Siobhan was very helpful and I felt like she wanted the best for me to begin my modelling career. All the staff were amazing from the makeup to the hair to the photoshoot. Everything went perfect and smoothly. Siobhan is the best, I highly recommend her. Vanity Studios is the best place for you to start your journey.

We had our family photoshoot last Wednesday and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, always checking that we were comfortable and offering refreshments.
The makeup artist was lovely, especially with our girls.
Also, they were so delighted with how their curly hair turned out that they didn't want to brush it for days!
The shoot itself was great fun. Our daughters could have kept posing for hours, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and playful.
When it came to reviewing the photos, the woman who helped us was extremely knowledgeable and tactful. She gave us time alone to talk through our budget, and we never felt pressured to buy anything we didn't want.
We'd highly recommend them to any family!

My daughters and I, had a good experience at Vanity Studios. The staff are welcoming and put you at ease. The wine and snacks are a lovely extra.
However, the only drawback was when I was sold the offer in person.
There are hidden terms and conditions that aren't sold to you when you book.
The photo packages were moderately priced for the whole experience.
I was very happy with the photographs that were taken.

Lovely chill vibe, the staff were really supportive and helped make me feel comfortable from the start of the experience to the end!

We truly enjoyed our Vanity Studios experience. The team of professional freelancers were fantastic from hair to make up and Bernardo was the icing on the cake…he got the best out of us in our photo shoot and made it fun and enjoyable. We are really pleased with our photos walking away with wanting more! Thanks team, you are all wonderful!

My daughter and I had a fabulous time being pampered and then the extremely but fun photo shoot with Erica. No rushing giving time to enjoy the experience. A great mother daughter few hours together made special. The team were so friendly and extremely helpful, nothing was too much bother . Great hair and make up artists.

I had my photoshoot and received the photos immediately afterwards. Unfortunately, they had not been edited, despite me specifically requesting editing. I also had to crop and straighten one of the images myself because the photo was slightly tilted, making the floorboards appear uneven and distracting.
I received 3 digital images for £200, although the website advertises 3 digital images for £195. I also paid an additional £10 for eyelashes, so I would recommend checking that the pricing is consistent with what is advertised online.
The sales process afterwards made me feel quite uncomfortable. The price list presented started at £495, with the next package from £900 something and the remaining packages costing well over £1,000. This felt misleading, particularly when it is possible to purchase 3 digital images for £195. When I questioned the pricing, I was immediately offered credit and payment instalments rather than being given a clear explanation of the available options.
This photoshoot was a surprise birthday gift from my girlfriends, with a budget of £200, so purchasing additional packages was never an option for me. I am a regular person, not a professional model, and headshots are not something I need for my career — this was simply meant to be a fun birthday experience and a collection of nice photos. I would have appreciated more consideration of that during the sales process.
I am giving 2 stars rather than 1 because there were some genuinely positive aspects of the experience. The makeup artists were fantastic and did an amazing job with both my hair and makeup. The photographer was brilliant, made me feel completely at ease, and we shared lots of laughs throughout the session. The photoshoot itself was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and professional.
Unfortunately, the pushy sales approach and confusing pricing afterwards took away from what would otherwise have been a wonderful experience.
I would say that if you are looking for professional photos and are comfortable with a price range of £500–£1,000+, you will probably love the experience, as the staff are amazing and there are several complimentary services included. The complimentary glass of Prosecco at the end of the session was also a nice touch. Just be aware that eyelashes cost an additional £10.
Overall, I really enjoyed the photoshoot itself, but I feel the pricing and sales experience afterwards could have been much more transparent and considerate.

I attended vanity studios on the 29th October 2026 with my two daughters who have afro hair. I was very skeptical if the team would be able to manage their very thick long hair. But they did a brilliant job. They heat protected and used the right products in their hair. They both felt like princesses. All the staff were very professional and attentive. I absolutely loved my soft glam makeup and was also pleasantly surprised that the makeup artist was trained for darker skin complexion, and colour matched me perfectly. She also didnt apply a heavy layer of makeup at all which made the makeup more comfortable for me. Our photographer Raf was professional and knew exactly what he was doing. The pictures came out amazingly. The entire day was a pleasant professional well organised experience. And I would recommend this 100%. The photos were very expensive to purchase but I absolutely understood why, they were immaculate and beautiful. Left me in debt to be honest thats why I havent given a 5 star.

I had a wonderful day at Vanity Studios. I wanted a pamper day with my friend that would leave us with something practical (like the photos) as well as great memories at the end.. and this experience delivere!

Our team really listened to what we wanted with hair and makeup whilst still giving us something special and unique to the day. They were speedy although it didn't feel rushed being in the hair and makeup chair. They were friendly, chatty and really knowledgeable setting the tone well for the rest of the day. Our photographer was fantastic! Funny, a little cheeky, friendly and creative. He took so many fabulous shots of us and even took my friend giving him creative direction on his shoot extremely well. It was brilliant. We had great repertoire together.

Confirming my booking for the day was a bit of a palaver that caused unnecessary stress and drama but I'm very pleased that this was sorted out quickly and my booking was honoured as rescheduling would have put a real dampener on the day when we did eventually have it. Besides, given how good the day was Im over the moon that we didn't need to postpone.

The quality of the photography and the variety of options available was very good. Ive done a few photoshoots over the years and this was definitely the most fun. The time flew by. I highly recommend. Thank you Vanity Studios

Fantastic day at Vanity Studios!

I did not know what to expect as it was my first professional shoot. The crew is lovely, makeup, hair and the photographer really seemed to enjoy himself taking the pictures.

If I read the reviews before going i would of avoided.
Although my daughter enjoyed the photo shoot and the pictures were incredible, I was very disheartened of the shocking prices they gave me after. I felt so pressured and vulnerable to purchase the pictures
Pricing should of been told from when they sold me the package and it was completely different to online pricing
I left with 2 pictures out of 41 costing me £200.
Knowing they have all those pictures of my 11 year old and also not being able to purchase a good amount has really made me feel like I've been scammed and not to made feel comfortable at all.
I would not recommend anyone going unless you are a millionaire

Didn't know what to expect and was a little nervous about the whole thing. Bought a voucher, as a birthday treat to myself, then almost regretted it. However it turned out to be lovely experience in the end with some lovely pics. Spent more than anticipated on a package so something to think about at the end when reviewing pics. Shout out to Michelle, my photographer, Joanne on makeup, Helen on hair and Chevaughn who reviews your pics and different packages. Definitely a treat. Nice thing to do with friends or family. Refreshments offered throughout the process. Few mins walk from Old Street Station.

My son and I had a session at Vanity studios yesterday. I had booked it mainly to get corporate headshots for my son as a treat for his 17th birthday - although he reluctantly agreed! The entire experience was great, and to my son’s surprise he actually enjoyed the photo session. Firstly my makeup artist Morgan Wynn was superb- he understood the assignment of maintaining a natural look. He didn’t do too much but what he did was enough to accentuate my features and make me camera ready! I was concerned about whether they did black skin well and he did an excellent job. Michelle, our photographer was also amazing and directed all the shots. We got over 100 shots taken! Finally the viewing with Angie was really good-she spent a lot of time with us going through the pictures which came out very well. Again they captured our skin and complexion very well. We were able to select an affordable package which included getting some digital images that same day, and both my son and I left feeling very pleased with the photos. It was money well spent and I’d definitely recommend Vanity studios. Thank you for making my son’s birthday extra special!

Wow! The most incredible and accommodating staff! From the moment we entered the new Hackney studio, to the minute we left! Make up & hair artist were talented & really lovely! Our photographer Danny was brilliant, engaged fantastic with the whole family! The lady who ran through the photos with us was so lovely & full of compliments. Never felt pushed to buy more or hurried to make a decision! Overall a great experience with beautiful family photos to come away with.

From the very start, we were greeted with a warm welcome.
The hairdresser was very friendly and professional, i loved how she done my hair.
I don’t wear make up, so was not convinced. I don’t like the feel but The make up artist was amazing, she knew exactly what I would like, she is so talented. She gave me a natural look.
I did not take my make up off, wanted to keep on forever. I loved it so much.
The photographer was very friendly & so professional
He was so good, he knows his stuff.
We had such an amazing time.
The picture came out so perfect, it captured how we feel.
Definitely will recommend to friends & family.
