001 Taxis Avis

I’ve tried to be loyal to 001, but their app keeps letting them down. Today, I was given an estimate of £8.60. No traffic or other delays, but I was charged £17.60. Tried booking return and was told driver was 4 minutes away. After 4 minutes, it changed to 16 minutes. I cancelled, switched to Uber and the same driver was outside.

Beware before using.

The driver never spoke

Early start but driver, Julian, was on time and everything was super smooth.

30 minutes late after saying 1 minute away

Great service. Last minute changes were required by me due to road blockages around LHR. These were met efficiently.

Driver arrived early, spotless car in & out. Air conditioning too, very much appreciated in this heatwave, I was very impressed

Fantastic as always, all the drivers that have picked me up, fantastic, courtesey, over the past few days, & over the past few wks, been with 001 CARS, 4 over 3yrs, brilliant service, & will continue to use you, thankyou 001 CARS.

They came within 6 minutes of ordering a taxi and the driver was so helpful and lovely and the price is amazing

On time. Well driven. Good comms.

Excellent all round

Friendly helpful driver, great drive, clean car WUA

Always use 001 because they never let you down and always turn up on time.

Driver drives farther on purpose for a mile and didn’t take my luggage for me

Great taxi firm

Reasonably priced
Easy booking
Always on time

Abdulhamek was a brilliant driver.

Arrived on time and was super professional and friendly.

Brilliant, always on time, good price.

Booked taxi 3 days before required date which was 23.30 on the 18th of July we were contacted by text at 23.12 to say they were unable to locate me and to contact 001which l did only to be told l would have to wait half an hour, half an hour came and went so l rang again and was told again I would have to wait a further half an hour at 00.10 we cancelled the taxi as we desperately needed to get home, so my wife and l pensioners in our 70s walked half a mile to catch a bus, my son and a few neighbours checked there door cams to tell me no vehicles had come down there road between 22.30 and 23.12
Is this an acceptable service and do they deserve to be in a service which reliability is essential

Great driver. Great smooth journey

We've used 001 Taxis five times in the last week, for visits to different hospitals. Very impressive. Very prompt to arrive. All the drivers friendly and helpful with my wheel-chaired Dad. Central call managers friendly and polite too. Wouldn't think of using any other taxi firm now.
