Be careful using Topcashback Australia's gift card portal. They process their AUD gift cards through an overseas entity called Runa.
Even though you are on a .com.au site buying an Australian voucher, the transaction routes internationally. I was hit with a $5.91 international fee on a $196.89 Amazon purchase, completely wiping out the $3.25 cashback I earned and leaving me out of pocket.
Their checkout has zero warnings about cross-border processing, and their customer service completely refused to respond when I reached out to point this out. Highly deceptive lack of transparency. Stick to platforms that process locally!

Customer Service is Nonexistent
Whilst in a perfect world if order tracks you’ll be easily able to withdraw the funds, however if you’re like me - and have 1 claim (only one I've submitted) their customer service is basically non-existent. I currently have a claim from the 26/09/2025 for a cashback of around $200 and they simply do not care. Sent monthly follow-ups provided all documents and they do nothing to help. There's no contact number, no escalation, nothing. Its now 13/06/2026 with still no update. I would highly recommend reviewing other alternatives for larger cashbacks.

TopCashback covers a large number of companies in the UK and Australia. It's an easy process and generally registers the purchase process, and if it's missed a purchase, the Missed Claims process is also very useful. Get paid to shop, what's not to like??
Didn't receive cashback!!!!!
Purchased duvet from Adairs, did everything per instructions from Topcashback but the cashback ended up getting declined, they would not disclose why or reconsider. As far as I know they are running a scam. I asked repeatedly why it was declined and they only gave vague answers on things to re-check and saying the store has the final decision. Yet they continue to list the store on their site. Do not buy anything expecting to receive any cash back…..

Cashback was declined after months with a generic reason. I did not use any voucher code, extension, or other cashback site. Ticket was closed straight away, leaving no proper chance to appeal. Very poor support and no clear resolution.

0.49% - not quite the promise
$140 spent at Amazon. Cashback earned: $0.69 and you have to wait 11 weeks
I guess it’s better than nothing and I guess the delay makes sense to stop people returning item
69 cents? Really? It almost feels like someone is having a bit of a teenage joke. It’s an oddly specific 0.49% cashback, not even a clean 0.5% 😂
The site is covered in big percentage offers, so seeing an actual return of 69 cents on a $140 spend feels pretty underwhelming.
The referral scheme also sounds better than it is. You can earn $25 for referring someone, but only after they’ve earned $10 in cashback. At this rate, they’d need to spend around $2,040
So yes, technically there is cashback, but in my experience it was tiny, slow to become payable, and nowhere near as impressive as the headlines make it look

I understand that cashback validation may involve the retailer or affiliate network. However, from a customer perspective, I purchased from Temu because of the cashback offer advertised through TopCashback. On that basis, I do not think it is reasonable to say that TopCashback has no control or responsibility over the outcome, particularly where customers are being directed to retailers through your platform and your marketing.
Could you please advise how this can be resolved and what steps I need to take for the claim to be reviewed again? I can provide the invoice showing the full payment amount, with no discount code or partial payment applied. HOWEVER, the ticket was closed immediately after the decline decision (after I had waited around four months for the outcome). This gave me no proper chance to respond or provide supporting documents. I have submitted another ticket but have not received a response.
It also appears that this is not an isolated issue. There are many similar complaints from other customers reporting cashback being declined with the same generic explanation and limited evidence provided. This raises a fair concern that there may be an issue with the tracking or validation process.
Could you please reopen or escalate my claim for review. Let me know how this matter can be resolved. Advise what documentation you need from me. Confirm why the ticket was closed without allowing a response after the decline.
I am happy to provide the invoice and any relevant supporting information. I would like this matter reviewed properly and fairly.
