Niki, I'm so sorry your urn arrived damaged, and that there was nothing in the box to show you how it opens. That isn't good enough, and I want to fix it for you.
Your review was the first we knew anything was wrong. I tried to call you this morning but couldn't reach you, and I've also emailed you directly. We've recently moved to a QR code in the box that opens the instructions on your phone, as part of making our packaging more eco-friendly, but a small number of orders went out before it was working properly, and yours was one of them. That's on us, and it's now sorted. Once we're in touch I'll get your urn put right and make sure you have the sealing strips, which are inside the packaging but easy to miss when there's nothing there to point them out.

Urns for Angels have wonderful Urns
Firstly, Urns for Angels do have a wonderful selection of Urns. And it is easy to reach their representative on the phone. However when I just needed help to open the Urn I ordered, I found the company slow to take initiative to help me, and there were no instructions accompanying the Urn on its arrival. Finally following several phone calls from myself requesting help, the issue was resolved. Apart from that the Urn itself is beautiful and I am delighted with it.

You're right that your urn should have come with clear instructions for opening it, and it didn't. We've recently moved to a QR code in the box that loads the opening guide on your phone, as part of making our packaging more eco-friendly, and a small number of orders went out before it was working properly, yours among them. That left you having to come back to us to find out how the piece opened, which I'm sorry about, and it's now been put right.

The piece you chose, with its oily green glaze, is handmade and hand-glazed by a single artisan, every one finished individually rather than turned out on a production line. The price reflects that craft and the materials behind it, nothing more. We hold ourselves to the opposite of what you've suggested: we never price around grief, and in your case the piece was actually bought at a discount, below its usual price. For families who need a gentler cost, we also carry simpler, more budget friendly options, and we would always rather help someone find the right piece than see them priced out. So impressed with this option, it was just perfect of what my mum would want.
The item is beautiful, I purchased some notes so people could add their own message into the pillow.
Mum floated out with the waves, disappeared a few minutes later. Certainly enough time for some words and a prayer.
Loved the memorial page (free access) to know where her earthly presence was returned to and where we can go back and think of her. Absolutely priceless

Beautiful ceramic urn
This was a beautiful ceramic Urn thank you. Took a couple of weeks to come but worth the wait, can tell hand made and lovely quality ceramic. Feels very smooth and nice to touch with the matt finish looks lovely quality unlike some cheaper alluminuim ones i have seen of same design. Worth paying double price for quality ceramic. Mine was for small adult so perfect size for my Mum. I ordered the white teardrop shape with small gold heart in middle. Its beautiful. Definately recommend this business. Thank you so much xx

You've described exactly why we work the way we do: the white teardrop with the little gold heart is handmade in solid ceramic, which is why it took the couple of weeks it did, and why it feels smooth and substantial in the hand rather than like the cheaper aluminium versions of the same shape. Double Heart Companion Urn
I am very pleased with the double heart companion urn I purchased for my parents. They were married on Valentines Day so, to me the urn is very symbolic. The urn was packaged very well, arrived without any damage and arrived in just a few days. It looks beautiful. I plan to purchase some type of biodegradable product to tie them together when placed in the ocean water. I will recommend Urns For Angels to family and friends

I placed the order, which was confirmed, I was told when the item would be delivered and it was delivered on time; it was well packaged, as the item is fragile and could have been damaged if not packed property.
