Viva transfers Avis 

We chose to opt for a private taxi transfer rather than a tour operator bus for ease, convenience and stress free travel…. just DON’T use VIVA TRANSFERS.

Sent a sedan car instead for return journey to airport (yet picked us up in a Mercedes Vito). Couldn’t fit out 3 cases in along with 4 passengers - all this information is given when making the booking so they are aware of size of vehicle required.

Totally refused to help or accept liability when we called to ask for a new vehicle to be sent or pay for a taxi to transport half our family and luggage. Lady on phone was adamant she wasn’t going to help us. Ended up having no choice and having to give up. This resulted in us paying for another vehicle ourselves and a very stressful journey to the airport - not how you hope to end a holiday.

We’ve since been made aware this is a regular issue with Viva Transfers so please avoid.

I only clicked one star because I had to otherwise it would be none , absolutely terrible company, failed to pick us up on our last day early hours because the villa they dropped us to ( so they knew where it was ) wasn't on there GPS , we contacted them. ,they would only talk by what's app and not pick up the phone , they said they would have to charge us again for a pick up ( even though we had already paid ) because the driver was on another job and they would have to send another one , had to end up getting a taxi at another 55 euros to the airport , have sent emails and such to no avail , avoid this company if I were you

I have used these guys for the last 2 years for airport transfers in Lanzarote, Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Always found them to be an excellent service.On time, good vehicles, pleasant drivers. Had a situation where I had to cancel due to sickness and they refunded my trip cost with 24 hours. Excellent service. Will continue to use them and I recommend them.

We traveled with a 2-year-old and a 5-month-old and specifically booked and paid for two car seats for a return journeyman. On the way to the hotel, we were given a booster seat and a toddler car seat. The driver then tried to convince me that my toddler could use the booster—even though it clearly stated a minimum of 15kg and my child is only 11kg—and suggested putting my 5-month-old, who can barely support her head, into the toddler seat. The toddler seat was also missing all the padding around the head.
I contacted Viva Transfers immediately. They apologized and assured me the correct car seats would be provided for our return journey. They were not.

On the return trip, we were given an extremely old infant seat (looked like it was from the 1980s) for our 5-month-old and, once again, a booster seat for our toddler. Neither were safe or appropriate.

Both carseats had to be expired given their age so therefore even when provided are completely unsafe and inadequate.

Booked a return transfer in Tenerife didn’t show up for either and didn’t seem to care. Avoid

Rang them to confirm pick up fron hotel had immediate positive response by a very friendly lady.taxi arrived spot on time by a really nice e and friendly driver.i have used viva for the past 3 years and everything been brilliant I will be using again in February.so thanx to all at viva Anthony daniels

Easily booked on the website months in advance for pickup on a Sunday morning at Lanzarote airport, even though the flight was early and security was extra quick, the driver was ready and waiting for us, just like the two times before on previous bookings. Super efficient, arrived at destination promptly after a quick and safe drive, would recommend especially for Lanzarote.

Pre booked a transfer with viva transfers and Arrived at GC airport and no taxi was waiting after waiting around for 20 mins at the pick up point i decided to call the 24/7 emergency number only to find a Spanish answering machine with no English option. A Spanish tour operator kindly helped me and listened to the messages and signed “no no” to me I assumed no answer. Then after 30 mins I received a what’s app message asking if I had found my driver to which I replied NO I was told to wait they were looking for him. 40 mins past this was now 10.40pm he wouldn’t answer my calls just kept messaging me. After a further 15 mins he messaged to say my driver had taken another family thinking it was me. Wtfffff. I was then told to get in another taxi pay and the would refund me after an hour of waiting and a further €80 I had no option. Viva Transfer refunded me €80 after 8 days but I will never use or recommend these again absolute shambles. So please be aware

Booked Viva transfers for our arrival at Tenerife South airport to Los Cristianos. The night before our departure they sent a message asking if we would share with another family on our flight who were going to the same area & they would refund 50%. We said we would but when we arrived there was no one there for us & the office was closed. We tried calling the 24/7 telephone number on our confirmation but there was no answer! Having checked our email they had sent a message mid flight cancelling on us saying that as our flight was late (1 hour) they had no driver. Will never use them again 😡

Booked transfer with childseats 2 months ahead. The day of the flight they send us a message that their drivers don’t drive that time in the night. ”Go to desk number xxx and if they can’t offer you a transfer take a taxi. No we can’t guarantee that they have childseats”. The said they would refund for the taxi and the childseats. Well that would have been very helpful for us for example in case of an emergency and dead kids?! Luckily we found another transfer last minute, but Viva transfer only offer 50% refund because they think they made their part?! Never trusting them again!

I booked a return transfer from and to Lanzarote airport. They were there to collect us but never turned up for the return journey. When I called to see where they were, I was told with little concern that they couldn’t get hold of the driver so I had better get a cab. They told me they would give me a refund, and that was that. Lanzarote is not the easiest place to get a cab a certain times of the day so we arrived at the airport with minutes to spare. I would strongly recommend to AVOID!! at all costs

I’ve had good and bad experiences with this company so foolishly I thought I’d give them one more chance and booked them to transfer me from Lanzarote airport. Far too predictably their driver was not there to meet me. I waited 20 mins and then called them. After waiting another 10 mins for the Vivatransfers woman to find my driver I was called back and told they were 30 mins away. I ended up jumping in a taxi outside the airport which was not only cheaper but would have gotten me to my hotel 30 mins quicker.

I’m now waiting for my refund.

It seems that this company has gone to the dogs. I’d avoid them like an estate agent at a party.

Terrible experience, booked transfer weeks ahead of time and hit me with the common message that they want me to share and when I said no gave me attitude.

UPDATE ON REFUND: The money had been showing as 'Pending' within my bank last Friday. Since posting reviews this has now been removed, so looks like my refund is not happening. So again, BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE BOOKING WITH VIVA.
After 1 hour and 15 minutes of not showing up and numerous calls by myself I had to call another firm to provide transfer from Costa Adeje to the airport, arriver in 3 minutes and took 20 minutes to airport.
Viva Transfers never once called me to say there were delays, I was the one doing all the calling. I requested full refund, told it would be provided within 3 to 5 days.
Luckily I had enough time before my flight but others may not be so lucky, certainly won't be using Viva again.

Avoid this company! I was left 45mins outside the address given to be told the driver was there!!! Total liars! Just get a normal taxi about 20 cabs passed us too. Had to pay again!!
Edit: Company did refund me after I complained.

Booked from private accommodation to Fuerteventura airport. Viva transfer never turned up. Couldn't get through on the phone but eventually got a WhatsApp message asking if I had found my driver yet. I replied no. They asked me to wait a few minutes. 15 mins later they said new driver was on the way. He never showed either. I eventually got a taxi at 9am when Viva were to collect at 8am. Just about made my flight. Never again.

I booked a refundable one way transfer for Jan 2025, in November 24, I decided to cancel.

Initially Viva cancelled the booking promptly, however then came up with excuse after excuse as to why the couldn't refund the money paid.

They asked for information that didnt exist, gave every excuse from the card not accepting the refund to the fact they had Bank Holidays. Even my bank (in the UK) couldn't understand why they were unable to complete the refund transaction!

Finally after 2 weeks, I finally received the refund, after I constantly had to contact them, chasing a refund that should have been made immediately!

In my experience I would NEVER use Viva again, terrible terrible service!

Excellent service

We were delayed coming theough passport control which was totally out of our control. The driver refused to wait even though we prepaid. The person we communicated with was very rude. The company refused to give us our refund of €80.50. We had to get a taxi outside which was much cheaper. Would definitely not recommend. Nightmare...
