Wish I had checked this website before I spent $19.95 for shipping of a "free" Aqua Cat Water mat. Emails said it was on the way, but the tracking site never got beyond "the electronic product label has been received." After 90 days, the tracking number expired. 17TRACK says that "It's been unusually long since your package was shipped. Please visit the carrier's website TRANSFLY for more info." The TRANSFLY website indicates that if a shipment has not been delivered within 60 days, it is considered lost. I emailed "aqua-cats.com" TWICE to cancel the order and request a refund with no response.

I am dubious this will appear, as I find it amazing that Aqua Cat has truly received 5 stars. It appears to be the classic "bait and switch" sales technique. They indicate free product due to overstock (but listen to the sage advice about things rarely, if ever, being truly "free"). Yet, when checking out, there are pop-up messages to spend money on a more durable, scratch-resistant model. Essentially, the free product is likely to puncture with cat play.
Aqua cat took a while to arrive (ordered it in early Nov.) and it arrived Dec. 20th. What I received was a "Baby Slapped Pad". It appears to be a similar product, rebranded for cat play. There were only 3 floating shapes that could be added to the toy.
When I tried to access the 90-day money-back guarantee via a link supplied, there was a 404 error.
So, all-in-all, not a good experience at all.
The product source appears to be potentially off-shore (Yanwen), and the warehouse address was 1215 E Wachington Blvd., Montebello, CA.

I’d give them a zero if I could. Aquamat was a piece of crap and my cats didn’t even like it.
The companies return policy is nearly non existent and I have yet to get back my 30% that they’re willing to give. Horrible customer service and product!

Terrible customer service. No response from customer service at all when I emailed them repeatedly about wanting a refund as they claimed to offer a 90 day money back guarantee. But no one has ever responded.

Terrible customer service...they sent me a defective product and I have been waiting for over 2 months to get a refund. Have sent numerous emails and no response back after they said they would give me a refund. Plus way overpriced when I see them on Amazon for 1/3 of the price cheaper. Do not believe what they say in regards to returning defective stuff. And this isn't even a US company.

Made it seem like you couldn’t check out without upgrades (prices not visible) resulting in $107 purchase before shipping. That is some shady shit. Tried to cancel. Unsuccessful. Contacting credit card company.

this is just a toy and not durable at all. My cat mat lasted only 30 minutes .terrible product and useless to get in contact for the 90 day refund

Like the others, I spent more than expected due to "upgrades" during the ordering process. Every email has been ignored -- attempting to cancel the order, trying to remedy the holes that were in the mat when it arrived. Don't waste your money!

Aquacatsusa is a total scam. They are sending product which are defective, damaged and unusable. They are offering zero charge for the product but charging $18 for postage. The product is not worth a penny. Do not buy from their website. I bought stuff and despite many emails I have never heard from them. There’s no way you could return it. You will take a loss.

The product is not as described and the company won't respond to email inquiries about it. They state that it's claw-proof and durable but it's not. I keep my cats claws trimmed but within a half hour of playing it was losing air. I contacted the company 3 times but they haven't bothered to respond. What a rip off.

I asked them to cancel it.
It was not canceled, it was delivered.
The way the "upgrade" prices were offered was unclear.
I was charged much more than than i agreed to.

I ordered 2 of these mats for my cats. Yes, they played with them, but they aren't "nail" resistant like they claim. I ordered one of each size. The outer rings were deflated after 1 day and they both started leaking water after a week. Don't waste your money on these.

The “AquaPaws Water Mat” was delivered in a small, unidentifiable package. Inside was the folded up mat, but no instructions or anything else. The air ring at the top was fine, but the plug for the main water mat was difficult to get sealed. Our cats are not declawed & despite the product description of being durable & scratch resistant, it began leaking almost immediately. They did get to play & enjoy it for a few minutes though. This is such a cute idea & I hope that the company will substantially improve the quality of this item to increase it’s durability.

I had no contact with customer service as I only paid for shipping during a stock reduction sale.
