Hi I gave my review 5 stars because I was talking to Tim that put me in the right direction my warranty Inc was coming to the end and Tim explained everything to me that I needed to know he was very helpful polit it was like talking to a family member he put me at ease sometimes when you are talking to insurance people they can talk to fast and you can't take everything in but not with Tim it was a pleasure to talk to him God bless him thank you very much for today x

The Motoring Organisation warranty is…

The Motoring Organisation warranty is worthless. They dismiss claims by defining every issue as "wear and tear" which is, no surprise, excluded under the policy. This is despite sudden engine failure being included. They always call and never reply in writing. I am currently disputing a claim rejection and will refer to the Motoring Ombudsman if it is not resolved. I suspect they assume most claimants will be too busy to have time to dispute. Save your time and money by avoiding this company.

We’re sorry to read your review and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the position for other readers.

Your claim was not declined on the basis of “wear and tear”. The decision was reached following an independent engineer’s inspection, which identified a number of adverse conditions through diagnostic and health checks rather than evidence of a single sudden mechanical failure. These findings indicate that the issues present had developed over time, with secondary effects occurring as a result.

Warranty cover is intended to respond to sudden and unforeseen failures. Where independent evidence shows deterioration or fault conditions that have existed prior to breakdown, or where damage is consequential, we are required to apply the policy terms as written.

We do not discourage customers from challenging decisions. On the contrary, where a customer remains dissatisfied after receiving a full written complaint response, we actively support escalation to The Motor Ombudsman, who can independently review both the technical evidence and our handling of the claim. This is often the most appropriate next step where there is a difference of opinion.

A formal written complaint response is currently being prepared and will be issued shortly, setting out the findings, the basis of the decision, and your escalation rights in full.

We aim to act fairly, transparently, and consistently for all customers, and decisions are based on independent technical evidence rather than assumption or convenience.

Tim from customer service was very…

Tim from customer service was very friendly and easy to work with. He showed us an offer that turned out to be really good for us and took the time to explain everything clearly. All the conditions were presented in a simple and honest way, and he answered all our questions without any pressure. The whole experience was smooth and pleasant. We really appreciate his help and would definitely recommend Tim.

Flip of a coin and massive help from Rachael

Although I was disappointed that my claim was rejected, the experience was still positive because the company handled the situation honestly and transparently. Rachael took the time to explain that the claim was similar to a previous one that had already been honoured, which I wasn’t aware of. I’m grateful for the clear communication and the genuine help provided throughout. this now has been resolved through Rachael that she related to the situation and I understanding grateful to her and the company at a stage I was disappointed to now flip the coin and so grateful I am still continuing with this cover.
