The report itself was informative and comprehensive. Can't compare with any others but this one was good enough for me before attempting to buy a used car.

Straight forward experience

Overall, I had a really positive experience using the RAC Vehicle Check. The service was easy to use, clear, and quick, and the report was laid out in a way that was simple to understand. It gave me confidence during the buying process and highlighted important information, including outstanding finance, which helped me make a much more informed decision. I felt reassured knowing I had all the facts before committing to the purchase, and I’d definitely use the service again and recommend it to others buying a used car.

Quick and easy process.
Very detailed/informative report - added bonus of being able to check VIN!

Was looking at buying a mercedes it was fairly cheap compared to the valuation when I spoke to the seller he said it was finance free and not a category car and that he would only accept cash no transfers, so, I used RAC history checker and it told me everything I needed to know. I found out the car had outstanding finance, who the finance company was, that the finance was for 60 months and that it was taken out 6 month prior. The seller insisted there was no finance on the car even after I sent him the evidence so I called the finance company who confirmed they had a financial interest in the vehicle. Thank you RAC for helping me NOT make a very expensive mistake, I will definitely use you again when buying a car.

it gave me a detailed report from when the car was new, including a numberplate change what the car was worth and any outstanding finance on the car.

I did this vehicle history check to make sure there were no outstanding problems with the vehicle. This was carried out quickly and gave me peace of mind.

Trust worthy and Informative

Excellent detailed information, saved a lot of wasted time and money before going to see the car that we would have ultimately bought without the relevant data and ended up with a lemon.
