A great asset to your company !
After discussions with office manager Amelia I ordered a front and rear dash cam with installation. Amelia was great throughout the whole process always replying quickly to any questions and organising delivery and installation around my holiday. The customer service I couldn't praise enough.
Ash the fitter let us know first thing when he was due and he was so professional with the installation very clean and tidy, if the cameras weren't in you wouldn't have known he had been in the car. He even took time out to show me how the screen worked and access to several settings which was great
Overall an excellent job done from start to finish.
I would highly recommend this company

Amazing Service! From start to finish AVR has been so helpful explaining all the different products I was interested in and organising it all to be done. The locksmith was fast and precise. But the Auto Electrical Engineer Karl I could not recommend enough he not only done an amazing job with the instillation and hiding of wires etc, but was extremely helpful with explaining in depth how to use the immobiliser, dash cam and tracker I had fitted. Also gave me some advise on a query I had with my van completely unrelated. I’m so grateful and couldn’t recommend him and AVR enough!!

From placing the order fir rear parking sensors for our Micra to having the fitted was a stress free experience.
Ashlee processed tge order efficiently and kept us updated.
Karl call the day before to advise on the arrival time and was her 10 mins early.

They blend in so much that it likes the car came with them.

I had Apple CarPlay installed in my Range Rover Sport by AVR Mobile Fitters. Unfortunately, from the start the installation was not working correctly. The main issue was that the sat nav voice directions kept coming through Spotify instead of behaving as the original system should.
I contacted AVR several times about this issue. To be fair, they did try to assist and provided me with the manufacturer’s contact details for the CarPlay unit. The manufacturer also arranged a video call and it appeared fixed at the time, but the same issue later reverted and the sat nav audio once again started coming through Spotify.
Because the problem kept returning, I decided to have the Apple CarPlay removed and revert back to the original Range Rover system. Karl, the senior engineer, came out and removed it. After the removal, we immediately checked the original sat nav because the system had just been reconnected and we wanted to make sure everything was working as it should. At that point, the main touchscreen map was no longer functioning correctly, although the directions still appeared in the instrument cluster.
Karl did offer to try disconnecting the battery as a reset to see if that would help. At the time we declined this, as things had already not gone smoothly and we were concerned about causing additional issues with other vehicle settings or systems.
I then contacted Land Rover, who advised that they can fix the issue but it would likely involve around £300 in diagnostics, plus approximately £250 if map updates are required.
I raised this with AVR and asked whether Karl, or preferably another engineer, could return to inspect it. I was told Karl is their senior engineer so it would have to be him, but then it was mentioned there may be another call-out charge. My concern is that if Land Rover later confirms this is something simple related to the removal, such as a cable not reconnected correctly, a setting issue, or a required reset, then AVR should be liable for the cost.
The most disappointing part has been the follow-up. I was told I would be contacted again, but no one has called back.
Overall, while attempts were made to help, this has been a frustrating process involving an initial faulty installation, repeated unresolved issues, removal of the system, the original sat nav no longer working correctly, potential dealer costs, and poor communication afterwards.

To clarify, I do not dispute that a battery reset was mentioned on-site, however the decision not to proceed at that moment was due to the fact that the system had already gone through multiple attempts to resolve ongoing issues with the Apple CarPlay installation and we were concerned about further changes without fully understanding the root cause at that stage.
The key issue remains that the original Apple CarPlay installation resulted in persistent problems, including sat nav audio routing incorrectly through Spotify, which was not permanently resolved despite multiple attempts and assistance from the manufacturer.
Following removal of the system, the original Range Rover sat nav is now not functioning correctly on the main display, although it still shows directions in the instrument cluster. This change occurred directly after the installation and removal work.
At this stage, I am not refusing assistance, however I would prefer that the vehicle is assessed by a different engineer for a fresh and independent diagnosis of the current fault, given the issue has not yet been resolved through previous attempts.
I remain open to a fair resolution at the same time “I’m not refusing to resolve the issue, but I don’t accept that I should be charged for a fault that may have arisen following the installation/removal work. Until the cause is confirmed, I cannot agree to additional costs.”

Right from choosing a product through to the end of the fitting, everyone was pleasant, knowledgeable and spot on time. I was spoken to at the right level and helped to choose exactly what I wanted when I thought I couldn't get it. I have already recommended by word of mouth.

Being a retired auto engineer from motorsport for over 30years I was a slightly apprehensive. Well 1st class service.auto electricians arrived on time with the right kit and experience in the product . Tidy installation, professional and friendly. British companies still can deliver top class service.

I enlisted AVR to deinstall and reinstall a front and rear dashcam from my old car into my new one. The engineer turned up on time and carried out the work to my satisfaction.
Unfortunately a few days later the rear camera came unstuck and was hanging loose. I rang AVR and an engineer turned up in an hour, provided a new adhesive patch and resolved the problem.
All in all a positive experience.

Initially I was a bit skeptical of the overwhelming great reviews, but decided to give it a try anyway as it also offered the most competitive pricing for an immobiliser.
I am very to give it 5 stars, probably 6 if I could. Fast follow and response after purchases, easy to deal with and installation was arranged swiftly. And engineer ,namely Herbie is a rock star, he went above and beyond to help me fixing other issues as well. We need more companies like AVR in UK.
