Dear Heather, we did try to give you advice of how to take care of the tree in the July heatwave. All trees need a lot more water this summer. Our last message did request you to get in touch again, if that didn't help or you weren't satisfied. We are happy to replace the tree or send a different one. We pride ourselves in our trees, and our customer service as a small family business. I will reach out to you today to organise a replacement. Two trees pretty different in stature
I ordered two Birch Trees which I would have expected to have been picked so they were fairly identical. Unfortunately, they were not, one with small leaves and quite twiggy and the other with larger leaves and more covered. I have emailed customer service with a picture of both trees together but have not heard back.

Hi Tina, thank you for your feedback and for getting in touch with our customer service team. We did reply to your email on the 18th August, but just to reassure you here; both birches are the same age, and although they look different now, once planted they will establish and develop to look alike quickly.
Due to courier restrictions we are limited in the heights we can send which is outlined in our shipping policy on our website, which can sometimes affect the immediate appearance of pairs, but we always ensure healthy, good-quality trees are selected.
We’re very sorry again for your disappointment, and we’re confident the birches will grow on beautifully to become a matching pair. If you have any further questions or would like to speak with us about this further please do not hesitate to contact us - Trees Direct
Need a better courier …
Nice tree but they need to sort their courier out and get tracking in place for customers. I ordered a tree as a gift, which should have been delivered within a set period of time and it went missing and arrived almost a week later than planned.

As we discussed via email, this was an unfortunate courier issue outside of our control, but we did everything we could to make sure a healthy, good-quality tree still arrived with you. While we always try our best to meet preferred delivery dates, our policy does state these are not guaranteed, as rare delays can happen in transit.

To be honest I ordered the trees online, it was a straight forward exercise, the trees arrived when advised, were appropriately packed, healthy and have been planted and seem to have settled.

Lovely trees, delivery late and expensive.
Positive : the trees look lovely and are strong and healthy. The hand written card is a nice touch. So thank you.
Negative : I ordered on 10th August, asking for delivery on 15th as a birthday present. The delivery didn’t come until 18th, so missed the birthday day. I understand that trees are difficult to transport and that delays may occur, but then perhaps the delivery charge should be reduced accordingly. £25 is a lot to pay.

All our stock is held onsite with us and cared for by our small nursery staff team so it really means a lot that you're pleased with the look and health of your trees. With regards to the delivery we understand it is frustrating when items don't arrive on time especially for special occasions which is why we have tried to be as transparent as possible with in our shipping policy which can be found on our website.
We hear what you are saying regarding the delivery charges and we will feed that back, we are always working to seek out the best, and safest ways to deliver trees to our customers unfortunately at this time that has meant a slight increase to out delivery costs.

Ordered online and rang before pressing submit to make sure it would arrive on time. Customer services were brilliant, said they would look out for my order and make sure it was processed quickly and it arrived the next day.
The Myrtle tree that I bought as a present was beautiful and my friend was over the moon.

I ordered a mini Olive tree and was kept informed when it was picked up by the courier company.several days later I contacted trees direct as I was worried it would die in the heat .It turned out to be lost.
Richard asked me to be patient and wait a week as a new delivery from Italy was due.
I was again informed, this time by phone, that this time it was actually in transit to me. It's a lovely, sturdy little tree, bushy and very healthy. I'm so very pleased with it and the company
