Total Workwear Avis 

Avoid Total workwear. At 16 July i ordered one hi vis t-shirt for work size L. I received one t-shirt what on label is L but the real size is XXXL which is big even for that big actor Bud Spencer. Is like for overweight people. I contacted them via email sending pictures comparing another t-shirts size L with them t-shirt where is visible them t-shirt is HUGE and the answer was ... depend of the each factory. And on them site is a list with the sizes and should to check before order. I have many t-shirts size L ... made it in differents countries and all are the same. For this i ordered L. And now to receive an XXXL saying is L ???!!!!!!!!! What provider they use ?!!! Checking again them site ... i saw i am right. They said to send back for refund. So ... i will lose my 6 £ what i paid for delivery. So ... my conclusion and advice for everybody ... DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Complete scam website. DO NOT USE. Took money, no answer on phone, do not call back. You will lose your money if you go with these clowns

Placed an order on website. It showed the item as being available. Paid via Paypal.
Received an email advising the item is out of stock and promising to refund the Paypal account.
I would have hoped that, because the problem was their fault in allowing me to order an unavailable item, they would have processed the refund straight away ... but not the case.
Am currently still waiting to see the refund appear on my Paypal account.
Their phone line doesn't accept calls and there's no answerphone to leave a message.
So my advice is - go elsewhere.

UPDATE. Paypal account promptly refunded following a further emailed reminder. Shouldn't have needed to send reminders when the problem wasn't of my making.

Placed order and was then emailed next day to be told that 2 of the 3 items I had ordered wouldn't be in stock for 8 weeks!! The question is, why take my money if you don’t have the stock? Very poor service and will be avoiding using this company again in the future.

First time buying from Total Workwear. Emma, who dealt with my order was fantastic. Always communicating via email with updates on the items. The order that I had placed was now discontinued, but they never informed Total WW. Problems resolved & everyone was happy. Yes, I would recommend Total WW

No notification for out of stock items. I had to email to find out why the boots I had ordered hadn't been dispatched - turns out they are out of stock and wouldn't be in stock for 5 weeks. I would have gone somewhere else if I had known.

I ordered 3 pairs of work trousers - 1 of them being for my daughter who is quite small & needed them for college. Prices were very competitive but more importantly, the customer service I received was superb. The junior trousers were temporarily out of stock due to supply issues - I was kindly offered a full or partial refund but I chose to wait. The trousers not only came earlier than planned but were sent separately with no postage fee. Communication was excellent, letting me know every few days what was happening & to be honest, clear communication at a testing time for customers & of course businesses, goes a long way. I would highly recommend this company & if I ever need to order anything like this again, I would not hesitate to use them. Excellent service from start to finish.

Ordered some expensive safety shoes only to find out 2 days later they weren't in stock then took a week to get a refund. The majority of the companies know what stock they have in. Time to update your systems.

Ordered Thursday. Expected delivery the following Wednesday. Goods arrived on Wednesday. Very pleased with the service. Item was exactly what I ordered.

The footwear they sent me is chinese quality and wrong number (Dickies) and after I wrote the review they don’t want to publish it because it obviously reduces their earnings from selling that kind of poor footwear. And after my query when they will publish the review they no longer respond at all. Shamefully, that web shop should be bypassed if you don’t want to waste money and time.

Ordered a variety of workwear for a new job. The site stated if delays were likely due to being out-of-stock they would notify us but we heard nothing. Having chased it they were quick to respond (thankyou) but stated the Dickies items had to be ordered by them from another supplier.

If I'd have known the items were not in stock at the point of order I'd have gone elsewhere. This has caused me real problems, I don't think some online sellers realise the impact this sort of avoidable delay has on customers.

I should have stuck with Toolstation or screwfix, they have smaller range but you can see immediately what is really available.
