Highlight of the week!
Attended for 6 months, and Thursdays were the favourite day of the week. Marie is fabulous, engages with all parents/grandparents and of course all the babies. Always happy to see you and is super proud of the development of your child each week. Unfortunately, we have to finish going now my daughter is 9 and a half months old, due to going back to work. Both myself and her will miss Marie's enthusiasm, laughs and new ways to entertain.
Would definitely recommend, and should we be lucky enough to have any more children, we will definitely be booking on again with Marie.
My little girl has been going to baby sensory classes from 11 weeks old, she’s now in her last term before she’s too old to attend anymore! She absolutely loves these classes and gets excited as soon as we arrive at the venue. We have enjoyed every single class, the activities are great, they’re the perfect length for holding babies attention, all based around development, and many can be recreated at home. The effort that goes into the themes and activities is amazing and Sarah, who runs our group, is clearly so passionate as well as caring and funny, and all the babies absolutely love her!! I’m sad our time has come to an end with baby sensory, but I’d recommend to anyone and everyone.
I have been taking my baby girl for a few terms now to baby sensory (Bristol East - Kingswood). Our teacher is Helen and she is so warm, friendly, enthusiastic and more, we could not ask for a better teacher! We look forward to our different themed activity each week and we love all the photo opportunities! It is very breastfeeding friendly and Helen always reminds us to feed our babies whenever and not to wait. My baby loves the class and also loves Helen! The other ladies that attend are also lovely and I have made friends at this group!
My baby and I attended classes at baby sensory dartford gravesend and baby sensory bexley from when he was 5 weeks old to graduation at one year and they were amazing. My baby was always so engaged and the activities really aided his development through his first year. It was a wonderful bonding experience for us and we’re always recommending them to anyone we know with new babies!
Jess from baby sensory devises and westbury is truly one of a kind! She treats everyone with such warming nature and the babies all adore her in class! My little boy went to baby sensory with Jess for 8 months until he graduated, and we loved every second of it! It was always the highlight of our week, so much so Jess even hosted his first birthday party! All our friends and family had so much fun and Jess made it totally individual and unique to my little monkey! Can’t thank her enough for all her hard work!
We attended Baby Sensory Bristol East and can't say enough good things about Abi, Helen and the classes! There was a difference theme each week, they provided amazing sensory stimulation for the babies and were kind, friendly and approachable every week. We will certainly miss going to the group and will be recommending it to all new mums!
Me and my boy really enjoyed this group for a year , Helen was so good different and exciting themes every week , we will definitely miss going to this group
There is literally no better baby class out there. I watched my baby go from a shy little dot to the most confident toddler due to all of the socialisation with other babies and activities that brought her development on massively, but that’s what you get from any class from the baby sensory franchise. What’s special about baby sensory Dudley is Terri. Out of all the baby classes I’ve been to (which is a lot I’m quite the connoisseur) there has been NOBODY who even came close to the energy and commitment that Terri gives to her babies. There’s following the class structure, but then there’s taking it and making it your own, which Terri certainly does. She goes above and beyond to give you as well as your babies such a personal experience. She sets up photo opportunities in her perfect exploratory play area and creates her own extra props to demonstrate to you how you can make things at home on a budget which is brilliant because most of my baby’s favourite toys are home made shakers and the pressure to buy everything new is immense. Terri is always so encouraging of moms talking and getting to know each other in classes which helps the loneliness maternity leave can bring as well as turning the class into a lovely friendly little community. I only stopped going to classes because my baby is too old! Cannot express how much I recommend Terri’s classes, if you only choose to do one class, make it this one.
Baby sensory Dudley with Terri is the most amazing class for babies under 13 months. The journey myself and my daughter have been on the past year at Terri's classes has created memories that will stay with me and Daisy for a life time. These classes really help with bonding and learning about your child in those early hazy scary postpartum days, where the warmth from Terri and her grand supply of props and passion for helping to shape young minds are a much needed support and comfort. I've personally seen Terri disinfect all items and props between classes. Which is fab as my daughter was a small preemie with not the best immune system when she started, baby sensory Dudley cares for your littles and this shows and took a lot of my anxiety about leaving the house away. We're truly going to miss coming to class every week and smiling from ear to ear from the fun. Daisy has come along leaps and bounds in confidence and abilities since starting baby sensory, her end goal was always to be able to crawl to Terri at the front for a cuddle. This was met with joy as she truly invests in all our baby's journeys. If you don't go to baby sensory Dudley you are truly missing out on unlocking your baby's full potential in their first 13 months. 10/10 stars
Baby Sensory South Harrow - these classes with Anita are honestly the highlight of my week. The are SO MUCH FUN, both for the babies and for the parents.
The classes are well structured and Anita guides you through each activity/song like a pro. Anita is so enthusiastic and thats what really makes these classes. She is firm but fair and I love that.
She promotes feeding of any kind for the babies, and I have often breastfed my baby in class, without feeling intimated.
I highly recommend these classes!
Baby Sensory South Harrow - Love Love Love these classes. Anita is brilliant, so engaged and puts so much effort and energy into the classes.
I took my first born as soon as the in-person classes reopened after the pandemic in 2021, my daughter was 4months old. As a first time mum, I didn’t really know how to play or engage with her, but these classes really taught me how to play and stimulate her, which I believe helped with her development. Those sensory scarfs work like magic during playtime. Anita does encourage to push boundaries, like letting the baby hold a rattle, taking socks off to make them feel different objects.
I’m back again with my second born and I love these classes, more so my little one loves them.
The class is very well structured, with opportunities to mingle with parents in the break time. My second one is exclusively BF, and I’ve had no issues feeding her or changing any wet nappies if I’ve needed to. Anita is also very accommodating and flexible when it comes to attending a different class on occasion (provided she has the space), she’s also very responsive when I send her messages on the instagram page.
She can be firm but fair when it comes to babies mouthing items. She does request nicely for parents not to let babies put things in their mouths, and as a parent I totally understand and appreciate why. 1. Safety of the baby, and two 2, hygiene - she’s responsible for making sure everyone stays safe in her class, I certainly wouldn’t want my baby to put something in her mouth that another baby did and then get unwell, we are ultimately all responsible not to pass germs on to babies that are soooo small, you have newborns attending these classes. So I’m very greatful that she does her best to make sure babies don’t pass things onto each other. Some would say taste is a sense and it’s a sensory class.. but given all these real things going around like RSV, do you really want to risk it. Move the stuff away from the baby if they have a tendency to mouth, or bring something of their own from home to put in their mouth. It reassures me every time I attend a class, the the props are all clean.
I would highly recommend these classes, especially hers if you’re in the area.
Baby Sensory South Harrrow - Anita class I have been attending since 2017 with all my children. Her extra special classes Pumpkin Party, Diwali, Xmas are open to parents who don’t attend her usually weekly classes and are always booked up. Anita allows mothers to breast feed openly if mothers are comfortable, lets crawlers be crawlers. Her safety rules are very good as it’s explaining to parents that materials, objects toys can be played with but not for babies to lick or chew on (this is so important as a baby can choke on sticks, feathers etc…) safety always comes 1st. Anita has never been negative to any parents. Her parties allow families to bring older siblings which again she mentions to they should be seated at all times and will mention it to parenting older ones are doing something they are not supposed to (trust me my children have ants in their pants).
I highly recommend this class or event the parties. Please don’t read the I negative reviews that have been posted recently as it’s totally untrue.
South Harrow: The presentation is lovely, love the photo opportunities and the songs were cute, but the expectations of babies to not put anything in their mouths is completely unrealistic and telling mums they can’t breastfeed is ILLEGAL and frankly appalling. Even though I tried to keep things out of her mouth we still got told off twice in class as though my 10mo baby was being naughty so this was very stressful. It is a SENSORY class, their mouths are their biggest sensory at this age!! I also find it incredibly concerning that a mum was told off for breastfeeding in class. That’s illegal in the U.K. for one, we have a right to feed our child, and in a BABY class of all places!

I started attending these sessions when my daughter was 6 weeks old. Today was her graduation day at 13 months old and we are so sad for this to have ended. This was so much fun with different themes each week. Sharon is so much fun and is so knowledgeable. We will miss you!
I really enjoy this class with my little one… the lady that runs it -Vicki is really nice, professional and has amazing energy! No idea how she picks up every baby’s name and makes an effort to have a little interaction with them each! Really impressed.. No class has been the same each week and I actually find it more fun than my baby lol…good value for money to I’m really happy I chose this class to do
Amazing classes. Our baby loves it enough thou sometimes tired still wants to participate. Baby is stimulated in fun ways (lights, songs, other babies, toys) & then super tired xD
Loved this baby sensory class, Stephanie is lovely she immediately makes you feel welcome. I was a bit nervous about joining a class like this but I’m so glad I did the songs/activities/props my son just loved them he always had so much fun, he loved Stephanie. He has now graduated due to us moving but we miss sensory class and Stephanie.
Stephanie is great and so passionate you can tell in every class she loves what she does and always makes sure all the babies have fun whilst learning can’t rate the class enough it’s great. Would highly recommend 🙂
Amazing sensory classes ran by Terri Manuel in netherton and brielley hill. My baby loved it and I did too. Well worth the money. So much fun. I learned lots from it and it gave me some great ideas for playing at home with my baby. I can’t recommend it enough!!
I’d highly recommend Baby Sensory with Helen & Abi to any parent, hands down the best baby class I’ve attended with my little one.
For the year we’ve been going, there’s never been a duplicate theme making it fun and exciting week on week (for my daughter and myself)! I love seeing the efforts Helen goes to with props and decorations!
The inclusion of signing and how each activity is created in line with child development research means you leave feeling they (and often you) have learnt something. Many of my little one’s development firsts happened during classes, a safe and encouraging environment. As a new mum it also gave me an idea of what my little one should be capable of learning/doing, along with activities to replicate together at home.
If you only attend one class - make it this one!
Absolutely loved our first term at Baby Sensory Bristol East! So engaging, creative, interactive and fun for the little ones. The songs are fab and contagious, you’ll find yourself singing them during the week! My little girl loved it! Would 100% recommend.
