Gretchen was very helpful when my rush order for my daughter's wedding was delayed from the overseas shipper; she suggested an alternate but then the weather tuned so hot shipping was risky. To prevent any damage, WC shipped my wine with cooler packs, a foil lined case, with each bottle individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve to prevent condensation damage to the labels. Super service...and the wine was delicious! Thanks WC and Gretchen!

When I want to buy a wine with a little age on it, or something special, I know Wine Cellerage is who I can turn to. I don't have an extensive collection, and I typically buy bottles not to hold but to drink. But That's what I find so great. If I wanted to splurge an get something VERY special, they have it. But if I want something that has some age and is a good wine, they also have it, often at a great price. I have gotten some wonderful wines from WC, and look forward to enjoying many more.

The process of purchasing wine at the Wine Cellarage was a more than positive experience: the Sales Representative with whom I spoke was unusually user-friendly and suggested wines that met my focus for the purchase of White Bourgogne's. It was a special pleasure meeting Lars, Wine Cellarage's Owner, who was even more user-friendly than the Sales Rep. Although the area of the South Bronx in which the Wine Cellarage is located did not appear to be user-friendly, once I drove into the Cellarage's loading dock, I felt I was in a no frills "Wine Wonderland". Lars, the Wine Cellarage's owner, invited me for a Tasting of White Wines that he was planning on having available to his customers in the near future and elicited my opinions about these wines. In addition, Lars provided me with a sample tasting of a wine that I had purchased as a case. I found this to be an unusually open and friendly approach by Lars who took great pride in his work. I offer up 'Kudos' and High Recommendations for the Wine Cellarage!!

I recently bought two bottles of Ridge 1988 Montebello Cabernet Sauvignon from the Wine Cellarage. I opened one to discover the wine tasted like vinegar; it did not taste anything like it was supposed to, and I fear the wine has oxidized. (I recently drank a bottle of the same vintage, purchased from the winery, and it tasted completely different.)

Edit: The Wine Cellarage heard of my bad bottle and offered to allow me to return it. They sent me a UPS label and I was able to send it back for a refund. I'm sorry the wine was off, but Wine Cellarage had great customer service.

Website easily navigated. Found a top shelf proseco at almost half the price as downtown or even Harlem. Delivery within a few days. Love it!
