Still waiting!!!! And £600 out of pocket at the moment have raised a claim against this awful company with PayPal and they haven’t even responded to them . Generic email replies and an old foreign lady who answered the phone hadn’t got an ounce of sympathy for the situation. Updated with a fake DPD tracking code promising delivery yesterday to delay things further.
I can’t understand why this company would do this it’s beyond me .
I now wait until the 27th sep for PayPal to vote in my favour and get my money back

Poor customer service.
I ordered Luceco Smart down lights x8 on 3 September off the web site,I was informed on 7th September they had been discontinued and no alternative order number 116707.
Was informed on the 8th of September they would refund nearly £200.00 and could be up to 7 days to be back in my account,as of the 17th September I have neither heard from Westbase or had my monies refunded.
Two problems I have with Westbase they should update their website to stop people from ordering and paying for out of stock items and refund monies in a timely fashion ,as they have now had my funds for 14 days.

Received 4 Lutec Grosvenor outdoor wall…
Received 4 Lutec Grosvenor outdoor wall lights in stainless steel. Found wall lights fitted with plastic lenses and not clear glass as advertised.
Sent email on the 27 August 2026 no response, phone and spoke to Oman and was asked to sent photo's.
Still waiting with no response to date 12 September 2026.

Awful customer service.
Very disappointing experience. I expected much better service from an electrical wholesaler, but unfortunately the communication and customer service were extremely poor. There was a lack of urgency, little support when issues arose, and getting clear answers was unnecessarily difficult.
I would not recommend them and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Great price, quick delivery and exactly as described
Bought a couple of Timeguard PIR bulkhead lights from Westbase Direct after finding they were considerably cheaper than I’d seen elsewhere.
Ordering was straightforward, communication was good and the lights arrived quickly, well packaged and exactly as described. They’re now fitted and I’m really pleased with them — excellent quality and ridiculously bright, which is exactly what I was after.
First time I’ve used Westbase Direct, but based on this experience I’d have absolutely no hesitation using them again. Good prices, good service and no unnecessary drama — exactly how online shopping should be.
Highly recommended.
