I used the Arnold Clark app to order…
I used the Arnold Clark app to order wiper blades, i put in my reg number and was advised that a certain set would fit my car. I ordered them, when they arrived the y did not fit my car. The car named on the box was a different model to mine.
I emailed customer services and told them my predicament, I received an email, saying that they didn't know how I had ordered them as they had put my reg in and it didn't exist! Basically calling me a liar. I sent a screen shot of the app, they told me to return the wipers, but I would ha e to pay postage, again. I informed them of the Consumer protection act , they sent me a returns label.
7 days on and I still await my refund.

I bought Shell oil made in Germany and under the label was another label which says made in Turkey. I have plenty of evidences (photos) and I will write a very bad review about this.

Customer service could be better
Product and pricing were fine, but the customer service experience was disappointing enough that I won't be prioritising Arnold Clark Autoparts again.
I placed an order on a Sunday and shortly afterwards realised I needed an additional item. I emailed the same day requesting cancellation so I could reorder everything together and save on combined delivery. The order was not cancelled and was later shipped after the bank holiday period.
When I contacted customer service to explain the situation, I was told that my email had not been received. I asked whether a £4.99 goodwill discount could be offered so I could place an order for the additional item and effectively have free shipping. This was refused, and I was told there was nothing they could do, both via live chat and again through social media.
While I understand there are policies in place and that the order had already been dispatched, I found the lack of flexibility disappointing. Given I was attempting to place an additional order rather than cancel entirely, a small goodwill gesture would have been a reasonable way to retain a returning customer.
Instead, I placed the additional order on Amazon. I wasn't entitled to the discount code, and that's fine, but the experience overall felt very rigid and not particularly customer-focused. It has made me reconsider using them again in the future.
