Excellent Customer Service, Not As"Switchless" as Advertised

I was travelling from Canada to Mexico through the USA, so the three country North America package was very appealing. Other companies offer only two countries in their regional packages. I also like that the data is good for thirty days, allowing me to test the service in Canada prior to my trip.

I did pause when I read so many reviews about the great customer service (Why did so many people need to interact with customer service?) but the reviews were quite positive.

I successfully tested my SIM in Canada a week before my trip, and on the first leg of my flight, a layover in Canada, my Truely SIM picked up a signal right on the tarmac. The trouble started when I landed in the USA. The "switchless" SIM did not pick up a signal. I followed all of the AI chatbot suggestions without success. I was very quickly connected to a real human, and they were very helpful, but the solution was not simple. Thirty minutes later they had me create an entirely new APN which required a little tech know-how, a few screenshots exchanged, and several strings of characters typed. So much for switchlesss. It required a change in my travel plans that I would have preferred not to have made.

The SIM did switch seamlessly when I crossed the border into Mexico, but not when I returned to Canada.

Customer service was excellent, but the "switchless" part seems highly dependent on the phone/hardware that you are using, so be aware.

Great Service

Slow and frustrating

Such bad internet. I have the unlimited package. 5g goes too quick and once fair usage kicks in you can’t do anything on the internet. Not worth it, use another provider for your own sanity.

Excellent service.

I had a problem activating my esim in Tahiti and was surprised that I got an immediate response to my query. Not only were they quick on responding they also provided a solution within 5 minutes. Highly recommend!

Ho acquistato una E-Sim per gli Emirati Arabi da 1GB, la connessione era stabile, il problema è che il giga non era effettivo.. l’ho finito in circa 24h nonostante usassi il consumo limitato di dati..
Ho dovuto ricaricarla di nuovo con
un altro gb ed in circa 24h ho terminato anche quello usando poco la connessione internet!
