They do not send you the delivery date, an email a text message nothing. Then you call them, and tell u that nobody was home (not true), they ask to pay the delivery fee again, I get angry, she repeat... Voir plus

NEVER USE WORKTOP HUB

Ordered over 500 pounds worth of items including a tap. The tap that had been dispatched did not arrive. When I rang was told it had been dispatched, but tap was no longer in stock. I had to then source another tap. When I wanted to return 2 items was told that I was outside returns time. When I reminded them that I was let down by tap, and could they as a gesture of good will, over look this was told in no uncertain terms NO. Very disappointed, no customer service whatsoever. I will not be recommending worktop hub to anybody. Very disappointed.

Poor quality. Packaging not proper.

I recently ordered two white worktops and was extremely disappointed with the quality. Both arrived with multiple imperfections — small dents along the edges and surface, as well as visible waves under the laminate. When it came time to cut them, we had to make a frustrating choice between keeping the dents or the waves, as both defects were present in areas we couldn’t avoid.

The only reason we haven’t returned them is because we were pressed for time and had no choice but to work with what we had. These kinds of flaws should have been caught before delivery.

If you’re considering buying from here, I’d recommend checking your items thoroughly on arrival or looking elsewhere if quality is important to you.

Not even 1* they went to deliver a…

Not even 1* they went to deliver a worktop to me without even notifying me but half hour before when they called. We asked if can just be left they said no it would require 2 people to unload out of the van. (Odd but ok) we then said we can come come back but they then said they can re schedule with out any mentions of any charges so agreed. I then get a text from to say to re arrange delivery will cost me £80!!! The worktop it self was £99 and would cost me £140 just for delivery for a £99 bit of work top. I then asked to cancel the order even to though they tried delivered when no one was there. However they want to charge to me the delivery charge and a charge they have made up to return as they have the worktop and not been delivered so should not have any additional charges. I have asked them for what the charge is and how much and now they are ignoring me.
AVOID and would recommend Worktop Express.

I apologise for any confusion or frustration this situation has caused. I understand your concerns, and I'd like to address them in detail.

Regarding the delivery notification, our records show that we sent both a text message and an email on April 8th at 13:27 to inform you about the scheduled delivery. Our system indicates that you opened the email on April 9th at 19:19 and that the text message was also delivered to your handset. We strive to provide ample notice to our customers to ensure they're prepared for their deliveries. We do also inform you in the text and email how many people are required for delivery.

However, I acknowledge that there might have been a misunderstanding or oversight on your part.

Concerning the failed delivery charge, this is in our terms and conditions to cover the costs associated with unsuccessful delivery attempts. "Should the delivery be attempted but nobody is present that can accept the delivery, actual delivery costs will be charged to you, the customer. Please note that the actual delivery costs may be considerably more than you paid during the checkout process."

We try and absorb as much of the delivery charge to keep delivery costs as low as we can. We however cannot do this if your delivery is failed when you have had adequate notice and have opened the email confirming delivery.

We have not ignored your emails, unfortunately each time you email in the email goes to the back of the queue as we deal with oldest first. Someone will respond to you as soon as they get to your email.

Great service

I recently bought 2 worktops and was worried that I needed an extra person to help with the delivery as I am 72 yrs old and disabled. I spoke to Worktop Hub and they were very friendly and professional. My worktops arrived and the driver was exceptional. My worktops are brilliant. Thank you to all concerned at Worktop Hub.
