I just rang them for an update and he accidentally took me off hold and they were all laughing at mE. Is this funny is it someone saying they are suicidal and you all laughing

Extremely Slow Processing – Compliance Department is a Nightmare

I opened an account with this bank thinking it would be a reliable option for my banking needs. However, every time I make a transaction, it gets stuck in review, and I almost always have to reach out to customer support for an update. While their support team is helpful, they are powerless—every time, they say, "Let me contact the relevant department for an update."

Having worked in the banking sector, I can tell that their compliance department is the real issue. They request ridiculous and unnecessary documents, like the date of birth of the person I’m sending money to or even their bank statement! This level of overreach is not standard practice and makes transactions painfully slow.

If this company wants to operate in the UK, they need to modernize their processes. Banking is not stuck in the 1900s—competitors offer seamless transactions without unnecessary delays. To make things worse, they randomly freeze accounts for "standardized reviews" without any prior warning or a clear timeframe for resolution. Meanwhile, customers are left without access to their own money.

Until they fix their compliance policies and provide a smoother experience, I would strongly advise avoiding this company.

Missing money

This company is very unreliable , I will never use them , their customer service is next to fraud. I made a transfer on the 12th on January 2025 and they claimed that the money has been paid to the beneficiary account i gave them, they didn't even do due diligence. The money never dropped as the recievers account was a Euro but the money was sent in Naira.....After back and forth with them for nearly 2 months, they kept requesting my bank statement which I gave them but the response didn't change.
I now contacted the bank in Nigeria, they finally traced the money with a code I got from ACE but they advised that ACE should initiate a recall of the fund so they can send the money back to source(ace) for them the refund me as it was a wrong type of account.
I reached out to ACE for them to initiate a call only to get an email that it is not possible with no explanation..I wonder who does that, I was so disappointed because I have used them for years but the way and manner which they treated me is very unacceptable, why would they claim.to have paid out the money to the beneficiarys account when the money was just hanging? now I can't get my funds back because ace will not request a simple recall of funds and the bank in Nigeria won't give it to me because they are not sure if it is for me.....what a horrible experience, I have a feeling they have something to benefit from this mischief....
I will never use them again, based on my experience, I suspect fraud, very unreliable customer support, never use them.....this is not the last of it.

FRAUDSTERS! AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!

Those providing the 5-star reviews here are either from the company, or bots or outrightly fraudulent.

This is the worst money transfer company out there, bar none. They are fraudsters. Once your money goes into their account, they do everything to stall your transfer, refuse to refund your money and send you repeated messages which state exactly the same thing, even though the messages are supposedly from ‘different customer service officers’.

They are crooks and I state this without fear of contradiction. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Like their sister finance firm, they are very fraudulent.

I hope my review here saves someone from potential heartache (depleted pockets) down the line. If you read this and still decide to proceed with them, please be humble enough to share your story of pain here, down the line.

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost . They are scammers I don’t know why this bank is still operating. The first ever transaction that came into the account £200 from my friend. Immediately the money came in they put me on review, blocked me on the in app chat.

Worst experience of customer service…

Worst experience of customer service I’ve ever received. My second transaction on my account got me into a “standard review” s they say. Have them all the necessary details(literally two images) and it’s the coming onto a months now and still not heard an update and every time i call up to ask for an update, all I hear is the same reply days after day after day. Not even joking(proper robotic like). I’m just confused on an institution can just hold your money without a reason, and call it a standerd review, however if you ask them to terminate the account, still I have to go through the review. You’re forced into something you don’t even want to go through. Even if you don’t want to use their products. Not on ace unions watch they are going to suck you dry and clean your bank account be aware people

Sent my family money in which never went through they requested documents in which I sent them they wanted more I sent and now they asking for more which I have sent now all of. A sudden no response of them I have taken the matter to the obdusman and the court I will be takin legal action against them holding my benefits for a review when I’ve showed them a statement for everyone who’s ever sent me money

I’m in absolute shock everything was fine until December 5th when they decided to put my account under review for no reason my wages my child benefits have all been paid into that account and I’ve been waiting over 6 weeks now to find out what the hell is going on and I’ve heard the same reply everyday for 2 months the relevant team will be contacted which is rubbish I’ve made a police report and also contacts CIFAS and all relevant teams to make them aware of this nasty company

Totally unacceptable!!!!!

Been 3 months since I applied rang up 10 times since then and keep getting told that there still setting up my account and I'll get notification sorted soon once open 3 months later still being told the same thing and nobody ever even replies on the live chat in 3 month I have sent numerous messages and there's nobody there to recieve it unbelievable

Sorry to say this is one of the worst bank ever opens the account not even couple of weeks in October till today 28 of November the said my account is under review witch I have lost half of my wages cause of this bad people and then they turn and said that we can not prove our services to you after they made me

the worst card company ever i recieved a money transfer almost a month ago and then was asked to provide more id why not do it when i opened the account so 3 weeks later still nothing then they are asking for screenshots from the person that transferred it always seems to be wrong format as an excuse not to pay so now 25 days later after pestering them all the time they closed my account and wont even speak on the phone to me never again will i trust an asian bank legal advice being sought stay clear away from this mob of cowboys
