Alexander + Roberts Avis 

This was our second trip to Africa with Alexander & Roberts. The itinerary, the Wilderness Camps, the guides, the in country flights were all superb. The safari experience in each country was amazing and most memorable. .

Itinerary was well planned. Guide was terrific, met everyone’s needs. Hotels were very comfortable and in great location.
Food was delicious. Well priced for all that we did.
5th tour with A&R and never disappointed.

Experienced guide. China is overwhelming in itself but a dedicated guide makes it extraordinary.

Alexander+Roberts has the art of traveling down to a science. Everything from their packet of information that they send you to review and be familiar with about the place you are planning on traveling to before your trip to the great service you receive from the staff connected to Alexander+Roberts (staff at the headquarters in NH, tour guide, bus drivers, etc.). I can't say enough about how wonderful our tour guide was. She sets the bar for tour guide excellence. The hotels were first class on every level-very clean, comfortable, located in great locations, great amenities, safe, with helpful hotel staff and a wonderful breakfast every morning. The places we visited were amazing. I have traveled with other tour companies internationally in the past. However, my husband and I decided to try Alexander+Roberts for our trip to Japan because of the reviews I read along with what was included in their trip versus other travel companies. Let's just say my husband and I were NOT disappointed. I would definitely travel with this wonderful tour company again. I would recommend Alexander+Roberts to family and friends wishing to travel with a tour company. In fact, I did recommend them to my travel agent at AAA.

Great guide and excellent accommodations!

My husband & I booked a 10 day trip in Turkey, and it was an absolutely terrific experience. The itinerary was exactly what we wanted to see, but the magic was in their local team.

Our tour guide was a Turkey native, and knowledgeable in all aspects of the country: historically, geographically, politically, economically, as well as the major religions and religious history. He was personable and friendly, and read our small group of 12 just right - e.g. when we were tired; when we could push on.

At the end of our trip, my husband took ill with pneumonia. The luxury resort that A&R had us booked with had a nurse on staff, who examined him and summoned a local doctor who happened to be at the hotel seeing another guest. My husband was taken to the nearest hospital and admitted for what turned out to be 6 days.

Meanwhile, the local A&R team booked me into a lovely and close-by hotel, who took care of all my needs. When it was time to check out, the local A&R team got us a car & driver to take us to the airport. They even delivered some luggage I had left at the hotel in Istanbul, in anticipation of staying there one last night before going back to the U.S.

While my husband was recuperating in the Turkish hospital, the A&R operations manager in the U.S. reached out to me to make sure that we were getting everything we needed. And we were!

We are so very happy with A&R, and highly recommend them as a travel partner. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent tour guide, excellent hotels,

My wife and I have taken A&R Tours to six countries, and twice to Japan, we have always had a terrific experience.

This was my 8 or 9th time traveling with A+R, we used to travel with them when they were GENERAL TOURS. Never really disappointed, because not only do they take care you while on your trip they listen and adjust their products based upon our reviews and feedback. Since I have been with A+R I have seen consistent changes made according to customer feedback, what more could you ask for? TBH, there are always hiccups when traveling, not everything will be perfect and not everything will always be your liking. But with A+R be assured that they will adjust, work with you and best of all make sure your next experience is even better. Nowadays, all one can ask for is that a company always tries to improve its client's experience. This is why my experience with A+R is always excellent. This trip was AUSTRALIAN EXPLORER, with a DUBAI STOPOVER and 5 nights in BALI on the way back to the USA. The Aussie trip was with a small group of 15 and, our tour guide was phenomenal! The other two parts of our trip were private and totally customizable. We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and A+R will be seeing us again next time we decide to give in to our wanderlust!

The whole experience was fabulous! Hotels were beautiful, guides were informative, and very helpful. Our experiences were very varied, and worthwhile. The trip was more than we ever expected it to be!

Our Costa Rica tour guide Luis Gonzalez was outstanding. He attended to every detail in a most hospitable way.
The entire week’s experience exceeded our expectations in all categories. We also appreciated the inclusion of 3 meals a day and opportunity to order from menus on most. The lodging facilities were luxurious including beautiful resort surroundings.

Fantastic trip. Our Egyptologist was the best; knowledgeable, great personality, knew the best times to visit the sites to avoid crowds.
We were able to see all the sites listed in an intimate way.

The small group was great. Our regional tour guides were really enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area. Everyone communicated well and made sure we knew what was planned.
