Faultless service, clear pricing, full insurance, no hidden fees. Only rule is simply same fuel level on return. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours landing in Chania at 2am and Nick stayed long past his usual working hours to pick us up from the airport on a Saturday night/ Sunday morning! The lady who was there when we returned the car was so friendly and kind. A true family run business with a personal service. Highly recommend using their service.

AutoRentals provided fair and clear pricing with full insurance cover, a fair fuel policy, and no hidden extras unlike many other providers that may initially look cheaper. That peace of mind, and avoidance of any up-selling at the airport was definitely worth it. Met at Arrivals and driven to their office for a fast and efficient handover. The car was clean and in really good condition, and we had no problems with it over two weeks.

Most importantly, the staff were very helpful, friendly, and honest.

Hatten uns für 6 Tagen einen Mitwagen hier gemietet. Alle Versicherungen waren im Preis mit drinne, das einzige was nicht versichert war, war das Ein- und Ausparken. Es war alles extrem unkompliziert, wir wurden am Flughafen mit einem Namensschild abgeholt und der Koffer wurde vom Mitarbeiter geschoben. Übergabe war unkompliziert, Tankdtand wurde ungefähr aufgeschrieben und es war keine Kreditkarte oder Kaution nötig. Wir hatten einen Kia Picanto Automatik. Dieser hatte einen Kilometerstand von gerade einmal 2350 Km. Da uns einer an den Spiegel gefahren ist, haben wir das Unternehmen kontaktiert und das war alles sehr einfach und wir mussten uns um nichts kümmern und konnten direkt weiterfahren. Das Auto war sowohl von innen, als auch außen komplett sauber und in gutem Zustand. Die Abgabe am Hafen war auch sehr unkompliziert. Ich konnte noch in Ruhe meine Handydaten aus dem System entfernen und man hat uns sogar noch zum Terminal von unserem Kreuzfahrtschiff gefahren. Bei Mietwagen habe ich immer Angst, dass man betrogen wird, das ist hier aber absolut nicht der Fall. Alles sehr fair, nett und unkompliziert. Ich würde definitiv wieder hier einen Mietwagen buchen.
Man hat uns hier auch nicht versucht extra weitere Versicherungen anzudrehen, sondern es war alles sehr Professionell aber entspannt.

Hired a car for 18 days. Booking process was quick, conformation also quick and friendly. The car was almost new, 3500 km, we had no problems at all with it. A very friendly lady picked us up at the airport and drove us to the office only a minute away. A few minutes later, after some paperwork we were off. After 18 days we brought the car back and the same friendly lady drove us back to the airport. I highly recommend Autorentals Crete.

Hired a seat ibiza for 7 days at heraklion airport for €170. Everything was included such as CDW PAI with no hidded costs. The car was new and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

We rented a car to drive from Heraklion to Chania while on vacation in Crete. They made everything so easy, brought the car right to the hotel and we had absolutely no issues. I would highly recommend this company, they are the best. This was the best car rental experience ever!

I was VERY impressed with Dimitri's Car rental ( autorentals-crete.gr) . Five stars is not enough!!

I have traveled a fair amount among the Greek islands, and I usually rent a car on each island. I have found that the smaller the island, the more friendly and responsible the people who run the rental companies, and that the larger the island, the less personal and less friendly they are. Of course, Crete is the largest island, and Heraklion is a large city, so I did not expect much of a connection with the people running it.

I was very wrong. I found Demetri and his son to be at least as warm and helpful as on the smallest of Greek islands. In fact, it felt like renting from family. One the technical side, the car was well maintained and worked without any problems at all. Except I managed to create a minor problem with my rental car. After a phone consultation, Dimetri arrived quickly – he was an hour away when I phoned him - and … corrected the mistake I had made. But it was done with such warmth and friendliness that the incident turned into a genuinely pleasant encounter, even – however strange this might sound - one of the high points of my time on Crete, as I very much enjoyed Dimitri’s humour and even some story-telling!

If and when I return to Crete, I would not consider renting from anyone else. And I will “testify” to his honesty, integrity and dedication.

We used Auto Rentals last week, we booked 07 days, and I can tell you this was the best rental company I ever encountered.
No hidden costs, they don’t force you to buy extra stuff, the reservation process was also very easy. They even waited and brought us back from the airport, we had an accident during our trip, and they were incredible understanding, supportive during the whole process.
