Valon Mortgage Avis 

My mortgage was transferred from Rocket to Valon effective 1 July 2026. As of 8 July, the escrow shortage in the amount of $616 that I paid to Rocket on 15 June, has yet to be reflected. Rocket said that by paying the shortage my mortgage would be $1,517 for July. In fact, I have been given dates of 7, 8 and 9 July as to when my mortgage details would be available online. your website shows that it could be several weeks before the escrow payment shows in my account. This is unacceptable! This does not instill a great deal of confidence. I am a retired GS-12 Federal Contracting Officer who personally awarded and managed multiple contracts in excess of $30 million per year for 20 years. I know a little something about details and meeting milestones. In my opinion and given my experience, Valon has missed the mark. I did not achieve a FICO score of 844 by being sloppy and careless. There is ample room for Valon to improve the transfer process. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Gary Metcalf

Where are my paper statements? I've received them from every mortgage company but you. I never signed up for paperless!!!!!!!!

If I could give a zero for customer service I would. Not sure what has happened to Valon Mortgage. Real problems sorting out escrow issues. Are they hiring Burger King employees or what. Different response ever time I contacted them to fix an escrow account error that Valon created. Don’t trust them!!! Something is really going on at Valon and it’s not good. Go elsewhere if you can.

I want able to set up an account! Said I don't have a loan and I do!!!

My monthly property taxes and insurance went up $600 a month and Valon was unable to explain to me why. I talked to my insurance carrier and they said that my annual insurance had actually gone down $1000 for the premium. I was on the phone with Valon for 45 minutes and at 5 PM sharp the call dropped and nobody called me back. Upon returning the phone call they said sorry the office is closed. Nobody reached out to me in the next day and then emailed them with no reply. Terrible customer service experience. My mortgage was sold to Valon. I will be looking for another lender.

An almost seamless process. Very easy to follow, most of it online, and our broker really held our hand. I didn't care for the AI agent at the front of the process - it got confused easily, called relentlessly, and was a little irritating. But once we were connected with our human broker, everything went very quickly and was really easy - much faster than I ever expected!

They kept me informed about what was going on. IF I NEEDED HELP WITH ANYTHING THEY WERE RIGHT READY TO HELP ME AND MADE IT AS EASY AS THEY COULD.

I spoke to 5 reps over4 months. Each one gave me a different explanation for what was happening to our account- none was correct. The result was fees andi interest compounded as well as a major hit to my credit report. This is totally unnecessary customer service and I am very disappointed and frustrated.

Everyone was helpful and answered all our questions and got things done fast. They were always available to talk text or email to and they got back to us fast and explained everything every step of the way. Would highly recommend.

Constantly asked for the same information that had already been provided or received confusing or incomplete requests for information. This was likely tied to our contact at Valon as once it was escalated our application proceeded normally.
