Bought a subscription as a christmas…
Bought a subscription as a christmas gift.
There’s been 0 communication on when the first delivery will come, even though it’s now the 16th and the website says they ship on the 8th every month.
I’d understand if I’d missed this months cut off but my friend has had absolutely no update since activating the subscription at all even to say when one will be shipped.
They say they aim to respond to everything on their socials in 48 hours, have had no response since contacting them on Sunday through both socials and email. The phone number also doesn’t connect.
Dreadful Customer Service - No Response
Zero response to emails. Was bought a voucher for Christmas but I'm required to enter my bank card details to redeem the voucher. As my wife has already bought the voucher my details are irrelevant and simply a required of Shopify their global purchasing platform. Privacy Notice ref data protection also contains couple of questionable elements e.g. your data is processed 'in your vital interests' which is only used for medical life & death situations. Zero response to emails over 2 weeks. Lots of 1 star rating regarding poor service. Wondering if the company's in trouble. Odd that the company is sponsored by 2 Dragons

The subscription gift code I was given does not work. I have emailed the company on many occasions but have not received a reply in over two weeks. My wife is now trying to get a refund.

Been with Whisky Me for over 8 months. Flitted between Discovery and Traditional. The odd fulfilment problem, which could have been to me changing delivery address. But was very quickly sorted by Laura. Cannot fault her professionalism and customer service and speed of response.
Long time subscriber!
Have been buying the 6 month subscriptions for my dad and grandad for a few years now and managed to mess up the ordering a couple of times, customer service has always been amazing and so friendly. Dad and grandad love their monthly whiskey night! Thank you!
Don’t subscribe. You’ll be let down
Massively disappointing service. Bought the gift box online. Advised my father on his birthday that a subscription gift box was due to be delivered any day. Only to receive an email several days later to advise that they are switching suppliers, so not able to fulfil my order. And when I checked today, their website is still showing as available to purchase the option I’ve been told is no longer available
The perfect way to encounter different Scottish & World Whiskies
I work in the whisky industry and still subscribe to Whisky Me as it keeps me on top of new distillery releases and the vast number of world whiskies that are often hard to keep up with. As a whisky novice or nerd, it ticks all the boxes for variety and it's great to get the behind the scenes info with the live tastings on Youtube. Keep up the dramtastic work guys.
Cannot register account
I received a subscription as present from my son.
Completed the registration form, received a confirmation email, which I clicked on,and then tried to sign in, and was rejected as email or password being wrong.
I tried the forgotten password option but was told they did net recognise my email address in spite of the fact they had just sent me an email to confirm my
email address.
I have tried the registration 3 times repeatedly checking the information but always the same story.
They do not seem to have a number you can phone. so it looks like it will be mails to sort it out forever

I was given a gift and the code received was not recognized.I see from a previous review from someone with the exact same problem that you felt the customer was at fault by not understanding redemption process.It really shouldn't be that difficult

If you’ve been given a present of 6months membership, don’t think of it having any long term value like cash.
I came across mine and opened a subscription and went to check out, only to be told my code was not valid!!
Can’t find any contact details….great disappointment and sorry for whoever spent cash on my gift.

Delighted to be on board with Whisky Me. Great samples so far. Informative tasting notes make it an interesting experience and, unlike some whisky clubs, the products come with brand names so you know what you're drinking. Brilliant!
12 month subscriber
I’ve been using Whisky Me for about 12 months, the subscription service is no hassle, you sign up and the drams arrive each month. I have the international subscription and the whisky’s are always varied but always high quality. The postage packaging is environmentally friendly and you can return 12 used whisky cartons to get a free dram too. Recently a friend bought me a 3 month subscription and Ash was really helpful when I emailed, so instead of me having to cancel my subscription and renew with the 3 month one, they just added it to my account, no problems!

Excellent service
Excellent service, have been with Whiskey-me for over 3 years, a wonderful way to sample a wide range of whisky and then purchase some of the ones I like at a discount.
Have recommended subscription to a lot of friends (and some whiskey drinkers in pubs) all who have said that they look forward to the monthly pouch arriving.

My husband loves good whisky so I ordered a subscription for his Christmas present. He has enjoyed every one of the selections- so much so that I have ordered another subscription for his birthday!
The service is excellent with a prompt reply to every email. This is a young, friendly company and it deserves all the success in the world.

Whisky-Me offers a truely great subscription service
I am into my second year with Whisky-Me and I must say that I really look forward to the satchet arriving each month. It is natual to like some of the whiskys more than others. If I regard any as being outstanding I often buy a bottle and get a discount off the price. Unlike other reviews, I find no problem with Customer Service. If there any issues (I did not receive a sachet recently despite saying it was delivered by the Royal Mail and Whisky-Me sent me another one immediately) they are resolved courteously and without any delay. I cannot fault Whisky-Me. Keep up the excellent service you are providing.

I’ve been with whisky-me all through lock down I look forward to it every month and love trying out various Scottish whisky. There’s only been a couple that I wasn’t keen on, my only problem is that I usually drunk it before the zoom whisky tasting 🤭
