I took this tour before with a group. This time we had a private guide and limo instead of a bus. It was so much nicer and we saw much more. I'm looking forward to another trip to Italy or Greece

Excellent guides and accommodations

The guides were excellent everywhere we went. Informed and enthusiastic. It heightened each tour for us.

We had with A+R the tour China+Tibet (16 days) in April 2025. It was our fourth tour with A+R (other incredible tours were Egypt+Jordan, India, Nepal) and as all other tours before this tour was very well organized, had the most interesting itinerary, very good hotels and perfect arranged food. What was very special for this tour that we had amazing tour guide (team-leader) - Kevin Yang. He is very educated, knowledgeable and made our tour unforgettable. He cared about each of us in our small group of 13 people, shared incredible details about China’s history and China's culture. We are traveling for more than 30 years and visited more than 80 countries, but never had such amazing tour guide as Kevin. If you are looking for a tour in China, I would recommend to take A+R tour (Tibet is a must!), but make sure that you would have Kevin as your team-leader and you will have unforgettable trip!

We had a fabulous trip to the Rome to Tuscany Tour. From the moment they picked us up at the airport to the last stop at the train station. Thank you for an unforgettable Italian vacation. The hotels and the tour guides were exceptional too.

On my trip to Iguazú Falls, Argentina, I was not warned pre-travel that this was going to be a holiday weekend for both Brazil and Argentina. The holiday weekend, cause the garage to be huge, long weights at the border on both sides and ruined part of a relaxing trip. The guide was fantastic, on the second day he Shuffled the schedule around went to the busy place early in first and we had a great day together. He was most informative congenial, and I had a good time walking with him around the fall.

Patagonia and Easter Island Tour with Atacama add-on was a fabulous tour. Lovely, all-inclusive properties were chosen with great food and accommodations. Each of the three locations had wonderful hiking and outdoor options for all levels of physical activity that you can choose, and the guides were knowledgeable and skilled at guiding us through the terrain. The day tours of Santiago and Valparaiso were perfect interludes to nature, and a trip to a winery with lunch was relaxing. All flights were on time, and there was help checking in at each location. Recommend highly!

A+R's actual tours have been excellent, once they commence. We have had some frustration in the planning process, as when we were presented with an unworkable air itinerary for a recent Latin American vacation (e.g., American Airlines changes its schedule and we're suddenly presented with a 40 minute connection time in Miami for a flight to Chile -- from Pittsburgh, in January, when weather delays are likely and de-icing delays are almost certain. Get real! Also our travel agent reports that working with A+R is awkward -- no phone calls, just emails.

We just returned home from an amazing tour of Three Jewels- Buenos Aires+Iguassu Falls+Rio. We often tour with another couple, and this trip was no exception. We had a private tour and added an extra night at Iguassu Falls and tow extra nights in Rio. The hotels were all great and we loved having extra days at the end with no agenda. A&R does a fantastic job getting local guides. “Nanny” in Iguassu was superb and went over and above making the extras we dreamed of happen. The Tango show in Buenos Aires was a little too long for our taste. On our last day touring in Buenos Aires, we would have preferred spending more time at La Boca than touring the Zanjon de Granados, but we thought the caves and cisterns would be more exciting. We had not been to Buenos Aires before, so we didn’t know. The lunch that day was incredible.

Our tour was “Cuba Inside Out.” The itinerary was nicely varied and nicely paced. Our tour Director and all the individual guides were top notch…fun and interesting. Would definitely take another Alexander & Roberts tour again!

We recently returned from an incredible trip to Finland’s Lapland, and it was nothing short of amazing! This was our first experience traveling with Alexander & Roberts (A&R), and we were thoroughly impressed with their expertise and attention to detail.

Each adventure was a highlight in its own right, creating memories we’ll cherish forever.

Our trip began in Helsinki, where our guide, Lisa, met us promptly after security. She was fantastic, offering timely advice to capture snowy photos that evening before the forecasted rain arrived. Her insights added a thoughtful touch to the start of our journey.

Throughout the trip, A&R’s meticulous planning ensured everything ran smoothly—from our knowledgeable guide to the well-organized scheduling of activities at the resort. Their dedication allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the magic of Finland’s Lapland without a single worry.

I had an outstanding experience travelling with Alexander Roberts to Antarctica on the Ocean Albatros expedition ship in December 2024. This trip was a fabulous adventure, seeing thousands of penguins, humpback and killer whales, and amazing scenery. All arrangements were top-notch and the expedition crew was amazing!
