Venturer Canoe & Equiment

Ordered the Venturer Canoe which came with additional straps, reached out to Wave asking what they would be used for? Esther at Wave came back with a reply within minutes adding the straps were for securing additional gear/equipment to the canoe when out paddling. Thank you Wave will be testing out the Venturer over the coming days on Loch Lubnaig....watch this space.

I have the Wave Explore 2-3 kayak

I have the Wave Explore 2-3 kayak. It is brilliant!!!! So glad I chose this kayak from a local company! I had a little problem with a leak from a valve when delivered, but this was sorted once I tightened up the valve. I must point out to those who say there’s no customer service, you might want to check your spam folder in your email on a computer and not smart phone!!!!! I made this mistake and apologise to customer service for the bombardment of mail and messages.
On finding correspondence from Wave Customer services, I cannot stress how great they were. Big thank you to Sophie and Esther!!!!! and again big apologies for the multiple mails and messages!!!!!
Off to do some paddling Thank you for a great product and will continue to be a regular Wave customer!!!!!

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service! Would recommend this company to anyone when asked about my Paddleboard.
I emailed an enquiry over about my board being faulty and received a very polite and prompt response. Antria was very helpful and a replacement board was sent out to me a few days later. I will definitely buy from Wave again.

Had an issue with my kayak but now sorted

Had an issue with my kayak but after dealing with Sophie, I’m now getting a replacement sent out which is really appreciated as I was worried nothing could be done but Sophie was really helpful throughout 😊

Love my new Tourer paddleboard, super easy to inflate and deflate, seems wider than my friends other brands too which helps with balance! Bag is super spacious which makes it 100x easier when leaving the water. Great job - would highly recommend

Wave SUP outstanding service

Wave SUP has been great to work with on a warranty issue. Communication was timely, friendly, and completely resolved my issue. I'm very satisfied with Wave SUP and would absolutely purchase more products from them.

Great human customer service

The customer service employees are fantastic, rapid thoughtful replies. Lovely to interact with.
The chat bot on the website is rather painful to interact with, but once you are through to a person they are brilliant. I spoke with Jessica, Laurie and Riyad, all well informed and happy to help.
Would recommend.

They are a scam

They are a scam. I returned my order as it was faulty, and the company refused to refund me even after they confirmed the return and I provided evidence. Then they stopped replying to any communication. I went to court and won. They are still running away from the money they own, so I will have to send the bailiffs. They are a dodgy scam company, and if there are any issues with the equipment, they will steal your money.
I wish there was a way for me to upload the emails and court documents so you can see how dodgy this company is.

Order cancelled with no explanation

Have been wanting to upgrade my board for awhile and finally took the plunge for my birthday. The order didn’t arrive within the allocated time even though I had an email saying it’s been delivered. Later received an email saying sorry for the inconvenience and i will be refunded. I have emailed to question what the issue was and I have had no reply or refund a week later. Not great customer service.

replacement kayak…

Order a couple of replacement kayak seat clips. Unfortunately initially sent incorrect items and a second set of same as replacements. Third time lucky all sorted and better quality than original clips supplied. Great to see excellent good old fashioned customer care and excellent communication when things go wrong.

Pro 2 SUP

I’ve got the Pro 2 and it’s such a good SUP - so many features and a high build quality. The customer service is also brilliant, I misplaced a fin during a move and Antria decided to send me a free replacement within 24 hours. Awesome gesture - thank you!

Jessica’s Customer Service Has Converted Me To A Customer For Life

I have never purchased from Wave before but I needed a new board and liked the look of what they had to offer. The website isn’t only easy to navigate with loads of information (but not too overwhelming) the quality of the products even down to how it’s was packaged in the box is outstanding. I had a small query I needed answered and the chat bot that was being used out of hours picked up my query easily and sent to a human who answered it the following day. I had a swift response from Jessica who was polite friendly and professional. This experience has been so positive for me I will only purchase all my kit and additional boards going forward through Wave. Service is never given enough credit nowadays but today Jessica’s service has converted me to only use one place to purchase all my water equipment going forward. Thank you

Amazing product, poor customer service

Final product ended up being fantastic, but the customer service I experienced was really disappointing. I bought a paddleboard from Wave three years ago, and the whole buying experience was brilliant. Therefore, I bought a changing robe from Wave last year, and the customer service was incredible after a mishap in their warehouse. They supplied me with two changing robes for the price of one due to a delay, and they were really easy to communicate with to sort the issues. I was so happy with these experiences, that I bought an inflatable kayak from Wave this year. However, the kayak came with very poor instructions regarding inflation. The instructions did not contain crucial information about how to inflate the kayak, so I could not use it immediately. I used the online chat on the website, which seems to be AI. It could not answer my query so put me on a list where I received an automated email asking me to reply to this with more detail regarding my query. This email address was just a bunch of jumbled letters and numbers, and did not seem legit at all. I managed to find a second customer care email address for which I contacted with my queries and photos. I received no response despite chases. I then found the email address used for communications from a helpful staff member last year, and again no response. After a couple of days, I finally received a response with apologies and guidance, however the guidance contained simple instruction saying I needed to ‘to insert the hose into the side of the kayak and start pumping’- this was completely ridiculous advice given I obviously knew this part- my query was regarding the fact that the valves were not correct or clear as to HOW to put the hose into the valve correctly. To make it even worse, the email contained a video link about how to inflate a PADDLEBOARD. I was querying inflation of a kayak, which has completely different valves to the paddleboard. Eventually, I used different videos and guides which I found myself on YouTube, and inflated the kayak. The kayak is of amazing quality and is perfect for use, but the customer service i experienced from Wave was entirely different to the amazing experience I received over the past few years. I am happy with my product but am wary to purchase anything else from Wave due to this recent experience.
