Ordered Dancing Cactus for $9.95 +$4.95 shipping. They charged $14.73 in shipping and it was in US Dollars. Total rip off and scam.

These people are a scam. They automatic enroll you into a vip that will come out of your account every month and you’ll end up paying more when you check out for shipping. And then you can’t reach out to them. Leave these people alone

The insoles were labeled as the size I ordered but they were child sized; tiny; absolutely not made to the correct size. The company didn’t respond to my request to return. Zero stars if I could.

I made a purchase from the website TrySoftr.com for a Koala Plushie advertised at USD $9.95, with an additional $4.50 shipping fee, making the total expected cost $14.45 USD.
However, I was charged $24 USD instead.

Upon further investigation, I found numerous customer reviews reporting identical issues. Unexpected overcharges, hidden fees and even unauthorised subscription charges. When I looked through the TrySoftr.com information pages, they refused to provide a refund or cancellation, citing a clause on their website stating: “We cannot cancel, refund, or return an order once it’s been paid for and assigned an order number.”

This clause effectively denies all refund rights, which is in direct violation of international consumer protection standards.

First of all, misleading pricing practices

The final amount charged ($24) was not displayed or disclosed on the checkout page.
This constitutes false or misleading representation of price, which violates:

Australian Consumer Law (ACL) s18 & s29. misleading conduct and false representation of price,

U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Act, Section 5- unfair or deceptive acts in commerce;

Standard terms that exclude or restrict consumer rights, increase consumer obligations, or limit business liability are invalid.
The “no cancellation or refund under any circumstance” policy is illegal in China, because it unfairly strips away our basic right to return.

Unauthorised Subscriptions

Many customers (as seen in the reviews) were allegedly signed up for recurring or subscription charges without explicit, informed consent.
This breaches:

《消费者权益保护法》 (Xiaofeizhe Quanyi Baohu Fa), FTC Negative Option Rule (16 CFR Part 310), ACCC guidelines; “Unsolicited Sales and Subscriptions.”

And I must also bring up the illegal ‘No Refund / No Cancellation’ Policy

Their posted policy stating that refunds or cancellations are never possible after payment is unlawful because it removes a consumer’s right to remedy, even in cases of error or deception.

Under ACL (s259) and EU Directive Article 14, consumers are entitled to refunds or dispute resolution when goods/services are misrepresented.

Such terms are unfair contract terms under ACL s23–28 and similar global laws.

I respectfully request:

A full refund of the $24 USD charged to my account;

An investigation into TrySoftr.com’s pricing and billing practices;

A review of the cancellation and refund policy for compliance with consumer protection laws;

Reversal of any active subscription or recurring billing that may have been set up without consent.

Additionally, evidence of my claims have been sent in my previous ticket.

This compnay failed to deliver and has refused to refund me. Do not purchase from them!!!!

This so-called “company” is nothing more than a fraudulent operation trading under multiple different names. The name that shows up on your bank statement will likely be completely different from the one you thought you purchased from — a deliberate trick to cover their tracks.

They happily take your money, then when you try to get a refund, the lies begin. They’ll claim a refund was issued, then wash their hands of responsibility if it doesn’t show up in your account. In my case, I had to cancel my bank card to stop them from taking more hidden charges, and when I questioned them, they insisted refunds automatically redirect to the bank account linked to the card. Conveniently, they then backtracked, saying there was an “issue processing” my refund and told me to wait 24–48 hours for an update. Weeks later, I’m still waiting — and now they’ve stopped responding to emails altogether.

This is not just bad service — it’s deliberate theft. They string you along with copy-and-paste excuses until you give up, while keeping your hard-earned money.

⚠️ Trysoftr are professional scammers who prey on innocent people. They trade under fake names, lie about refunds, and make it impossible to hold them accountable. Report them to your bank, your local consumer protection authority, and spread the word so fewer people fall victim.

👉 Do not buy anything from Trysoftr or any of their shady “partner” sites. They are criminals, plain and simple.

Item was to cost $15 and they charged my credit card over $50

Total scam!!!! Avoid like a plague!!!!

So I saw their advert on Instagram for dancing Cactus 🌵. I had to buy it for my little girl. It was advertised for $9.96, delivery was shown to be $4.46. When I checked out, I got debited for over $24 dollars. When I reached out, they said it was for shipping, and they don’t issue refund once you paid. Never ever heard of that in my life. Couple of days later, even before the item arrived, they attempted to debit my card for $40 again. Like how? Thankfully, I already blocked payment to them right after the purchase. The item came in bad as the dancing cactus wasn’t really. Felt bad for my little girl. But please, avoid like a plague. I blame Instagram for promoting this scam. Raising a dispute with them.

Buyer beware! This site changed my shipping price at check out, after it had already displayed the calculated price upon putting in my address. I was shocked at the total price and did not read any further into tye rest of the details. 10 days later they bill me almost $40 for a subscription, for literally nothing, that i had apparently signed up for with the purchase. After disputing through my bank and emailing them to cancel the subscription i unknowingly "signed up" for, they sent me a response saying it was cancelled. A week later they try and take the subscription fee again!! bank blocked it thanfully. Shadey as hell.

When I purchased 2 x stitch breathing toys. The $$ came out as SQUISHYFRI. The amount matched this transaction so I didn't think anything of it.
Next thing I know, I've now just realised, I've had 3 more transactions of different amounts come out of my account. All say SQUISHYFRI on the transactions. I have not purchased anything else. They have stolen my card details and keep taking money out. Unfortunately it did take me a couple months to realise. I stupidly don't pay attention to my bank statement as much as I should.
My bank has cancelled my card for me, to stop this scam.
I will also add, unlike others here, I did actually receive the 2 x stitch toys. They are terrible quality and get hot pretty fast. They can't be used for long times. I'm afraid they would start a fire. They are also extremely loud when breathing. Too loud to sleep with and too loud for anyone with sound sensitivity. Love that it's supposed to be a neurodivergent comfort toy, but definitely not suitable for anyone neurodivergent.

I was scammed by this Company. I ordered for an item for $10 USD only per their Ad for a Turtle design head backpack for babies but was charged for $24.68 plus foreign currency conversion fee but until now no item was delivered.

I was charged again for $49.75 that i thought was a subscription of their products only.

The name of the company in my bank statement was STAYCUDDLY.COM but in the Ad its TRYSOFTR.COM.

SO SCARY! I raised a ticket in their support.trysoftr.com for 3x but no response.

I likewise emailed StayCuddly.com but no response too.

PLS CHECK FIRST THE WEBSITE BEFORE BUYING ONLINE Which i failed to do.

Do not buy from this company. Ordered 3 breathing stitch toys, at check out they offered a 4th for $6.95. They ended up charging me an additional $19.95 for shipping but sent all in one bag. Only 1 out of 4 toys work but they refuse to refund or replace outside of the 7 day policy. Bought these as gifts so gave them after the 7 days so there was no way of knowing they were faulty. Obviously there products are subpar though if 3 out of 4 did not work.

Do not buy from this company. They charge the card multiple times

I got the breathing stitch but they over charged me for the shipping then charged me extra money without my concent then I contacted my card to get a refund and softer tried to charge me a 3rd time but there was no money on my card. LUCKY FOR ME MY CARD RULED IN MY FAVOR AND GAVE ME MY REFUND.

The worst company possible. I ordered a product a month ago, contacted them multiple times getting no response and got charged multiple times without my consent. It is a complete fraud and I would request you to report this company.

Scam, scam, scam! Avoid at all costs. The product I received was poor quality and I’ve been arguing with customer services for weeks now. Taken me 2 months to get a 30% refund. This is not the end

Absolutely a scam! I did actually receive the stitch and it's super cute and works but they charged $25 for it instead of $15 which I was fine with. But then they took another $39.99 from my account without me authorizing it. Thankfully my bank refunded it. They just want your card info to scam people.
