AO Avis 

I bought a tv from AO. Within days the picture faded when switched on. I tried to explain to the BOT. It told be to notify the manufacturers. Why should I have to do this when AO were the company I was dealing with ?

My new American fridge freezer was delivered today and I paid for the old one to be taken away with the packaging. The men were not happy with the size of my old one and asked me if I told them on the phone how big it was. No I didn’t because they didn’t ask
Had trouble getting it out of my bungalow but eventually after breaking a picture frame and the glass in it Not a very good experience Not sure if I would use ao again

Cancel AO care for plan
Want to cancel AO care plan as not waiting three weeks without washer dryer. My BEKO washer dryer does not work keeps powering off as Bluetooth connection keeps showing. I have never used Bluetooth as it never worked the app from get go. They sell a washing machine that does not even connect to app as Bluetooth - false. They connect with you after sales team to trick into insurance and the waiting for the engineer is almost a month. When I it was installed they couldn’t be bothered to put legs on either and had to refund me. The washers here never last two years so I’m not buying another. The after team insurance I have callles to cancel as don’t have the appliance anymore Infixable hang up or never answer. My experience was a real disappointment! From the day of delivery Iv had it fixed twice as issue with temp and drying even with four towels in a machine. Will not use them again or buy BEKO!

AO do NOT price match..don't be taken in by false advertising and waste your time as have just done with Karl.

we have an offer with LG of £2754 but their call centres are a headache and we want earlier delivery.. we spend 45 minutes with Karl and his price is no where near the price match ! £3123 £369 more ! I questioned why waste our time is you don't stand by what you advertise ?? he had no response bar send in a written complaint . it's false advertising and we have the offer from Lg on a snap shot so will wait this out . My advise is not bother to price match as it doesn't exist ! VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FALSE ADVERTISING .BE WARNED .

Bought a dishwasher with installation/removal/ disposal after having a positive experience previously with a washing machine purchase. This time however a complete disaster with removal being halted as team could not undo connection….my son came over and did it in 3 minutes flat !! The pipes and lead would not reach old connection points so dishwasher was left uninstalled. My son bought the necessary piece of pipe and extension lead and finished the job. This will be the last time I use AO.

Caught between Beko and AO. Engineer advised that fridge freezer was probably broken on delivery. Delivered Fri 12 April 24. Called AO Sunday 14 April 24. Engineer visited this morning Wed 17 April 24. AO have advised that the engineers report will take 24 hours to show on the system. Engineer advised the report will show in an hour. We are left with a faulty not fit for purpose fridge freezer. Readers top tip: Avoid AO / Beko. Hopefully we can get a full refund and shop somewhere else. The customer does not seem at the centre of this business. Disappointed but not surprised.

I paid over 3.5k for 7 kitchen appliances when I refurbished my kitchen. I would have given (and did in fact give) 5 stars UNTIL a fault caused my Hoover washer/drier to leak all over my newly decorated kitchen not just once but TWICE as I was silly enough to believe it was a one off and allowed them to replace it which in all fairness they did quickly. The problem started once the second machine leaked and wanting to reject it and purchase from elsewhere, they refunded me and I put in for compensation to get the kitchen redecorated. They absolved themselves of all liability though and every person promised me a quick resolution from Hoover which of course was not forthcoming as they have ignored me despite my putting in a claims form and estimates as requested by AO over 6 weeks ago!

Since researching and seeking advice, I found out that According to The Consumer Act it is the retailer who has liability so I have had no choice but to now give notice to AO of going to the small claims court if the matter is not resolved, which I feel is very unfortunate for a company as large as AO. I hope they will rethink their position and do the right thing in the next 10 days, at which point I am happy to review the score given today otherwise it is the SmallClaims Court here I come! Customer Service should be great at every stage and not just when things go well AO where is your loyalty to your customer and the law?

Slick, professional delivery and installation was worth every penny. Guys were friendly and efficient. Installation met legal requirements and old (extremely heavy) range cooker together with packaging removed. Love my new Stoves range cooker. Thanks guys and thanks AO.

De har et stort udvalg, men da jeg ville have hjælp virkede de meget arrogante og peget i retningen hvor jeg skulle gå hen, men til trods for at jeg fortæller at jeg har kigget på de hylder og ikke kunne finde det Toilet skrue sæt, var der ingen hjælp at hente,..
Jeg så en anden medarbejder ved en anden hylde række og spurgte om han kunne hjælpe, hvilket han gerne ville, tak for det.
Jeg skulle så betale hvilket også kan være en udfordring... alt I alt en meget dårlig oplevelse de kunne lære et og andet af Carl Ras.

Just bought a Fridge freezer online, with their complete package to deliver, unpack, unplug old unit, plug in new unit, remove all packaging and recycle old unit, which all sounded perfect.
After payment online, received several emails confirming purchase, delivery dates etc plus an email that states old unit must be defrosted entirely otherwise extra charge, or cannot remove, recycle.
How AO expects customer to defrost a fridge freezer entirely, which would take at least two days, before the new unit arrives, all the food would be ruined.
There was NO mention of this requirement in their recycling service prior to payment.
Called up to query, told it's to prevent water leakage in the van etc, but what about all our food in the freezer?
Cancelled order.
Went to another supplier (Indian dish), their website recycling service clearly states; prefer unit to be defrosted, however if not possible, no worries, they will seal the door and take the old unit away.
That's what I call service from a company that understands customer's needs.

Bought 11 kitchen appliances from AO including 3 Hotpoint products. All 3 Hotpoint products failed within 15 months and cost me £300 to get repaired as they had gone past the initial 12 month warranty. AO and Hotpoint don’t care and there after sales care is very expensive. Definitely avoid Hotpoint products and don’t expect any help from AO … unless you pay up!

I bought an expensive smeg toaster from ao. Withinin two weeks it was tripping out our RCD. I will never use ao again. Thrown crappy item away now.

I bought a new cooker from AO. It was delivered and installed on the day agreed by two very efficient and courteous guys. I always go to AO if they have the kind of appliance I'm looking for as my experience with them has been very good each time I've bought from them.

Ringer og spørger efter en reservedel. De tjekker hos leverandøren. Den kan godt skaffes hjem.
De kræver at jer møder op i butikken for at betale for den, før de vil bestille den hjem til mig.
Da jeg kommer op i butikken, regner jer med at jeg bare skal betale, og så ellers er videre. Ender med at bruge over 1 time i butikken. Den første jeg snakker med, tager armene op, og helt demonstrativt siger at det kender hun ikke noget til, så henvende henvende jeg mig til person nr 2, der sender mig tilbage til den afværgende. Hun er nu i en tlf. samtale. Så må vente 10 min. Før hun er klar igen. Efter lang tid, ender jeg med at få lov at betale for min vare, hvor de med en masse mærkelige gebyrer tager 700 kr. i fragt!
Dagen efter modtager jeg min pakke, hvor der mangler en del. Så nu kan jeg starte forfra. Og vel betale 700 kr. i fragt igen.
Det var min første gang som kunde i det elendoge foretagende. Og hvis jeg kunne finde varen andetsteds, foretrak jeg det.
En helt igennem elendig butik.

I entered a negative report about AO on the 15th of January 2024 . at that time, I had attempted to place an order but was unable to do so. I received a phone call from Mike at AO, He told me to contact their finance department to sort the problem out. Neither company has managed to help. On 12 Feb AO sent an email to state that they would be collecting their £100 direct debit on 22 Feb. Question is as I still have had no help is this a breach of contract.? as they are not keeping their obligation to me.Talk about a company that only wishes to give its customers the best experience.

So sold me a washing machine ,dishwasher,Tv all with an insurance been paying the insurance for 7 years
When I want a repair to my washer. Rude,ignorant people dates mixed up etc I took a day off work !
Absolutely useless save your money don’t let them sell you insurance
