Cucina che doveva essere "professionale"e"

Acquistato Ilve Majestic tramite rivenditore di Bologna Musi, purtroppo gia al momento dell'acquisto, non mi ha consigliato sulle possibili configurazioni o personalizzazioni della cucina. Mi sono proposta di andare in sede per visionare le cucine e confrontarmi personalmente, nonostante la distanza, mi è stato risposto che non avevano cucine in sede e liquidata così. Purtroppo solo in seguito, guardando su riviste e seguendo alcuni siti, mi sono resa conto di quanto avrei potuto variare la cucina, dall'iniziale e basica, configurazione del sito. Onestamente, mi aspettavo, visto il prezzo, una qualita maggiore:
pomelli sopra il forno che scuriscono, dopo 1 anno di utilizzo. Luce del forno che non illumina la placca nella posizione piu alta impostata nel forno. Se fuoriesce del liquido nel cucinare, dal piano cottura, passa all'interno dello sportello forno e fuoriesce a terra...insomma per oltre 5 mila euro di stufa "semi professionale", mi aspettavo di piu, nemmeno la mia precedente e semplice cucina Smeg, annerivano i popoli dal calore o cadevano liquidi a terra.

Purchased an Ilve 40”range on December…

Purchased an Ilve 40”range on December 15, 2025 from Home Depot. The range was delivered and professionally set up on December 23rd. We immediately had the problem of not being able to ignite the burners as intended. We had to lite them using a secondary flame. (Cigarette lighter)
Called Ilev for service and they were accommodating, however, the closest service technician had to drive 2 and 1/2 hours “one way” to service the range. He determined the Mother Board was defective, the lights and fans in the oven were also not functioning. These issues were present on the first day right out of the box.
He placed an order for replacement parts and said for us to call when the parts arrived.
Approximately 3 weeks later the parts arrived and we called for the technician, he was scheduled a few days later and everything seemed perfect after his work and the range was completely functional.
Approximately two weeks later, just yesterday morning and after the technician had everything working, we turn on the oven and heard two loud “booms” and the range began to smoke.
Turned off the range tried to call Ilve but being Saturday no one was available.
We called Home Deport and spoke with several representatives. They referred us to Ilev for service.
After much thought we decided along with Home Depot to return the range for a full refund.
I still have to schedule the pick up and the refund will take a few weeks. We will apparently not be compensated for the cost of installation/disconnection and the lack of use of a fully functional range for several weeks.
I’m reasonably confident in Home Depot and feel they will end this saga on a positive note.
The Ilve product looks great and has lots of good features. The product is manufactured in Italy and the quality is sub par along with the repair parts logistics and service technician support.
Hopefully the company (Ilev)will take mine and other product reviews seriously to improve the product and service quality.
Without the drastic improvement their entry into the US market will be short lived.

Looks good, but broke down, noone repairs it & bad service

We spent a ton of money on their oven range. It is a beautiful item but we had a bad experience. The oven, which didn't use that many time (probably 30 times max) stopped working just out of warranty (of course). When we called in we had a bad customer service experience. The rep didn't help us much and gave us the number of one of their service partners that helps with repairs. That company quoted us 1200 to fix it. We called around and NO ONE SERVICES ILVE. So, you feel boxed in. And when we called ILVE and they gave us their recommended provider we trusted them. Well, after we paid a ton of money, I called ILVE back and they told me that they would have paid for the part and also negotiated the price of the repair for me. They didn't tell me that the first time, which would have been nice. So, it's a nice looking product but it broke on us, had bad customer service, and costs a ton to repair because no one works on it. In addition, lots of things are funcky and not intuitive. I do not recommend getting one of these.
