A month of chasing and three different…
A month of chasing and three different prices
I contacted UK Flooring Depot for vinyl flooring to be supplied and fitted. After providing measurements, photographs and selecting the flooring, I was quoted £320 in writing.
Despite repeatedly chasing for a month, I was subsequently quoted £347 and then approximately £550 for the same measured job. The fitting date also changed, and I repeatedly had to resend or explain information already recorded in our WhatsApp conversation.
I relied on their written quotation and tried to coordinate the fitting with other trades, but was ultimately left at the last minute without either flooring or a fitter.
Their final response was that they “understand my predicament,” without acknowledging that their own delays, mixed messages and contradictory prices had created it.
An extremely frustrating and time-consuming experience. I cannot recommend this company.
Update: Following this review, the company contacted me to ask that I remove it. I explained that I would consider any substantive written response or proposed resolution, but none was provided. Their final response was: “No problem, suit yourself. Matter is closed.”

The worst experience I have ever had…
The worst experience I have ever had with a company.
They delivered the wrong colour of flooring twice, and two staff members, including the sales manager; confirmed on the phone the colour was wrong, but one via email said it was correct.
I was assured I would be given compensation as I have lost money due to twice booking in contractors to fit the flooring and paid deposits, which both times had to be cancelled due to the company sending me the exact same wrong colour twice. I also had to take unpaid time off work for the 2nd and 3rd delivery which again was no fault of my own.
The company blamed the courier but can’t take ownership of the fault on their side.
I have been chasing regarding my compensation for a week and been getting ignored / palmed off.
The courier doesn’t give you a time that they will deliver so I had to drag 332kg of flooring up/ down from my 2nd floor flat with no help as a post partum woman a total of 5 times due to no fault of my own. This has been extremely difficult on my body.
They then declined my request for compensation stating that I had put a negative review up so the management team wouldn’t give compensation as a result. They asked if I would remove or edit the negative review.
I pushed back and explained clearly consumer guidelines which state this type of practice is not allowed, to which they finally gave me compensation and advised there was “confusion” on my side and that the initial refusal of compensation wasn’t linked to my negative review, even though I have messages from them which state so in black and white.
A few days after getting my compensation I then received a notification from trustpilot that the company has flagged my review as potentially belonging to another company. This is not the case. This review is for this company and their unprofessional behaviour continues. Avoid at all costs.
I would not waste your time or money dealing with this company as they have behaved extremely unprofessionally throughout.

Excellent flooring!
The product is excellent - everything as expected. Looked like the image on screen. The delivery was delayed for a week but am still giving it a 5 star because when it was ready to be delivered it came on time, well packed and placed where I requested. Excellent service! The flooring looks really great and we would recommend this to others.

Marble laminate flooring
Really the best customer service i have ever received from an online shop, flooring is just what I wanted, a small problem of a damaged box of flooring that happened in transit and a missing box, this was resolved within a couple of hours, 5 stars to this company and I would highly recommend them, my flooring looks beautiful in my bedroom, i cant wait to get it in my living room as well once my decorating is finished
