Wavy Amsterdam 

SCAM !! The company send product directly from China , so you can buy same item from China cheaper - they show video on their website on a curl waves , which are taken from other website - the one I received doesn’t match with the one you see on the website , but a different version from China -

The Wavy Pro Waver I bought has an electrical fault and broke on first use. Wavy Amsterdam have been incredibly slow to respond, eventually saying I need to pay for return postage to Amsterdam contrary to consumer rights. I am still waiting for a response....

I placed an order for a product one month ago, but it still hasn’t arrived no tracking link also. No one responds to my emails. This is the first time I’ve experienced such a scam.

Scam. En advarsel til jer som overvejer at købe dette produkt. Jeg ville ønske jeg havde været mere opmærksom inden jeg bed på krogen.
1. Ordren var meget længe om at ankomme. Jeg havde skrevet til dem inden at jeg ønskede at annullere. Men intet svar.
2. Orden kom uden jeg havde hørt noget fra dem.
3. Skrev til dem at jeg ønsker at returnere produktet. Endnu intet svar.
4. Åbnede pakken og blev bekræftet i at det var scam. Æsken lugtede langt væk af billig Kina vare. Og produktet var meget tynd og billig plastik. Så nu venter jeg på en mail fra dem omkring returnering.

Don’t order ! I wish I’d checked the reviews but I didn’t …a month later and still zero communication / take a 100 and flush it at least then you’d know where your money went

Ordered. Was told it had been shipped. It never arrived. Emailed over five times. No response. I wish I’d read the reviews before I ordered.

Customer service is non-existent.

Order didn’t arrive. No response from emailing. No other way to contact. Never received tracking number. Requested refund. No response. Tried to return payment through bank — as of yet not received. Would not recommend.

Simple, made an order for the hair styling tool weeks ago, Nov 10. The day I placed the order my credit card showed the $77. purchase. And I received an email a week later asking if I’m enjoying my purchase. I have never received my purchase and there is no response from my attempts to contact Wavy Amsterdam. This company is a scam! If you want quality hair styling tools visit L’ange. They are the real deal, customer service and quick delivery of a quality product. Hey Wavy Amsterdam you should change your name to “Scam Amsterdam”.

Same as everyone else, I'm still waiting for my Pro Wavy Curler. Ordered on Nov. 2nd, it's the 26th and still nothing. I just ordered a TYMO wavy curler and will arrive tomorrow, TOMORROW!
IF I ever receive the Wavy Amsterdam curler, I will gift to a friend. Not happy. Disappointed.

3 weeks since I ordered, no updates on order status on the Shop link, and no replies to multiple emails from me asking about my order status. Like one recent review says, either I have been scammed or their customer service is just dreadful

I ordered Nov 11, 2025. I received an email saying the product shipped but when I check the website, it says it has not. I have emailed twice and sent dm’s through IG, but have received no response beyond autoreplies. I want to know when to expect my product and worry that the company, which is pushing a Black Friday sale on social media, is unable to meet demand.

The product is unfortunately of bad quality. It also damages the hair and is not worth the price. Depending on where you live, you have to pay the return shipping cost of €25 yourself and first explain to a customer service representative why you want to return the product. It takes a long time for the representative to get back to you, and a lot of time passes. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.

I was honestly quite disappointed with the wave curler I got, it was already scratched and looked like it had been used, the packaging was poor. It did not feel like a new or nice item. Very disappointing for the price. Nothing like their insta or website page. Would not recommend.

I did order and never received the item. This company is horrible. I wrote several emails. No reply at all. This company should be banned! Do not order!

I ordered a wavy pro on November 5th, order number 7649 and have still not received it. I have sent multiple emails to support and hi @wavy-amsterdam.com and have heard nothing back. Very disappointing. I hope other people read this before they buy the product so they know not to buy it.

I ordered 2 wavy pro wavers from an ad on instagram on 2/11/25. I then checked reviews on trustpilot after 10 days and was very concerned it was a scam. I have emailed several times with no response which made me think I really had been scammed. However, the products arrived today and work really well. They really need to pay for somebody to respond to emails, it’s very stressful thinking you’ve been scammed when instead, the postage is quite lengthy

I ordered the product and paid for it but have never received it. I’ve tried contacting the company but never receive a response to my emails only an automated response that my message has been received

18 days nothing recieved. Was sent automated email to say my 'shipping protection' had shipped. Erm... Then told my product was on the way but no tracking sent. No reply from customer service. Clearly a SCAM

Update after response. No my tracking link does not state that. Would you like me to share the emails and the automated responses from you saying you reply within 24hours and you also speak dutch?

Sort your customer service out - if your service was good you wouldn't have so many negative reviews.

I am updating my last review on this company. The item did finally arrive. It takes so long to deliver as the item is shipped directly to the customer from china. The product is unbranded and the name wavy Amsterdam does not appear any where on the packaging or product. The quality of the product is poor and certainly doesn’t warrant the price tag. Tymo has much better quality products for the same price. The customer service is non existent leading to a stressful experience because I honestly felt I had been scammed.
So although I am updating my review the company still only gets one star
