I wish I'd done a workstation assessment sooner
Having a workstation assessment was incredibly helpful. It is amazing how I have actually sat my desk working in the wrong way for so many years! Hopefully my new set up will help the aches in my arm disappear now that my workstation is set up in the best way possible. Simple ideas, but hopefully a massive impact.

Assessment and advice on how to work from home safely
Tanya at WorkLife Ergonomics carried out a work from home assessment and was able to suggest a number of improvements to help with working safely, minimising risk of injury, improving posture and general well being.
Throughly recommend.

Great advice
Great advice from Tania on my desk set up and how to change a few things. Also really helpful tips on breaking the day up and exercises you can do in front of your screen. Highly recommended.

For the assessment
For the assessment, I was given a time slot to choose from. The physiotherapist who spoke with me examined my sitting posture and workstation, as well as demonstrating sitting adjustments. They talked to me for about 20 minutes. The case information was even emailed to me. I made the necessary adjustments to my sitting posture based on their advice, and I am pleased with the results. I would suggest the service.

Joanna put me at ease straight away, I did not know what to expect and she explained everything perfectly. I learnt a lot about my workstation and what would work better for not only myself but my colleagues too.
