Just slow to release my e-ticket and not good customer service

I booked a flight and I got my ticket very quick and the guys were so helpful. All I can say is I am happy with them and will definitly recommend it to my friends.

I booked my trip to birmingham through this. I had a very good expierance. five stars to them

Avoid this company or regret afterwards. Booked my flight after it came up in searches with Cheapflight.com. They have bad reviews for a reason. On cue I received a call after a week telling me one of my flights was no longer available as the airline had cancelled that. Was offered alternative with a 5 hour wait in transit. Having now read their reviews I was reluctant to refuse as I was at their mercy and did not want to have a large sum deducted fro refusing to accept their offer. So reluctantly accepted. Turned out the flight was not cancelled. I then received an email asking me to confirm that I accepted without undue pressure. Strange eh.
I would rather pay a bit more than endure what this company put you through.
So avoid.

Booked with this disastrous company to travel to Auckland using Singapore Air with 2 or 3 hour stopover in Singapore. Tickets never arrived, eventually had to get solicitor involved to obtain a refund. Solicitor said that she has never before dealt with such a rude, disorganised and unresponsive company. Eventually was offered China Southern tickets instead with over 8 hour stopovers. Forced to book direct with Singapore Air costing another £200 due to all the delays with getting the refund.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

I became really worried after reading the reviews after I had parted with my money. I called and true enough I got no reply but tried again and spoke to a very helpful young man, I think, Nick. Who assured me all was well and I would get my confirmation by the end of the first week in September.
End of the day 1st of September all confirmations came through with etickets. So really good no problems and really good prices

Gave me wrong terminal info outward and return, causing stress and extra expense. Asked for explanation (not money) and they were very dismissive, no empathy and blamed airline (after investigation, unjustified buck passing). Then refused to respond. Not a member of ABTA either (IOTA is just for airlines, not travel agents). I will not trust them again.

Booked a trip to St Lucia for a very good price and value for money. The whole holiday was a very good experience and it ran very smoothly. Mita our consultant was superb with booking our holiday! Always book with them and never fail to supply a good service

I booked through this company through Kayak website. I checked that they were bona fide members of Atol before making the booking; however I was a bit concerned that I did not receive a confirmation e-mail from that my flight had actually been booked, then my concern grew as I read some horrendous reviews on TrustPilot website, but after a follow-up telephone call, five days later, they forwarded confirmation to me straight away. I can honestly say that I did not have a problem with this company, and found the staff to be quite helpful. Was I just lucky?

Do not use this company!!!!!

Booked a flight to thailand and never received a booking confirmation email, called numerous times and was told an email was going to be sent. After chasing for 5 days I finally gave in and asked for a refund, they added there may be a cancellation charge so I asked to speak to a manager, he said I would be refunded the whole amount within 24 hours, 48 hours later I was refunded the wrong amount and im still chasing for the rest. Total shambles of a company along side some useless and rude staff

I was redirected to this site from a site which I have used before and until now had trusted.
I made a reservation (2 business class tickets from Exeter to Johannesburg) through Air Travel Experts (ATE) on the 1/8/2017 and £4625.66 went out of my account the following day. I was not sent Etickets or an ATOL certificate, but I was sent an online booking acknowledgment with an Air France booking reference number. Using this on the Airlines website I was able to see the reservation. Over several days I tried to book specific seats, but was not able to, the screen said the reservations were on hold, so I emailed Air France to ask why I couldn’t reserve specific seats.
On the 7th of August I received a response from Air France saying this reservation was cancelled. I tried to contact Air Travel Experts on the number supplied by them but the phone just rang and rang, and there was not the facility to leave a message. I emailed them, but no reply. Air Travel Experts were uncontactable but still had my money, my reservation was cancelled, but I still needed to be on that flight. I therefore went on line and booked directly with Air France and was immediately sent my etickets and a reservation confirmation which enabled me to instantly book specific seats.
I was still unable to contact Air travel experts by phone and still had no response to my query by email. About 2 hours later without any further communication, although they had my phone number and email address, an email arrived with a new reservation number and an attachment described as etickets (I cannot say if these were genuine or not but they bore no resemblance to the ones sent to me by Air France). Air Travel experts could have contacted me at any time but did not, they just went ahead and made a second reservation without consultation or permission.
I eventually managed to get through to Air Travel Experts to ask why they firstly cancelled my reservation (“there was a glitch in our system”) and secondly to say I had already made my own arrangements so why had they gone ahead and made a further reservation without my involvement. I have since been informed by Air France that the 2nd reservation made by Air Travel Experts made on the 7th of August was cancelled “by the system” on the 14th of August and a refund was made.
I have since made dozens of phone calls and sent many emails. It is very difficult to speak to anyone. If you get a name the next time you ring they claim there is no one by that name. I have twice been cut off in the middle of a conversation (I believe the phone was put down on me) although I was talking quite reasonably. I have asked for the complaints procedure several times both in writing and verbally, I have still not been given it.
The situation is now
During one telephone conversation, they offered me a partial refund but were going to withhold £1300 cancellation fee. They said this was what Air France had charged them.
I have told them that I want a full refund but if not the partial refund plus evidence that Air France charged a cancellation fee of over £1300 so that I can pursue Air France for the balance of my money. Air travel Experts said they would not do this I accept the partial refund or I get nothing.
Air travel experts still have all of my money, £4625.66 ! Do not use them from my experience I consider them to be untrustworthy and I am now forced to go down the legal route to retrieve my money. I would advise anyone thinking of using them to read other reviews as well as mine.

Took my money, £587,cancelled my ticket the next day due to an error of over booking.
Took lots of phone calls and emails with them.saying the refund was being processed.
But would not refund me my money.
over Two weeks later just now got the Money back. It is a scam. A con. They get your money and don't want to give it back until They have had it long enough for them to do what they want with it. So unhappy with them.
It's a Con!!!

Disgusting company.

My partner and I booked a flight to Florida with Virgin using their site back in JANUARY. 3 weeks before our flight I was sent an email offering me an alternative flight at complete different times. I called them to ensure it wasn't a scam email and they told me all I had to do was reply back either accepting or declining the flight. I replied back and said no thanks, Im happy with my flight. I received no response and thought nothing more. Fast forward to just a week before our flight, I logged onto Virgin to make sure the seats were all still booked, to find out that I had no flight on there. I spoke to Virgin and they told me that my reservation had been cancelled, but without any reason why. I contacted Air Travel Experts and was met with the most DISGUSTING customer service I have ever come across. The agents were rude, to the point of shouting at me, and tried to be smart arses by getting technical about everything. I never got to speak to a manager. I sent several emails to which I had to keep ringing up to get a response for as I was told I couldn't speak to anyone over the phone, it had to be by email. I did eventually get a refund after copying in Trading standards, however to this day my other emails have been ignored. I even wrote to the top boss via post, and nothing. Disgraceful company. AVOID at all costs. I was lucky enough to find a last minute flight for £100 cheaper each, so in the long run it saved me some money, thank god, and I went direct through the airline, not a pathetic excuse for a company like these! Although I did lose my money for airport parking as I had to fly from a different airport in the end. It seems like this company is ran by just a handful of people who are out to scam you. The excuse for changing my flight was due to a technical issue, and in fact I had never been booked onto the flight to begin with, which was a fat lie as I'd had my seats booked on the plane for months. I wish I had done some research before booking with them, however I used Momondo to reach their site. My family have used Momondo for years, so I was very trusting of who they had on there, I wont make that mistake again. They should be shut down, I cant believe they think its acceptable to treat people this way and then just ignore them.

I booked a flight for my brother from london to dar es salaam with a stop over in amsterdam. When I puchased the ticket, there was no information that the flight will have 2 stop overs (1 in amsterdam and 1 in kilimajaro). As a result, my brother had a long and troubled journey. Had I have known, I would have booked him on another flight.

When I called Air Travel Expert, I spoke to Nick and I have never experienced such poor customer service. The explanation I was given did not make sense and instead of helping, the guy was arguing with me and said "why are you now changing your story". Who says that to a customer!?!? He made it out that I was lying which by the way was of no benefit to me whats so ever!

I will never book with this company again and will also encourage people to think twice before booking your travel with this company!

Air Travel Expert seriously need to review their staff, conduct and provide fair customer service! Also, if a plane is stopping elsewhere even if it is for fueling, passengers need to be aware of this before they book their tickets!

The customer service agent (Kevin) started shouting at me. When I called back to speak to a manager(Virum), the manager automatically defended his colleague and was extremely unhelpful.

I was told on the call that none of my questions could be answered and that I needed to send an email.

I did not receive a response for 48 hours and had to chase up 3 times before finally getting a response which was just as unhelpful as the call I had.

I would suggest paying that little by extra and booking with a different company.

I feel that the service of these customer service agents will result in Air Travel Experts going out of business soon.
