Topsoil Avis 

I ordered the twin pack of topsoil and after ordering I read the reviews on Trustpilotb and thought (oh what have I done). However the bags arrived on time and contained a fantastic quality topsoil. Thank you Topsoil

My fantastic experience with this company is due to not only their good quality product but the excellent customer communication.
I was kept informed via email and text every step of the way.
The driver who delivered the topsoil and compost called Tom was just the nicest most lovely man from Burnley.
Could not have asked for a better customer service experience from this fabulous company. Thank you.

If I could give them a 0 rating I would. Their soil ruined my lawn. The soil had nothing but weeds

Order top soil twin sack. Easy process. Delivery was on time and delivery drivers were very helpful and professional. Highly recommend

I ordered 6 bags of topsoil, when it arrived the driver couldn’t unload as it was to heavy for the trolley he had, phoned the company, they said drop it at the kerb, we have no kerb, so she told them to leave it across the drive, he only got two bags of, the pallet broke, we had to hand shovel one bag into wheelbarrow to move it, luckily driver helped me so he could move other pallet to the side or we would not be able to get car out, also fire engines couldn’t get in, totally unsafe, zee are both pensioners and my husband is ill, this experience was worse than awful, the phone conversation with the company was appalling, she had absolutely no empathy and would have left us stranded , told me no refund, then said 30.00 of each pallet not delivered, do not touch with a barge pole, awful service

order not delivered on selected date tried to cancel but won’t offer refund.

We received blended topsoil. It was full of small pieces of plastic, glass and other rubbish. I was planning to grow my veggies in it. I wouldn't be surprised if it contained some hazardous substances. Shameful.

I have order Garden Turf - 80 Square meteres on June 26, 2026 10:13 am and set delivery date as on 3rd July 2026 which delivered and sameday it was installed and when i and contractor opened the pallots they were already in dying stage and when i rang customer support they said on call it was cut 24hrs before but after seeing turf its false statement

Shameful on topsoilshop running business like this taking public money

Still now no response from customer service.

Should come here before buying from topsoil.co.uk
Turf 100% dead with a suspected paint job on it!?! No wonder they don’t have Trust Pilot links in their website

They are big liar always said next day next day afternoon and then again next day
Honestly, I’ll not recommend even never ever
On phone call always lying to me tomorrow delivery but tomorrow never come for them
I ordered topsoil jumbo bags which they delivered even not full and grass they delivered also like a dead
Very very bad service and horrible delivery date which can be change any time

Avoid this seller. They appear more interested in taking public money than running a genuine business.
I ordered topsoil, but what was delivered was largely wood-based material with no visible traces of soil. The product was also extremely light and did not match the description provided.
I contacted customer service and requested that they collect the product due to it being misrepresented. After waiting nearly two weeks, no collection was arranged and my emails went unanswered.
As the material was taking up a considerable amount of space on my driveway, I eventually had no choice but to hire someone to remove it and take it to the recycling centre at my own expense.
Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this seller.

Horrendous quality!

Forget the terrible delivery and customer service; you should be more concerned about how the product is littered with plastic and glass.

All different types and sizes, shredded up into tiny pieces.

Every day I go into my garden I find more and more. A refund won't even do because it can't undo the damage it's done to my garden. I'm DISGUSTED by this morally bankrupt company.

Not even sure if the veg I'm growing is safe for human consumption. Waste of time, effort and money. I'm heartbroken.

Avoid using topsoil.co.uk at ALL COSTS.

Only looked at Trust Pilot after I had ordered from the Topsoil website, then started panicking about the product and if it would be delivered. But I came back on to say everything was perfect.

Ordered on Tuesday for Friday delivery, turned up within the hourly slot that I was told by their customer services team. Delivery driver was very helpful, left the bags exactly where I wanted the. The bags were well packed with good quality compost and top soil.
Absolutely perfect transaction, would definitely use again.

Currently on to the fraud team at the bank. I placed an order. Wanted to change it. Rang 5 times. BTW the call centre is in South Africa. Emailed them. The soil should be delivered tomorrow, yet BOTH of my orders are not showing on their system after 4 days! Avoid like the plague

Terrible experience and won’t be back, ordered a simple phone order of 2 bulk bags of topsoil, easy enough eh?? Nope booked the delivery in, waited all day…. Nothing!!! Contacted customer services, unavailable, finally get through on the chat, no your delivery is scheduled for tomorrow!!!! Eh?? No was today and sent proof, no apology just a statement from the terms and conditions saying it could be delayed and nothing can be done, well yes you can contact the customer to let them know seeing as they are waiting in all day for something that’s not showing up, because of I’m not there it will be a failed delivery and have to pay £30 for re-delivery. Next day a text comes through eta from palletline 2 hrs before I got my text?? Again eh wtf, so eventually it shows up by Mr Magoo spends 10 minutes rearranging his load while mine is sitting there, ok I’ll play eventually comes off h the truck now after saying he will struggle to get it over the dropped kerb I said at least 6 times can you not reverse the truck into the massive gap between the houses and dump it there, nothing too busy gassing on the phone, eventually after 2/3 tries decides to leave it on the road and after saying what am I supposed to do with that I get a response it’s a kerbside delivery, no pal that’s on the road, why not reverse the truck into the big wide gap?? Again nothing. So now I have 2 bulk bags of topsoil on the road which I don’t have time to move or empty, so thanks for nothing and here’s to another bad review, clearly no care is given to the customers, just want your money. I would avoid absolute cranks.

I ordered two bulk bags of top soil from them as they had a good deal on. It was only in hindsight did I think to check the reviews here. I'll be honest, after reading them I was a bit nervous, but the order arrived on the nominated day with no fuss. I had a query prior, so emailed the customer service team, who were prompt with their response. As for the soil itself, there were a few of bits of foreign debris as expected, however nowhere near as much as with other more expensive certified BS3882 soil companies I've used. It looks to be a good quality and I'm very pleased with my order.

Joke of a company. Wish I had read reviews first. Ordered a week in advance, picked a day I knew I was off work, spent hours on the days leading up to it to prep the area, massive 78m2. For the order not to arrive and to be told it could possibly come the next day. All of that work has been for nothing as I’ll not have the time to lay it down and by the time I do I’ll have to re order from a reliable company and re do all of the prep work

Terrible company DO NOT ORDER! I ordered some top soil from here and two weeks later it’s still not here, 6 calls and emails to their “customer support team” and no one can give me an update they just say they’ll escalate it and someone will contact me which they never do. I’ve had to go down the route of trying to get a refund through my bank as they can’t even seem to issue a refund as they have to submit for that too. Avoid avoid avoid

Why didn't I check their trust pilot before ordering. Now I'm stuck with a mess. Employed someone for the day to help me move and lay turf and these clowns have no record of my order. They also have my money and their Cs is a complete waste of time. What a headache to save a few pennies!
