyor helped refine what was best, installation went well and we have been helped by other staff at Titan. So far so good after a week!

Our solar journey
On our solar journey: The decision to go Solar was a simple one, savings are worth very little, so it made sense to invest in something that had a real return.
I got around 4 quotes and having tested the market we went with Titan. From the initial meeting with Chris, to the survey, everything was quick and professional. On agreeing the installation everything went perfectly. The scaffold company chaps were great, they turned up on a Wednesday, installation team were great friendly chaps that were a pleasure to have around, completed by 2pm on Thursday and then scaffolding removed on the Friday.
All in, a super friendly, professional and painless process.
If you are taking the plunge into Solar I would recommend you speak to these people.

From the first contact with Titan…
From the first contact with Titan Energy, then on to the survey, and installation of the Solar System, was carried out professionally. The install technicians carried out the install without any disruption. The area was left clean and tidy after installation and all debris removed.

Good quality of work and products used, would recommend to anyone looking at getting a solar and/or battery installation.
After some initial minor issues with surveys etc, Dale the owner stepped in and got things back on track in quick succession.
The installation went well and the team doing the work were all polite and courteous and did a grand job.
Just waiting on final documents to come through and assistance from the after sales team to get set onto the best tariff/supplier.
Big thumbs up. Happy to recommend to anyone looking at getting a solar and/or battery installation.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and completely understand how frustrating it must have been to take time off work expecting the survey to go ahead.
On rare occasions, our survey schedule can be affected by factors outside of our control such as earlier appointments overrunning, travel delays, or last-minute changes on site. While this doesn’t excuse the lack of communication you experienced, it may explain why the visit unfortunately did not take place as planned.
We always aim to keep customers informed if there are any changes, so we will be reviewing what happened in this case to ensure our communication remains at the standard we expect.

A five star experience from start to finish
Definitely five stars since there was no part of the whole journey that wasn't perfect.
Really nice people to deal with from sales, through installation to aftercare.
Matt spent a lot of time explaining how the system would work, never appearing to get exasperated when we had to ask him to go back and start again.
Lucy, Dylan and Leighton were outstanding in organising the installation. Phone enquiries were dealt with efficiently and waiting time to speak to someone was never more than a couple of minutes.
Brad and Oliver, installers, were the icing on the cake. They arrived when they'd said they would, executed a fast and impeccably neat installation and their technical knowledge was awesome. Importantly, they were the company's own installers, having driven hundreds of miles to do the job, not just any old local pop-up.

Genuine 5* service from design to installation & set up…
Genuine 5* service from initial sales and design experience with Matt to installation and set up from Richard and Graham - then Dylan setting timers this morning.
SALES AND DESIGN…
Matt was exceptional. His honest approach stood out - important when so many charlatans out there. He was so knowledgeable, helpful, patient and fair throughout the process - I never felt pressurised at any stage.
He suggested battery only installation as “best fit” from the start - I had long chats with other suppliers including leading utility companies - Octopus were super helpful as well - but, Matt was just “ahead of the game” in design and knowledge.
NB All these other companies came to the same conclusion on what suited us having not been so positive in first place !
FROM THE START…I just felt could trust Matt. He didn’t let me down.
INSTALLATION…
Richard and Graham arrived an hour or so late due to traffic - we never thought would get installation completed in a day, before that, but, they competed the whole job in a timely and tidy fashion. Explained what they were doing and how it all worked. Very neat and accurate job, zero fuss and mess. Batteries and inverters all lined up on the wall perfectly. Working as hoped already.
5* for Richard and Graham as well.
SETTING UP…
Dylan set timers remotely to co-incide with utility providers overnight cheaper rates - was so, so, SO easy.
Would highly recommend Titan Energy, honest, decent, knowledgeable, professional and helpful.
First class service.

SCAMMING COMPANY
TITAN ENERGY IS A SCAMMING COMPANY WITH A SCAMMING DIRECTOR. (If you look on company house you’ll get your answers)
Uk solar experts went into administration and then the director simply changed the name to titan energy but claimed to recall the contact list and job list from ‘uk solar experts’.
This company will no doubt go into administration again and nobody will get their deposits back again even though it states on their websites it’s ‘protected’ for 120 days. It is a lie.
The customer service I have received over the past few weeks has been nothing but appalling, arguing with myself over the phone and lying. One day claiming to have my deposit then another day not having it. I feel sorry for the other people that have lost hard earned money to this scam.
They did nothing but mock me and show no sympathy to our situation.
To top it off, when they took my deposit into administration they phoned the day before installation to cancel because ‘you have been massively under quoted’ which was a lie, they just wanted more money to cover the fact they lost my deposit.
Hope this helps people before they waste their money.

Following the administration of UK Solar Experts, Titan Energy began operating as a separate company. Any deposits or payments made to UK Solar Experts prior to the administration were held by that company and form part of the administration process. Unfortunately, those funds are not accessible to Titan Energy, which is why customers are directed to the administrators or their payment provider regarding refunds.
Where customers chose to continue with their installation, Titan Energy offered the option to honour the original quotation where possible. In some cases, however, the original pricing or scope of work provided by the previous company was found to be inaccurate or incomplete, which can require adjustments before an installation can safely proceed.
We categorically deny any suggestion of dishonest behaviour or that customers were mocked by our staff. Our team works hard to assist customers during what has been a very complex situation following the administration of another business.
After reviewing the call recordings relating to your case, we found no evidence of any mocking behaviour. The conversations show our team attempting to explain the situation and work towards the best possible solution given the circumstances.

I emailed three times to ask for our deposit back, and received no return of any of my emails. I had to go through my bank to enable them to regain my money back. Not impressed at all, especially we were told without any doubt we could have our deposit back with no trouble.😈

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and any frustration caused. During the period when UK Solar Experts went into administration there were a large number of enquiries and, unfortunately, some communications may not have been responded to as quickly as expected.
Deposits that were originally paid to UK Solar Experts were handled by that company prior to the administration process, which means Titan Energy does not have direct control over those funds. In many cases customers were advised to recover deposits through their bank or the relevant administration process, which appears to be the route you have successfully taken.

Do not use this company
Do not use this company, I felt railroaded into committing with them (I did cancel the contract) after the previous company (Uk Solar experts) had gone into liquidation! I had cancelled that contract but didn’t get my deposit back due to administration, this company took over and said if I cancel the contract they won’t pay back the deposit but would honour the contract. However the invoice came through and was different to the original contract!!!! I felt I was being scammed so cancelled the contract. Funnily enough the two websites are exactly the same…. Make of it what you may!

We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way about your experience. When UK Solar Experts went into administration, Titan Energy offered customers the option to honour the original agreement so that installations could still go ahead and customers would not lose out on the systems they had already planned. This was intended to provide a solution and continuity during what was understandably a difficult situation for many customers.
With regard to deposits paid to UK Solar Experts, these were handled by the previous company prior to administration and unfortunately are not funds that Titan Energy has control over. Customers in that situation are normally advised to follow the administration or IBG process where applicable.
If there was any confusion regarding the quotation or invoice, this would never be our intention and we would always be happy to review this with you to clarify any differences.
