Don't order online. They use Allied Express to deliver products. Who won't deliver your items in any timely manner. Buyers beware. Go instore or else....

Absolute trash product and pathetic service

Anaconda is a joke. I have been sold two defective beach trolleys in two weeks. The first had a handle that disintegrated and stained my hands black, and the replacement was broken straight out of the box with a wheel that won't even click in.

The quality of this gear is bottom of the barrel, but the "service" is even more insulting. Despite selling me two broken units in a row, the staff at flat out refused to reserve a working replacement. Even worse, because their stock is low, they expect me to drive all the way back just to "order" a new one, and then drive back a fourth time to pick it up.

They clearly have zero shame in wasting a customer’s time and petrol. Do not set foot in this store if you value your money or your sanity. They sell literal junk and then hide behind pathetic store policies when it fails. Absolute disgrace.

Arrogant Staff Member

Went to Anaconda Launceston to get some shoes to wear while Kayaking. Purchased the Kayaks from Anaconda a few weeks ago and sales person was great BUT today while trying on the shoes a staff member was bringing stock in near where we were trying on the shoes. My wife when returning the shoes to the rack could not remember where she put the hanger as we were trying to keep out of the staff members way.
When he passed us he shouted to us to put the hangers on the shoes before returning to the rack, before he went out the door.
When he came back we tried to explain that when my wife went to put the shoes back the hanger was not there but found it when she came back to where we were trying on the shoes. He said he didn't care and I saw YOUR WIFE put the shoes back without the hanger.
Again we tried to explain it was just misplaced but he still wasn't happy reiterating that he saw the shoes go back without the hanger and was becoming hostile.
I asked him to calm down as it was an honest mistake. He said that if we didn't like it we could leave the store as he was the store supervisor.
With that we said he was being rude to which he called us ADULT CHILDERN and to leave HIS store.
What I can't understand having being in the customer service industry for many years, is Staff have a right to be treated courteously so to customers but obviously the training of this at Anaconda is lacking for this Store Supervisor to be so hostile.

Purchased an item for my son for Xmas…

Purchased an item for my son for Xmas $499. The item lasted once and stopped working. I was informed by a staff member at Anaconda. I could bring it back for a replacement or refund. Upon returning to the store I was informed the item needed to be sent away for further investigation before it could be refunded.
A few weeks later, I was contacted and told the item had come back in or I could come and collect a refund. Half an hour later another Store member called me and asked me when I was coming in to get my refund. Once I got to the store, I was told there is your new item and that I was not entitled to a refund. I have contacted head office ( customer care team ) three times in the last week with no result. I have now contacted Albion Park store and spoken to what sounded like an uneducated manager and had to remind him of his policy refund that is on the website. After Lachlan.( store manager.) was flustered, it informed me that it was not worth getting into an argument over and he? He is not going to get into detail about explaining the process. All I ever wanted was my refund in the first place. Nothing but a waste of time. I think these managers need to step aside.

WOW a company that wont even let you look at their website without making you use their intrusive SPYING cookies.
That's a good enough reason to boycott them.

Order never received and no help

I placed an order 2 and a half months ago and it never arrived. I’ve reached out to Anconda a dozen times via email and otp and they have continued to fail to help me. I definitely would not recommend shopping here.

Anaconda should use more reliable delivery services!
I purchased an item online almost 3 weeks ago - it has not arrived. No updates from the courier business Aramex or Anaconda. I have called Anaconda and have sent emails -apparently there is nothing they can do. No one is taking responsibility. Aramex isn’t responding. They could send another item with a different courier for example and get more reliable couriers moving forwards. I came to learn that Aramex has pretty bad reviews too. Never again.

Do blow up tents only last 2 years

Bought a blow up 2 room blow up tent for my 8 year old grandson 2 years ago . It’s been used 3 times . Blew it up to check on it for next adventure and the seams have split on the top and it’s now unusable . It’s 2 years old used 4 times is this usual

Worse delivery service

While their physical stores are OK, their online store delivery service is shockingly bad.

They use the worse shipping company in all of Australia to deliver parcels (A
Aramex). They only deliver Monday to Friday during working hours which makes it impossible for working people to receive their parcel. Unlike Australia Post, Aramex has no local parcel lockers or any arrangements in Mandurh to drop off at a local BP gas station or some other close place to pickup after hours or on weekends. They return packages to Welahpool that is only open Monday to Friday during regular business hours.

Both Aramex and Anaconda have outsourced their customer service abroad, and any interaction with them yields no solution . I have been trying to get my parcel for 2 weeks with no solution in place as every email or phone interaction starts from scratch completely disregarding all previous discussions. It’s a total waste of time.

I may have no choice but to file a credit card dispute and get a refund as nothing else seems to work.

We recently purchased a car fridge from your Albury Store. We found your sales assistant Audrey to extremely helpful and polite. It was such a privilege to be served by such a polite, knowledgeable and helpful young person. Thank you Audrey.

The click and collect process online…

The click and collect process online was easy but I didn't get a reply as indicated that I would, by email, for the collection. I had to ring up and be advised that the item was ready for collection. Now the click and collect section of the Townsville store is just indicated by a small handwritten cardboard sign at the very back of the shop near the auto section as I found out after tracking someone down to ask. The process of collection from there was smooth.

I purchased a pair of solomon hiking…

I purchased a pair of solomon hiking boots online and I am very dissapointed, unlike the ones you can purchase in store the size is wrong and they have no water proofing at all, I am very dissapointed with your online gear and service

Customer service

I ordered ASICS gel shoes. Got sent Salomon shoes which I kept anyway because they were my size. Tried to review my purchase with anaconda. They took my review down because it didn't meet their standards. WTF
