AAMCO at 3345 Long Beach Road…
AAMCO at 3345 Long Beach Road Oceanside, New York Jasmine and the guys admitted on a recording on my phone that they ruined my car they ruined my dome lights they ruined my locks they ruined my compass they ruined my steering wheel, which doesn’t go up now after I turn the car off
it’s in dispute and I’m gonna win. They also lied up and down, saying that Peter was still the owner because they just exchanged owners from Olympic Car service which Peter owned and I wouldn’t have brought my car in if they told me the truth Peter was a trusted mechanic there for so many years, and I always went to him, but after I got my gorgeous Mercedes I went to max.
I have the receipt order number not only that, the reason why I brought my car in in the first place was to not get a ticket because my inspection date passed. They didn’t even do that and I was moving to South Carolina. I’m 62 years old. I didn’t know to look on my dashboard, but they never even made my car pass inspection. I paid almost $1900 for a complete overhaul and they ruined the electric parts that I described in my car. Do yourself a favor call max who was out of the country at the time 347 418 8201 he is highly skilled w Mercedes and all cars and honest he’s on Lawson blvd

AAMCO Joplin rebuilt my 2020 Chevy Silverado 8 Speed transmissions when no one else could. The dealership said it would take months to get a unit and was going to cost me $10,000. AAMCO Transmissions in Joplin quoted me $7800 and had it done in three weeks. Great service and highly recommend!
AAMCO 14 days in parking lot

Addendum to earlier review:
Just spoke to the corporate office and they are supposed to call with an update this evening. Friday evening. 4:45 PM. The shop is getting ready to close until Monday. They have not even taken the transmission out to diagnose and take pictures to send to Silver rock yet. Monday will be 14 days that Aamco in Chesapeake VA has had my vehicle in the parking lot waiting to go in to be repaired. And it hasn’t even been diagnosed yet.

Chesapeake, Virginia location
Asking to speak to the regional manager
(Mark Soderberg)
I am having to take to social media because I cannot get contact information for the regional manager or headquarters.
Sir, I have had my vehicle at the Aamco location in Chesapeake, Virginia going on 11 days now.
I purchased the vehicle from Carvana and within 24 hours filed a transmission noise complaint with silver rock, the company used by Carvana for vehicle maintenance.
They had me bring it into AAMCO and I played them a video I recorded of reproduction of the noise.
The technician called the next day and said that he found the transmission needed to be flushed. I knew this was not going to be the issue as it’s preventative maintenance and it’s not what’s making the noise.
I went in there the second time with my son, who is a mechanic, and he told the advisors what the problem likely is as he works at the local Ford dealership and works on these trucks all the time.
Silver rock is not contracted with the Ford dealership, so I cannot take it there. As my son is injured, he can’t fix it for me, but he can tell them what’s wrong with.
They have now diagnosed what is potentially the problem. And they may have the parts, but they don’t have anyone to fix it!
I’ve been told this facility is under new management and they only have one transmission tech that they trust to fix this vehicle. But he’s tied up with another vehicle. So it is day 11 and they still have not touched my vehicle to fix this issue! It should not be my issue but the company.
I have asked Silver rock for their help getting this to a facility where it can actually be fixed. I prefer the Ford dealership in Virginia Beach. But that’s not in their contract.
Please contact your Chesapeake facility and light a fire under them to fix it so that I can have the truck that I purchased and finally drive it. Since it has been there 11 days already, I feel this should be a priority. I am going to continue posting reviews to let the public know what is going on until I get my truck repaired.
Aamco morgan hill
Aamco morgan hill. So many issues.
It is a bit of a long story, so I am putting it like a timeline to make it easier to follow.
July- got transmission rebuilt in Texas during move to Cali. Was given a 12mo/12000 mile nationwide warranty
August- brought truck to Morgan Hill location because transmission was whining constantly at about 3k miles. Drove with Rommel, who heard the noise. Was told it was just "breaking in" and truck was fine. Left thinking that sounded wrong, but thought maybe I was being paranoid.
Jan 14 called because transmission began sticking, not shifting properly, and service light kept coming on. Keeps downshifting on freeway. Spoke with Rommel, who said Eric was owner and would call.
Jan 15 Eric calls. Says owner is Rommel. Described issues and told to bring it in morning. Husband drives my car and i use the truck for short trips around town.
Jan16 bring it. Explained issue and drove with tech, who heard whining noise and agreed it was transmission.
Jan 16 told it would be repaired under warranty. Told to bring it in 26th.
21st got stuck in 3rd gear on way home from costco. stopped driving it. Costco is .8 miles from my house.
26th had it towed to Morgan Hill.
Feb 5 pick up 4:40, told it was complete. Still noisy, but now AAMCO is closing so we decide to drive it and see if it shifts well.
Feb 6. Husband noticed hard shifts on way back from work
Feb 8 stuck in 5th completely on the way back from a hike that was about 20 miles from our house. Took video.
Feb 9 got it towed back to Morgan Hill AAMCO. Rommel said the truck was perfect. Showed video of issue. He asked me if I towed anything, i said no, we just went on a hike with our 9 year old on a nice day. He demanded to see the time stamp, I showed him that, he called the builder and they both proceeded to berate me for driving my (supposedly fixed) truck.
That eveningn I was told they fixed a connector with fluid in it and it was fine to pick up.
Called shop in Santa Cruz and spoke to Zack. He said it sounded terrible and he would speak to corporate on my behalf.
Feb 10 called corporate was told warranty would be investigated. Have yet to hear back despite multiple messages. Eric called and said I needed to pick up truck immediately because they have no room. I said I would come as soon as possible.
Feb 11 eric called and told me to pick it up. Said I dont have time till friday. Heard Rommel yelling in background.
Feb13 go to aamco to see truck
Same noise.
Drove with th tech, robert? He heard it, told Rommel the noise I described was there. Rommel yelled at him for quite some time after.
Drove with Rommel. He heard it, denied it was transmission. Said maybe it was power steering or something and it was an old truck. Demonstrated that the noise only happens when truck is in gear so it is most definitely a transmission noise. Was told to "go back to Texas and get a new transmission" (thats on video)
Was told to just go to Santa Cruz even though customer service said it was not an option.
Tried to leave shop. THE TRUCK GOT STUCK IN 3RD AND DIED BEFORE WE WENT A QUARTER MILE!!! Took a video, showed it to Rommel.
Did not get stuck again driving around town with Rommel. Showed Rommel video. Asked him why it is stuck in 3rd and he said he didnt know, he would check foe codes. Drove with Eric. It didnt happen again, but I showed him the video and he said we shouldn't drive it. At this point it seems Rommel is just trying to run down the warranty and get off the hook. We took it home to gather more video evidence.
Feb14 husband took video. Got stuck in 3rd gear on way back from hiking with dogs 3.8 miles from home.
Feb 15
Took video stuck in 3rd gear on the way home from Costco
Feb 16
Called corporate repeatedly. No live person. Have been calling since last week.
Called aamco morgan hill. Told to go to Santa Cruz
Called aamco santa cruz. Told will be called back. Haven't heard yet.
Called aamco in texas. Did not get a hold of Rahim. No one called back.
Called a highly rated transmission shop in Milpitas for second opinion. Told i could not get second opinion without voiding the warranty and he wanted me to try and resolve it through corporate because my situation is most definitely not right.
Don't know who else to call, I've never sued anybody and would prefer not to start.
Picking up a rental car today because the vehicle I am forced to drive due to this situation is not particularly safe in the rain and it is very very rainy this week.

BEWARE OF AAMCO EAST GREENWICH, RI
I went to AAMCO in East Greenwich, RI because I trusted the AAMCO name. Was I wrong! This location will not accept responsibility for their shoddy work, blamed me, the customer. I ended up taking the vehicle to another shop for corrections of their mistakes. I paid twice. The owner promised a refund when I spoke with him on the phone. I brought the sales slip with work that was done at the other shop. They did a complete 180 degree and again blamed me! I want to speak with someone at corporate to let you know what kind of people are using your name! This is a shame that a business would treat innocent customers in such a way. Please contact me ASAP to discuss. I will not let this go.
Stay away from these people.
Where do I begin with this piece of garbage company. The problem and the quality of service is so bad that it would require 3 pages to write. In a nutshell: I got my transmission fixed in Colorado location, was told it's ready, so I flew to Colorado from Los Angeles to pick up my pickup. I was told it was not ready, I had to wait a week to pick it up. By the time I got to Los Angeles, the car started having problems. I took it to Lancaster location, the manager there, his name is Haroon is the worst person you can ever come across. I don't know how these people own businesses. I'm currently looking for an attorney to take these clowns to court.
The location in Joplin MO is a rip off
The location in Joplin MO is a rip off. They take your money and never fix your car. Still having the same issue as when I took it in. Now they are saying that i have to pay them again for them to look and see what they did wrong. Im not paying them ever again just to scam me into paying for more crap I dont need.
Unprofessional idiots.
I had to sit in a waiting room for hours in South Dakota being homophobicly bullied. I emailed corporate in the process to tell them about it and the manager just started taunting me from his office. I will never do business with this deranged horrible company ever again. This company absolutely does not respect its customers.
AAMCO Temecula scam
AAMCO Temecula performed pathetic work on my vehicle which failed one day later. When I brought my car back to the shop they failed to fix it and refused to refund my money. Untrained mechanics and dismal customer service. Never coming back!
AMMCO NEW BRAUNFLS
AMMCO NEW BRAUNFLS, TX 1402 S Seguin Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130-
This review is for this location. i cannot comment on other locations.
Think twice about using this business. I had an issue on the highway and needed a repair right away. AMMCO seemed liked the right place for a repair. AMMCO sorta diagnosis the problem was transmission cooler line came disconnected. They reattached the lines and said everything was fine with the transmission. Turns out everything was not fine. The transmission was leaking. My normal mechanic pointed out the leak a day later. I was told by AMMCO they did a thorough inspection. If the inspection took place they would have caught the leak along with several other things that needed attention. I would give 0 stars but that is not an option.
BUYER BEWARE!
My daughter's car was dropped off on OCTOBER 18th today is DECEMBER 10th! The trans began to slip, we called Aamco in Prospect Park and they said bring it right in. They quoted us a price which we had to finance and said car will be done in a few days. We had to rent a car while waiting for the rebuild. On 6 occasions we were promised the car was done. Earlier this month we were told it would be completed by next morning. My daughter's boyfriend took a uber from his home in Philadelphia to arrive at the shop only to find out the used trans they put in once again does not work. It is now December 10th and fingers crossed the car is promised to be finished tomorrow but we have heard that song before. This transmission, Ubers and car rentals for 2 months have cost us THOUSANDS! When we asked for a discount since we inconvenienced while they tried to put a square peg in a round hole for 2 months, we were told they cannot discount. Oddly enough, I used to work for Aamco Corp Office and that is false info. BUYER BEWARE! Completely unprofessional, lack of communication and honest customer service. We are begging for some assistance from AAMCO Corporate Office to help resolve this nightmare.
BEWARE of AAMCO
I took my vehicle for a FREE courtesy check at 1821 S S Rd 7, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317. After two days of getting no updates, I called and spoke to a female by the name of Zee. She informed me that the battery in my vehicle was dead and that they had to charge it, which took the whole day (RED FLAG). She also informed me that to diagnose the problem, it would be about 4 hours at $169 per hour (another RED FLAG); it does not take that long to put a vehicle on the machine to find out the problem. I thought all along that was what was being done. I was told that she would text me some papers to sign to give them permission to do the diagnostic, and I agreed for only 1 hour at $169.
I called back on day 3 for more updates; Zee informed me that my vehicle was still waiting to be diagnosed and that it would not be done until the following Monday because of Thanksgiving and that they are not open on weekends. The shop is open at 7:30 am, and a message was left on my phone at 5:47 am telling me that she had new information on my vehicle (REALLY!). If the shop is open at 7:30 am, how could they have information about my vehicle before that time? (RED FLAG). I called the shop just to be told that I would have to pay $1195.00 for them to diagnose my transmission. At this point, I told Zee that I would be coming for my vehicle. I requested a printout for the diagnostic they claimed was done. I went home and viewed it, only to find out that nothing was done, and they dated the paper for day number 2, even though they initially told me that nothing could have been done until Monday. I called and spoke to Zee, who was very rude and hung up the phone on me. They also deliberately broke my key fob, and now I can open or close the door of my vehicle unless I remove the key from the fob.
I took my vehicle to another shop, and I got the problem fixed for only $125. The problem was just the transmission pressure switch.
I would advise everyone to get a second or even a third opinion. And please be aware of AAMCO. They are not truthful and will lie to you just to get your money.
As a transmission rebuilder myself
As a transmission rebuilder myself, I recommended a family member to a AAmco transmission shop in Pomona Ca., Not realizing they were not able to rebuild a basic G.M. transmission, that failed under warranty. She returned to the same shop, for warranty repair. After two weeks the trans. failed again. they blamed the engine overheating the trans. And refused to correct the issue, even after i called them myself. I ended up rebuild a transmission and sending it to Calif. from Spokane, Wa... NEVER go there...
They had a promotion that offer a 12…
They had a promotion that offer a 12 month interest free loan for any repair of $750.00 or more. My repair was a lot more than that. I was approved for a loan but the did NOT honor the promotion of 12 months. Deceptive advertising and bait and switch tactics.
My husband had his vehicle there for…
My husband had his vehicle there for several weeks!!! They said 3 times to say the car is ready when he would call. When he went there his car was still hoisted up on the hoister!!! My husband is extremely tactful about this but after 3 weeks I am not. They messed up the initial problem and have to fix it for free. Granted his car is a no longer made and they have to find the right parts. However this is the third time they say it’s ready!!! I am going to leave a reviews in BBB!
Transmission Issues
I came here to replace my Ford's transmission that cost me nearly 8K. It ran fine for less than 60 days until it didn't. We came back to get it fixed under the "warranty" they promised. Warranty being if the mileage drove after being fixed was less than 12000 miles, they'd fix it without cost. That was not the case. They asked for another 3K to fix the transmission per this "warranty" which was not even outlined originally. They even threatened to keep MY car that is under my name, insurance, title and wouldn't give me my key unless I signed a paper agreeing to pay this 3k. The manager was rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, and directed microaggressions towards me and my husband as people of color. They want your money. They are "binding" by mouth only and argued that paper documentation isn't necessary even when people are paying thousands to get their vehicles fixed. The manager boasts that he has 4.6 ratings on Google but on other sites, this place doesn't even measure up. I do not recommend this service at all. There is better people and services out there.
I'll try to make this brief the date…
I'll try to make this brief the date was August 13th. Took a Jeep to figure out where I was losing transmission fluid. Transmission work fine. I had one estimate for a 1900 and some dollars later on it was determined 600 of that was for a oil pan gasket replacement which I did not request another 80 was for a brake line relocation which I did not request. Just wanted to figure out the leak situation and get that fixed well almost 5 days later was told jeep was fixed. That was on a Friday parked it in the garage Saturday morning transmission fluid all over the floor. They're not open on weekends drove another vehicle down there Monday wanted to refund took the cardboard that was underneath the jeep with pictures and showed them the problem the owner chad proceeded to tell me that was b******* also threw around a few f-bombs. Needless to say the discussion never went my way. I asked him how he determined that the jeep was fixed. Asked if they started it to warm up the transmission or even drive it around the parking lot. Crickets no answer just more cussing. Told me the vehicle was too dangerous to drive. So that's why they never checked it. I guess because I didn't want to pay for all the other repairs that I didn't ask for that they didn't check it I don't know. I said could you just put it on the lift and raise a little bit and start the engine to get the fluid moving crickets again followed by more cussing bottom line. This is the last place you'd want to take a vehicle
worst mistake
My 2020 Malibu is in their shop because it had a delay before going into drive, and I told them Chevy dealer would replace it for about 5500 and Mark convinced me that since I drove the car in it shouldn't be worse case scenario. They would charge 1295. To disassemble and reinstall plus the parts so I said go. Once apart they said it would be 6700 To install remanufactured or 5500 for used. GM said the Trans was 2877.+tx and aamco said to install it would be 2374. Instead of the 1295. Bringing the cost to me up to 5,748, more than GM originally quoted me. I'm now stuck using Aamco because of the additional 1295. it would Cost to reinstall the Trans and get the car to JM Chevrolet in Lufkin, which offered to take 500 off If I bring it to him because of how this Aamco on Rayford road is treating a retired senior citizen on a fixed income
