Viva transfers Avis 

Booked a transfer for 7 people to pick up from Tenerife airport, got an email the day before saying that they had a shortage of drivers and that they had passed the booking on to their partners, when we arrived we found that their partners were the taxis outside the airport, had to wait 45 minutes for a 7 seat taxi, no car seat for the little one that we had booked. Will not be using them again. Might as well just use the taxis as it is cheaper

My flight was over 2 hours late last Saturday. I was worried that the driver would be there because of the long detlay. But there was no problem, and the driver was waiting in the arrivals hall. I highly recommend Viva Transfers

Terrible service had the money as I was in hospital my dad had paid them of this way previously but said they had no record, probably as they got my last name as Gibson instead and learnt to spell!!!!!

We have used viva transfers a lot over the past 15 years and until the last 3 transfers I would have said how good they were but now our transfers have been a total disgrace.
1, We got off the flight to find that there was not enough taxis for all of the customers and we were asked to share our transfer with strangers while they were there. It puts everyone in an uncomfortable situation and it's not what either of us had paid for but it wasn't the end of the world.
2. We got off the flight 20 minutes early and went to where we were getting collected to find nobody waiting. I rang the helpline and was told our taxi was over an hour away and it was our fault for the flight being early! I still don't understand the reasoning but they cancelled our transfer and I paid more for a airport taxi at the rank.
3. Our flight was delayed by just over an hour and when we arrived we were stranded without a taxi as they said that the driver had ran out of hours and cancelled the booking and again pay extra for an airport taxi from the rank.
Yes we received a refund for the agreed transfers but that didn't cover the cost we had to pay for the airport taxis.
Their customers service is terrible and the apology was so hollow it just added insult to injury.
In simple terms don't book a transfer unless you are prepared to be let down and have to use an expense airport taxi.

Very happy with the communication and way our flight delay of over an hour was dealed with. We will use the service again!

Used Viva transfers a few times. Excellent service. Emails a few days before they pick you up and a follow up a couple of days before also. Gives you confidence they will be there.

Never let you down.

Interestingly a few customers have commented on the company not being as good. We have used them in Gran Canaria many times but this time they did not arrive leaving us stranded outside of the main tourist area for our return to the airport. We had to then find money to pay for another taxi. They were also late to pick up my daughter at the airport. For a company either to be late or not turn up for an airport runs in unacceptable so beware of booking.

Didn't pick us up, after 30 minutes of waiting, we phoned them only to be told they would phone us back, ten minutes later we had to phone again, they said the roads were blocked and the driver wasn't answering his phone and they would phone me back, this time 50 minutes after my pick up time and said make your own way to the airport. SHAME ON VIVA TRANSFERS

I booked transfers from Fuerteventura airport to our hotel in Corralejo for 6/3/2024 and return on 13/2024. TheBooking process was simple and there was plenty of communication from the company confirming my booking.

Just as I was boarding my flight I had a call from Viva saying they were short of vehicles and would I mind sharing with one other couple who were going to the same town. Of course I could only agree to this request.

We found our driver, and the other couple, without difficulty and we were soon on our way.

The next day I received an email apologising for any inconvenience and informing me they had refunded half the cost of the outbound journey.

Two days before my return I discovered my flight departure time had been out back by 45 mins. I used Vivas online system to amend our departure time from the hotel. This worked brilliantly and the taxi arrived right on time to collect us.

Absolutely fantastic service. Very reasonably priced and extremely reliable, I can highly recommend.

Driver waiting for us when we arrived, female driver very pleasant,helpful and polite. Vehicle very clean and tidy. Same female driver waiting for us outside hotel on time. Easy process from start to finish will definitely use again.

Booked viva transfers instead of tour operators coach as my partner is disabled and not able to get up the coach steps.arrived at tenerife Airport no one there so rang them told me it would be 1 to 2 hours which means more like 3 they overbook knowing the can't do the job terrible company be warned

The drivers were good, nice clean vehicles, and on time. Great service. We will use them again.

Waited an hour for our airport transfer in Tenerife. When I messaged them to find out why it hadn’t turned up was sent pic of a white car apparently stuck in traffic and after several messages saying it was en route got a mini bus arrived an hour after our booked pick up time. Not impressed with their service or response at all

Had used the company for years across the canaries but really gone downhill. Looking on here not the only person to be cancelled with no notice in Tenerife - told to get a taxi - on return required support with taxi no help received - ended up paying another driver due to confusion they said was our fault- I asked them to update their procedures so others are warned of the scams they leave open to - ignored told as far as they were concerned they had provided a driver. Very stressful for premium price and no service !

We had really good service from Viva - we would book them again, on time polite and done what expected. I have seen the other bad reviews but this was not the case for us. We booked form airport to hotel plus the return trip.

Less than 1 star. Absolute Hoax. DO NOT BOOK WITH THE COMPANY. Travelled to Tenefire paid for private pick-up. No one at the airport had to call and was told to go to desk. Then was taken outside to a taxi queue and 30 mins later got taxi to resort .
On the way back - a bus arrived and it was late.

Save you money - poorest service I have ever experienced

Terrible customer service, booked a private transfer and they want me to share a mini coach with other families. When I said I preferred a private transfer which I had booked and paid for. They then cancelled my transfer, all this the night before I was due to travel.

Collection and return from Gran Canaria Airport to Puerto Mogan. Excellent all round. Nice clean car. Pleasant driver. Spot on time .

Booked a transfer from Gran Canaria Airport to our hotel and the return journey. The service provided was excellent.

We were greeted at the airport as detailed in the email. We paid for a baby seat and a booster seat both were in the vehicle ready for us.

We booked a 6 seater but in fact I would say a 14 seater turned up. The driver was very friendly.

On our return the driver arrived 10 minutes early and again the seats were already in the vehicle. I cannot fault the service.
