Alexander + Roberts Avis 

This was our first A+R vacation and it did not disappoint. The organization of pickups and drop offs was faultless. Every guide arrived on time and all were friendly and knowledgeable about their part of the world. We chose the deluxe hotels and they did not disappoint and the one on Capri was exceptional. One minor criticism, we were unaware how close Pompeii was to Sorrento and would suggest that be made an option in the package.
Otherwise ten out of ten!!!!

We took the 10 day Italy by rail tour with the cinque terre add on. Every single detail went seamlessly. All transfers, train tickets, drivers , tour guides went off without a hitch. We had no worries whatsoever. The hotels were all very conveniently located and accommodations were great. Room in Venice was a bit tight but you’re not in your room much! We were upgraded to a suite in Florence which was a lovely surprise. The guides for each tour were amazing, so knowledgeable and just great people. We would not hesitate to book again with Alexander & Robert’s.

Australia Tour in October. Very great. Included the places I wanted to go. Tour guide was very accommodating and really wanted to give us all a great experience.

It was the best trip ever, planned very well! We had the best guides on our safari adventures and felt very safe on our trip to Tanzania. Only change I’d make is updating clothing suggestions.

The detailed level of planning for our Egypt and Jordan trip was amazing. The guides were knowledgeable and provided the right level of detail for all the sites.
The hotels were stunning. We felt pampered and valued every step of the way.
The Nile River boat, Historia, was beautiful. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience.

Travelled with A and R to Peru and Italy. Experienced travel planners provide excellent customer service from start to finish. Considered our mobility issues to make travel comfortable for us. Every detail covered, planned for, executed. Selected accommodations at prime central locations to maximize enjoyment of our visit. Local drivers and guides all courteous, pleasant, and knowledgable. Excursions offerred all very enriching. Definitely recommend A+R. Will travel with them again!

Outstanding trip from beginnig to end. Our guide Kathy and driver Jesse were extremely knowledgable and helpful. It was interesting to learn about the native culture and land. Hotels, restaurants and activities were great. Debbie from A&R was extremely helpful. Thank you A&R for a wonderful experience and will travel again with you in the future!

This trip was amazing! It is the perfect mix of small group (5!) and independent activities. The guides in both places were so knowledgeable and obviously love sharing their country with visitors. The Rainforest was so much more rewarding than I had expected. I enjoyed it as much, if not more than the Galapagos! The properties we stayed at in each location were very different but outstanding and nicely reflected their location. I was met at the airport and everything was managed to make sure I had a wonderful trip!

Most all of the accomodations were great. Guide were knowledgeable.
We were on the Safari in Kenya and Tanzania.

Italy by high speed rail. Rome, Florence and Venice. Every transport driver was friendly, timely and courteous. Was such a great experience of being escorted and transported on all transfers so no worrying about finding and hiring our own transportation. The small group guides were the best. Hands down better than Viator ones. Our guides told a story, not just spewing facts. First class properties were comparable to Hampton Inn in USA. Italo high speed trains were easy to board and ride, comfortable seats, clean, snack and beverage service. This was our first visit to Italy and first time using Alexander and Roberts. We will be using A & R again and again if the experience was as good as this time. Highly satisfied, highly recommend.

Alexander & Roberts thinks of everything from booking the trip with them to getting you home! The airport transfers went smoothly even with a delayed flight. The Tour Directors made the experience memorable by adjusting the itinerary to enhance our experience. The places we stayed were phenomenal. They were all unique offering a variety of experiences.

This trip required a lot of detail with all the transportation, scheduling, permits getting into the sites etc. and Alexander & Roberts took care of everything. The hotels, guides, and transportation were all top quality and all of the sites we went to were outstanding. If you had a problem or needed something special, the guides went out of their way to help you. You could enjoy the trip with very little stress as you aways felt confident that Alexander & Roberts had taken care of everything. Because they only do small groups it makes the trip much more enjoyable.

The transfers and connections went smoothly. (except for one) The guides were very good. We never felt abandoned. One small glitch on our departure to the airport our driver came 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. He wasn’t very patient so he left and we had to take a cab but A&R reimbursed our $ .

Alexander and Roberts arranged a spectacular family trip to Sicily and Southern Italy. Transportation was generally seamless, with one misunderstanding, hotels, some our choice were bespoke, and guides were always knowledgeable and helpful. Our Family plans to use their services again in the near future. Well done!

EVERY moment and detail of the Kenya and Tanzania trip was first class and, as advertised. Not one disappoint or problem. This was a bucket list trip I had been planning for years and each day was better than the last! Almost impossible to explain. Great guides, drivers, lodging and food over the top
amazing. Not one bug in September. Close up experiences with the animals. Saw all of the Big 5 thanks to A&R booking us a very personal experience with the last 2 white rhinos in Kenya in the wild . Brings tears to my eyes.

A+R excels in every aspect of travel. Their staffers are ultra professional and accessible, providing comprehensive, no-surprises pre- trip information. A+R tip accommodations and guides are consistently outstanding. Our A+R trips to South America and Africa were complex two-week itineraries, with multiple in-country flights, border crossings and guide handoffs, but everything went like clockwork. We will definitely travel with A+R again!

We booked Italy by Rail and did the private option so we could add a day in each of the locations including the pre-trip extension to Sorrento. We selected the mid-range hotels which were very comfortable and well located. The included and purchased tours had high quality tour guides. We selected the tours that had the most value in each city and supplemented with outside tours that we booked directly. We had great support from the local call center upon arrival as our terminal was different than expected. We were quickly connected to our driver (which we had upgraded to a private car service). The pre-tour information was extensive and we only had a couple of minor errors which did not impact our tours. We are looking to use this approach with A&R again - perhaps next time Spain?
