Honestly speaking i used to hate uplearn because I thought why are they charging so much but then I got the uplearn scholarship and it’s actually good because if you wanna deeply understand the topic it’s great for that.

Amazing website
They have helpful 24/7 AI tutoring tools that can help with any specific questions in depth and also have real life tutoring available which I think is really helpful when wanting to go over a past paper together, the lessons are easy to understand and very engaging so it ensures you’re paying attention, it doesn’t leave out any details from the spec.

UpLearn is definitely helpful for me
UpLearn is definitely helpful for me, especially because I take A-Level Chemistry and Physics. My use of time has greatly improved because I can cover more subject content in less time.
Especially practicals such as the photoelectric effect, electron diffraction and mass spectrometry.
They also tell you what and what doesn't appear on the syllabus, which is amazing!

Bad to use, poor User experience, unfit for purpose
It forces you into fullscreen and will not let you do anything unless you are in fullscreen. It has an AI chatbot which is 1. Useless and 2. It constantly pesters you and you cannot get it to leave.
It also uses AI to mark questions which takes a ridiculously long time making homework take longer than necessary. Its explanations for wrong answers are also inadequate and unhelpful.
The videos are also unhelpful and questions hard to interpret. UPLEARN PLEASE REMOVE THE AI CHATBOT.
Do not buy.

The most trash website I have ever used…
The most trash website I have ever used in my entire life. It is buggy and doesn't send me to the right page and the courses go outside the exam board spec, when it is meant to be specific. Not only that as a stem student it does not contain the depth of information needed or even the right information sometime. DO NOT use it.

can be incorrect
Many of the answers are marked incorrectly and the timing is also marked wrong - i could be doing it for over 2 hours and they only say i have done 1. However it can still be helpful at certain times.

Our Content team have set up our quiz marking to try and be as flexible as possible for how students might answer, while also making sure that you’re still answering questions as needed to get the mark in the exam.
That said, if you ever need more context or clarification on a question, our tutors will be happy to walk you through it anytime. You can also report any questions, and their answers’ using the ‘Report a problem’ button - this helps us investigate and fix any mistakes quickly if needed.
Your time spent and hours is tracked based on your active study time on the platform , like watching videos and completing quizzes. Time spent navigating the page, on breaks, or away from the screen won’t be counted.
If anything still doesn’t seem right, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly via the chat or at team@uplearn.co.uk. We’re always happy to help!

Usefulness in AQA Biology and Psychology?
This website is super helpful for both Biology and Psychology! The videos were so useful with the little icons making it easier to visualise and memorise, whilst features like the exam questions after the topic or during the video, even the strengthening support makes it a useful resource!

it is really good especially A level chemistry. Uplearn explains complex topics in an easy way. I use uplearn regularly and I have seen massive improvements in both my confidence and grades in the subject. I would really recommend using uplearn for understanding, and practice complex topics. 👍
