this was over $800 AUD ... and not what I expected
this was over $800 AUD ...I saw this dress on Friday night fashion with Amanda and Jo ... there was a lot of emphasis on cutting for bigger busted women - but I puchased up on the size guide and it is tight. In addition the linen is not "great quality", and I was expecting the sarong edge to be better finished. I will keep it and gift it because I couldnt be bothered going through the return process. But I am unlikely to buy from you again.

Utterly disappointed with the returns and refunds at Wiggy Kit… I have been waiting for a refund now for 15 days …this is still on going… no one returns my emails…. I’m now looking into filing a small claims against them as I have no other choice as no one ever replies to let me know what’s happening…. It’s so utterly disappointing Julie

Cultural Misappropriation
I'm extremely disappointed with Wiggy Kit's handling of this situation. The brand has marketed garments inspired by the traditional West African iro and buba as a "sarong" and matching "gallerist shirt," without acknowledging the African cultures that inspired the designs.
A sarong is a traditional garment originating from Southeast Asia, and the term itself comes from the Indonesian/Malay language. Using that label for clothing clearly inspired by West African attire erases the cultural origins of the design instead of celebrating them.
What is even more disappointing is that numerous people have respectfully raised these concerns across the brand's social media platforms, yet Wiggy Kit has refused to meaningfully address them or give proper credit to the cultures that inspired the collection. A simple acknowledgment and willingness to correct the messaging would have demonstrated respect and accountability.
Fashion is constantly inspired by cultures around the world, but inspiration should come with transparency and credit. Ignoring valid criticism and failing to recognize the origins of these designs reflects poorly on the brand.
I cannot support a company that profits from cultural inspiration while refusing to acknowledge where that inspiration came from.

Not worth the hassle initially - but we are 'in talks' now!
EDIT 1:- since posting the review below, Wiggykit have come back to me to explain that they are unable to locate my emails and ask for more information regarding the problems I had. I have given them a comprehensive reply and it is possible that my problems were IT based opposed to company culture. I have increased my star rating and I will see what transpires next.
Not impressed to be honest. I was looking at two items and certainly on one, I queried the fit/sizing as it isn't 100% clear from the website. Despite being told that I would be replied to in two days, eight days later I still have no reply either to my original email or my chaser. Therefore, I took it upon myself to take a risk and order anyway. No problem, until I got to the payment section and guess what - they don't deliver to where I live! This is strange as they do deliver to further away and I am in GB! So, I checked on their drop down list of 'countries' and found that while certain other areas of GB are listed, mine is not. I then have no choice but to use 'United Kingdom', but then, it won't recognise my post code. After all this messing around, I thought I would use a friend's address as they live in northern England. As I altered the address - wham - the prices increased by about £40/£50 per item. Needless to say I gave this up as a bad job and I may (but then again, I may not) call into the store when I visit LONDON in September! Whether I complete my purchase or not, depends on how Wiggykit respond.

The Perfect Belted Tie Skirt
The delivery of my Belted Tie Skirt was slightly delayed because of Easter but it arrived promptly on Tuesday and I am thrilled with it. A very good weight , perfect fit (size 12) and length . It is just a bit different to all the denim skirts one sees and I am sure my friends are going to ask where I got it from. I would have liked pockets but I suppose I can’t have everything!

Mixed experience on delivery and communication
Ordered in stock item on 23rd March and have not received yet. Sent a number of emails with no response yet from over a week ago. I don’t mind delays but the frustration is in not having any communication and not being able to speak to anyone. Have bought quite a few things over the years and number of other items have been sent very promptly so a mixed experience.

Did the cat get at these??
I ordered the Cuff Jean in deep sage which arrived as usual in a lovely tote bag (quite unnecessary as I have collected a few now, it would be a good idea to ask if you want any more?). Anyway, what can I say about the jeans?! From the waist to the upper thigh, very nice and then they were far too voluminous which is not flattering unless you are pin thin, too short by about 3 inches - I wanted a 'cropped' slightly above ankle trouser but I am 5'10" (which is the same as the model) and they were way shorter than the picture, but worst of all was the fabric, it looked like the cat had got at it, all pulled and bobbled looking. They had to go straight back. Come on Wiggy, I loved your clothes a couple of seasons ago but now they seem to have lost their way and I am not finding anything I like, sad times!!

We’re really sorry to hear that the new Cuff Jean wasn’t to your taste and know how disappointing it is when something doesn’t live up to expectations, especially when you’ve previously loved our pieces.
This style was actually based on a similar design we did before, using the same picked denim but in a different colour, which proved to be very popular and completely sold out. That said, we completely appreciate that this version of a jean just didn’t work for you.
We don’t have the functionality to offer an opt-out service for receiving a tote bag, but it’s something we will absolutely look at for the future as we understand many of our returning customers have collected a few.
We’re very grateful for your continued support over the seasons and truly hope we’ll have something in an upcoming collection that you fall in love with again.

I’m really sorry to say, this company lets itself down by how it deals with returns. The clothes are incredibly expensive, and it’s reasonable to expect good service as part of the customer experience. I’m not sure I’d purchase again unless they had an actual store. Life is too busy already to chase people up.
