USA MINT Avis 

Today was without a doubt was the worst customer service I have ever seen from the U S Mint. To start I was made to sign in six times in three minutes, each time having to verify my ID only to be knocked off the web site again an again. It almost seems as if the Mint is trying to control who is allowed to buy this coin & who will have to buy it out in the market & pay more for the same coin. Because I tried to get on the web site more than once I was locked out buy the Mint which means if I want this coin then I will have to pay extra for it because the Mint is controlling who is allowed to buy it & who gets locked out. SO I ASK WHAT THE HELL IS FAIR ABOUT THAT! THE ANSWER IS NOTHING! So again either your a dealer & you get to buy or your not & you get NOTHING!

Again US Mint indicates an item is now available... took a while to get it into the Cart, but then when trying to purchase it... it too is not available. Last time a few months ago I received notification a items as available again as restocked... and again same experience/not available... then why tell me its available? Nobody answering on old style human staffed phone sales line just a continuous recording...but I know in a week or so, high volume dealers will have 100s of these available at 10x to 20x the original price even though there was a buy 1 or 2 limit how did they get 500 available to sell? If item is available, why does the text page tell me every few hours and the phone recording is stating its available.

Horrible!!! This is the coinage services that represent America???
Unable to handle traffic that wouldnt be considered substantial 20 yrs ago..
Place an item in my cart just to get an alert that i have an item in my cart that is not available...
Horrible system....slow, ancient software!! I feel cheated! I was in my account an hour before the coin came on sale...

Bait & Switch... Absolute worst website. I tried to buy a limited addition gold coin. The coin was deposited in my cart but when I went to pay the website kept crashing. I called customer service who told me the site was down and they were working on it. By the time the site came back up they said the coin in my cart was no longer available and I had to delete it from my cart. It asked if I wanted to buy the limited addition silver coin. I selected it and the same thing happened. Added to my cart I went to pay but the site kept crashing. By the time I was finally able to get in it said the coin was no longer available and I had to delete it from my cart. Worse experience ever!!!!

The mint web site is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. After 10 minutes of trying I, a long time registered client, couldn't get in. Many more poor things to say about this awful mint but you get the idea.

Liars, they only give coins to their top customers and block anyone else from buying

Excellent experience with the US Mint. Nice website, good information, and it took only three days to ship to the Netherlands. It was all nicely packaged and I will buy something from them again.

Will not buy from them again looks to be water spots all over my coin expected a much better product coming from the US Mint. Very disappointed with my purchase

I bought this American Eagle Gold 1oz coin, the package is nice and the shipping is fast. Both me and my wife are gold collectors, we like any form of gold, and this one really fits into our collection.

My niece loves to travel so whenever she gets a chance, she goes to a souvenir store and looks for a coin dispenser to get one of those coin souvenirs. She loves collecting them, and I thought the “Gold Australian Battle Coral Sea” coin would be a great addition to her collection. It’s not from a certain place I travel but it is still an amazing coin, plus she’ll have to accept it, I’m her Aunt :) ! Anyways, this coin got arrived just in time and arrived nicely packaged, definitely is well-deserving of a 5 star!

The gold American eagle 1/2 oz coin has a smooth touch to it. I’m in love with the details on this coin!
