This was my first time buying a wig

This was my first time buying a wig. I purchased the Fresh Chic Gabor and received a much cheaper Raquel Welch. They had added the paper Gabor tag and put it in a Gabor box, but the sewn in tag was a Raquel Welch. I was confused because it looked like they had cut the wig to resemble the Gabor wig and the color was close.But I’m not even sure the wig was new. And the closest wig to it was Raquel trendsetter online but it still looked different than that one. Going through the loss of my hair and other life hardships. I was 8 days in and Wig Salons returns they only give 7 days. If the wig was new I lost around 135.00 dollars. I will never order from Wig Salon again. My instinct tells me this was no accident. I was scammed. Please be careful.

Diand G. I see your complaint. I am copying the Purchase Order for the wig ordered. It it, you the see the other GABOR wig ordered that day. Raquel and Gabor are the same company, HairUwear. They sent us exactly what you ordered, promise. We've been online 30 years. 1996. I am sure you got what you paid for. I wish youj would email me - joe@wigsalon.com, so i can try to make some of what you feel wronged about, up to you. or text - 818 423 1533. We wish you would notsay you were scammed. Thats not what happened. You got a wig that perhaps was not ideal for you. COMPANY DOES NOT WANT TO GIVE REFUNDS!!! Firstly, the colors are MUCH darker than what's pictured online. Received item and didn't like color. First Red Flag: Contacted site for RMA. Waited days. No RMA sent. Called company. Second Red Flag: The gal pushed and pushed for exchange, instead of refund. Finally told me what to do with it. Third Red Flag: Wig Salon received item and said my card "couldn't be refunded". They had NO PROBLEM taking the funds but BIG PROBLEM refunding. They even went as far as accusing me of having a fraudulent card!! The emails from said owner were very uncaring and flippant. They now hold both the product AND my $150 and they refuse to understand why I'm upset! The company is a scam and I hope someone scams them as much as they have scammed me.

Trust Pilot users, BEWARE. Yes, This Client did contact us to send back a wig she did not like. This company will refund or exchange within their posted guidelines. The issue was and is - for an unknown reason - the card will not refund online. THIS CLIENT KNOWS THAT . She even suggested that the solution may be a glitch with our service provider specific to AMEX. This is copy/paste from her email to me just now. " MSP (Merchant Service Provider) is YOUR clearing house. I happen to work IT and I KNOW the problem is with one of two things, you're refunding to the wrong credit type OR your Developers do not have the setting enabled to allow refunds for AMEX. However, we were able to refund another AMEX card holder today. So the issue is with AMEX and the card-holder. Mondays are busy. We will try to reach Amex Monday. She has placed claims vs us at 3 other sites as well. And she knows this is a techincal problem - and not one about us not wanting to refund her. The FACT that she wrote I hope someone scams them - well - she is doing that now. We cannot refund her card. It may be a gift card. We will know Monday or Tuesday latest. And the refund is not FULL. We paid $11 to ship and there is $15 wig try on restock fee. Plus we have to see if the wig is okay. No one really looked into that yet. We have been online 27 years. We do things right. This client is out to hurt us without even trying to be through a weekend when banks are closed. Good Afternoon Joseph,

Thank you for reaching out today. As per our conversation I did go ahead and get with my technical team to further look into this refund error for card ending in 3468 processed on May 1st 2023. After doing some further digging into the transaction error we found out the error is originating from AMEX itself, most card brands respond with an "approval" code confirming that this request was received and able to process. American Express cards do not work with this "approval" system. Because of this, your terminal provider (authorize.net) is unable to process the refund requests. I was advised by the Technical Team that the only options as of now is to:
I can submit a rekey request for it to be completed on the back end this has a SLA of 5-7 business days.
It did seem like this was a more recent change within AMEX and is expected to be corrected soon. I do apologize for the confusion. TRUST PILOT - AN AMEX ERROR MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR US TO REFUND - ONCE WE ABLE TO I TRUST YOU WILL REMOVE THIS CLIENT'S COMPLAINT -

“Raquel Welch” ‘Simmer Elite’ Wig

I purchased the “Raquel Welch” ‘Simmer Elite’ wig. I, absolutely, love it! I have purchased many wigs, through “Wig Salon”, but this one is my favourite! It is beautiful!

It is a popular wig, and was on “backorder”, without a “tentative date”, but I ordered it, anyway, and was willing to wait. I ended up getting it, fairly quickly, which was a nice surprise.

I have been ordering wigs, from “Wig Salon”, for about 13 years. I have had great “Customer Service”. I have had good experiences, so will continue to order, from them. They have been very helpful.

Though I order from Canada and been dealing with Wig Salon since 2009, Mr Joseph always gave me an excellent service and fast shipping. Never had to exchange.I love their wigs, the price is right and very professional and cordial service.

Smart Alec “customer service”…

Smart Alec “customer service” personnel, lazy, unresponsive, greedy and unprofessional. Go anywhere else.

Yes I placed an order, PAID FOR IT and sent in a LEGITIMATE return and got back smart alec responses when I asked for HELP. I’m sorry I ever did business with such a greedy company! Didn’t cost you a dime to throw that wig back on the shelf!

Okay! Barb from Wigsalon is the absolute rudest individual I have ever dealt with. I’m a woman going through chemo and about to be BALD and I DID NOT deserve the cruelty I got from BARB just because the wig I chose did not work out. This would have been my first wig!

I asked early on in our email discussion for someone else to help me, ANYONE ELSE but Barb was having too much fun being a WITCH. Barb is nasty, cruel, rude, and I DO NOT TRUST her to give me a refund. I decided on a refund because I am not going to do business with people who are CRUEL. For gawd sake.

Very Happy Customer For 14 Years

I have been purchasing wigs from WigSalon.com for over 13 years. After chemo, my hair never really came back right and the wigs I purchase here help me feel confident and more like myself. I've purchased everything from standard acrylic wigs to very fine European human hair. When I have questions, I'm helped promptly and often by the owner himself - to the point of having snapshots taken of two human hair wigs in the warehouse to help me determine which color was going to work best. I've had one issue in all the time I've been buying there (human hair is tricky because each one is unique!) and the owner worked with me to make it right. You CANNOT beat these prices or the knowledge of the customer service team. I highly recommend this business!!!

Great place to shop wigs.

Everyone was very helpful with my selection of the perfect wig. The hair matched my coloring and the style I wanted. I only wish the shop hours were longer. I will be going back to buy more wigs.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. Joe knows wigs and he's always helpful and insightful about color, fibers, etc. I've not ordered wigs from anywhere else since 2017 when I got my first one from Wig Salon. It's my go to!

If I could give 100 stars I would. In the 5 years I have been wearing wigs, I have probably ordered from or shopped on every wig website there is. But when I discovered Wig Salon, and in particular Joe Estes, I knew I would never bother to look anywhere else or need to. If I’m looking for something in particular but don’t see it on the website, I can call, email, or text Joe directly, any time of the day or night and he’ll get back to me almost immediately. With every purchase, Joe treats me like he is my personal shopper and I am his most important client. If I’m in a rush, he will personally call the vendor and get it shipped out. He is very knowledgeable about wigs and always tries to save me the most money. He’s almost too good to be true.

WS review

WigSalon is the only company that I have complete confidence in.
They have never failed in their service, honesty or quality of product.
Specifically, I am a devotee of Angelica in the Noriko line. WigSalon
has the best price anywhere.
Their hair products are great as well. The descriptions and recommendations they offer as always spot on.

Best Supplier of Wigs

Wig Salon has a great selection of wigs from name brands. The prices are the best I have found online. The wigs are well packed and shipped promptly. When I had to return one wig, Wig Salon handled the return smoothly.

Beautiful wigs, wide range of colours and styles

Beautiful wigs, great prices when on sale. Lots of gorgeous styles, but I've found it difficult to match colours across wig companies. Each has their own colour naming system, and wig colours in pictures are often not reliable. I've been a customer for two decades, so I've learned a thing or two about wig shopping. I always end up back at Wig Salon. My advice is shop the sales, use the VIP code, and be careful with colour matching if you're buying from multiple wig companies. You'll definitely fall in love with the wigs on this site.
