We had an amazing experience from start to finish. All the staff from nails, hair and make up to our photographer and image consultant were friendly and made our day unforgettable.

Great day with 12 year old daughter. From hair to make up, snacks and drinks the atmosphere was fun and friendly. She had a great time with the photographer who made her feel comfortable and free to choose her type of shoot. She added her dance skills and he allowed her to be creative. We will definitely use these pictures to update her agency portfolio 😃 be prepared to spend some money on the photos after, but worth it.

It was all fun, make up and hair done. The photographer made us feel comfortable and we got so many shots! The photo package at the end was costly. If it were known to us at the start, it would have been more helpful

We’ve come away with some beautiful photos our day together. We probably spent a little more than anticipated so be strong at the sales point as you will want to buy them all.

I bought a promotional deal for a make-over and photo shoot from Vanity Studios for myself and my daughter. I was a little sceptical, but my 8yo was very excited!
The experience ended up being really delightful. The thing that really made the experience was the staff who were, without exception increadibly friendly and relaxed giving the studio a real family atmosphere.
My daughter was made to feel really special with entirely age appropriate hair and make-up. My own hair and make-up was really beautifully done by the professional hair and make-up artists.
The photoshoot itself was un-rushed and more fun than I was expecting, with a lovely photographer giving us direction and making us feel comfortable.
Reviewing the photos at the end of the experience was fun, though it should be noted that the packages are quite expensive, so I'd recommend going in with an idea of what you're willing / able to spend.
Overall it was a really positive experience which my daughter loved, and we have some really incredible photos to remember the day with.

What an amazing experience! We went to the Wallis Road Studios for a mother and daughter photo shoot. The team are so friendly, helpful and can work unbelievable magic. Made me feel absolutely phenomenal and would highly recommend this to anybody.

Had a great time here. We were assisted with makeup, hair and a quick nail fix to our liking and our photography(Filip) really knew what he was doing. Everyone was very helpful and we left content.

Approached us at comic con, we were told that it’d be around £14 /photo that we wanted. Once we’d gotten there, paid the hotel, arrived at the studio and done the 7 hour shoot they presented us prices that were completely different and unreasonable. we ended up paying nearly £2000 because of pushy and uncomfortable sales management. Avoid at all costs. They also tried to cancel the appointment 1 week prior despite us paying a deposit without telling us!!

I had a lovely time and really enjoyed the experience overall! The staff and atmosphere were great, and I left feeling happy with my hair, makeup etc.

My only suggestion for improvement would be for them to be a bit more upfront about final costs—there were extra charges at the end that caught me off guard. As long as you budget extra for the end of your visit, it’s definitely worth checking out!

From the moment I arrived, all staff were welcoming and gentle which made my friend and I very comfortable. Conversations flowing throughout our make up and hair. For someone like myself who can be quite insecure or shy about these things especially when taken a photo of, this has definitely helped in many ways. Another thing I'd like to mention is that we had a LOT of fun with our photographer, made us feel comfortable, motivated us and would hype us up which boosted our confidence! Best experience overall, can't complain ! 🤍

Misleading Sales Information and a Refund That Was Never Issued.

Very disappointing experience with Vanity Studios. I purchased a £49.99 promotional photography voucher in person, only to discover that the terms were significantly different from what I had been told.

I was not informed of the compulsory additional charges of £50 per person on weekdays or £75 per person on weekends. I was also told the voucher included two images, but the terms subsequently provided stated that only one individual image of one person was included, despite my explaining that five people would be attending.

Additionally, the two-month booking restriction was never disclosed before payment. Had these conditions been explained honestly and clearly, I would never have purchased the voucher.

On 2 February 2026, Vanity Studios agreed in writing to issue a full refund, acknowledging the circumstances surrounding the sale. I provided the requested refund details more than once.

Over eight months later, I still have not received my refund. No appointment was booked, and no service was used.

Misleading information at the point of sale is disappointing enough, but failing to honour a written refund agreement for over eight months is completely unacceptable.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Vanity Studios.

Such a great day and experience for my son's 1st birthday shoot. Very polite and accommodating staff. Made us all feel comfortable. Loved the pampering before the shoot itself. Would highly recommend.

I was literally their first client in one of their new studios, anazing space, nice people, the photographer was really good and my pics came out great!

We had a family photo shoot, arrived at 11am and left late afternoon. All staff were super friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Everyone was taken care of including my 5 year old little boy, staff were great with him. We would go back!

Fantastic experience today with my sister! Very relaxed afternoon with drinks, snacks, lovely make up and hair ladies! Good chat and laughs. We had 3/4 changes of clothes and the photographer listened to what kind of shoot we wanted and put us at ease. The choosing of photos was methodical, efficient but not at all rushed or pressurised. We had a lovely day doing something different and memories to cherish always. Thanks again for a fantastic experience at your new studio in Hackney Wick!

My wife and I scheduled a session here and absolutely adored the results. Having never experienced getting professional photos before in a studio we had no idea what to expect. From the make-up artists and hair stylists at the start to the amazing photographer the experience was all at once relaxing, joyful, and left us both with a boosted feeling of confidence. We ended up going beyond our original package option and selecting more photos as it was just too hard to narrow down. In the end I'm so glad we tried it and would love to come back in the future should the occassion arise.
