I can't provide feedback on the actual cupcakes yet. But I will say their operations and customer service are atrocious. I scheduled an order to be delivered to my daughter at college on her birthday. Baked by Melissa totally ignored my scheduled delivery date and sent them a week early. I specifically chose the day before my daughter's birthday for delivery so she would feel special even though she's far from home. Getting your birthday cupcakes a week early just doesn't hit right. And I reached out to their customer service via email, chat and phone for 4 consecutive days. No response at all.

The website refers to these as mini cupcakes. I've bought mini cupcakes at the store. These are a third of the size. These are cupcake bites, not mini cupcakes. I could have bought 50 full size cupcakes from a cupcakes store for the same price. I had these shipped. Website does not give idea of true size. Should have researched reviews before purchase.

I wish i had checked reviews before ordering . I ordered cupcakes to be delivered for an event today and NOTHING. Tried calling and left a message for a call back- NOTHING . Sent an email and got an automated response that I should get a reply in 48 hrs- which does not really help me. I imagined that they were better than this. Will not order again. I can understand a delay but if you cannot even respond to the phone call- that is a problem!

I placed an order on October 17th for 200 cupcakes. I selected the "pick a date" option, as I have done in the past, and noticed that there was no calendar available for me to select the date. I contacted customer service to make these changes, no response. I then received an email on October 20th stating that my cupcakes were on the way. I immediately contacted customer service, left several messages, stayed on the line and was still forced to hang up because the que automatlcally placed me to get a call back. I also attempted to contact a live agent via the website and her only advice was to freeze the 200 cupcakes. There was no attempt to stop the delivery, which had not been picked up by the courier at the time of my outreach. It's unfortunate that the customer service is so poor and I do not intend on purchasing from them again. Not that it matters because they clearly do not value their customers.

I ordered almost $200 worth of cupcakes for a celebratory event at our office. I ordered the cupcakes to be scheduled and on the day of "delivery", they never showed up and still today over a month, I still have yet to receive a refund. No responses to calls, live chats, nor any communication from them regarding a refund since they didn't fulfill my order. Just the name of BAKED BY MELISSA makes me cringe regardless of how good people say they are.

I would give zero stars to Baked By Melissa. I ordered a scheduled delivery for my daughter's 18th birthday and they delivered it late and not on her birthday. What is the point in paying for shipping and selecting scheduled delivery? I am super disappointed in them.

Please DO NOT order from Baked by Melissa. Please do not make that mistake.

the cupcakes were sent to the wrong town, i contacted the company by phone, live chat, emails to this date i have not heard from the company. the cupcakes were delivered on 9/9/25 to a wrong address at my expense. this company should be closed down no customer support what so ever. very disappointed in this company. they say the ship nationwide not true the cupcakes were to go to PA, I called the delivery service I was told they do not go to PA. this company has an F rating on BBB.

Contacted 8/15/25 after order came late. Gel packs like hot water bottles. Asked if still edible. 8/21/25 still no reply. I have no idea if cupcakes taste good. Delivery and customer service are terrible.

Purchased a 25 pack of Birthday cupcakes for my wife with an order of macaroons added on. What I received was the macaroons in a box that said happy birthday. No cupcakes to speak of. Customer support as others have said is non existent. I spent $81 on 25 tiny macaroons in a box that says happy birthday. I was ripped off and this site is a scam. Stay away.

I placed 2 Father’s Day orders ($112) to be delivered 6/13 by 6PM, neither order showed up. I contacted support on Saturday morning to locate the order and was sent to voicemail. I emailed to locate the order and was told I’d receive a response in 48 hours. I attempted to login to my account and it was disabled by the company preventing me from even accessing order numbers. It has now been 4 days, and counting, of calling and emailing without any response. The orders were received 72 hours after the paid for delivery date and were compromised for safety and edibility as they had been sitting in an unknown location for 3 days.

I have called, emailed, used the chat box, and even reached out on instagram with 0 response or action. I had to resort to disputing the charges with my bank as this company refuses to allow any form of contact.

Cupcakes never arrived !! Customer Service acted like it happens all the time ...absolutely horrible Customer Service. I feel like after Melissa made it big she just doesn't care about customer satisfaction...first time ordering and never ordering again

I can't speak of the product because I was unable to resolve a delivery issue. The product was not delivered. I have tried to reach Customer Happiness though several channels and I have got no resolution.
I would suggest you not try shipping with them as there are many reviews describing shipping issues. They have no ability to address shipping issues. That would require Customer Service to answer their phone (which they don't do) or answer emails (which is also not helpful). The bot only directs you to an email form and doesn't even list the hours available.
Try other sites. This company does not have customer service and they can't resolve issues.

I never need to leave negative reviews, but I am so disappointed in this company. I ordered $300 worth of cupcakes from them to be delivered for a big birthday party. They never arrived, I was unable to get help from anyone in the company for support. The FedEx tracking was never updated, a representative said they would return my call which they never did, emails were left unanswered. This is completely unacceptable to me and very disappointing. I had done my due diligence before to check out their ratings and reviews so I’m sure this is unusual for them, but still very disappointing for me and I have no cupcakes for the party! I think this could have been resolved if they would’ve gotten back to me and I could have gotten something else in time for the party.

I ordered for a friend to have for her mother’s wake/funeral that I could not attend. Order should have arrived the day before. When I saw the friend a week later and asked if she received the cupcakes she said no. I called the company which basically tells you to email them. I emailed them and 48 hours later still no response. I emailed again stating my disappointment. They finally responded they could refund or reship the order. The order was never shipped in the first place! There was no offer to even at the least waive the shipping fee I paid. So basically I look like a crap friend, and they’ve stolen my money by never shipping the cupcakes. I would never in a million years order from them again. And I also ordered with 6 other people - so they’ve lost a lot of potential business because we will all make it known they are completely unreliable.

Received these as a gift, shipping was delayed yet per their website should be safe to consume considering the timing. Overpriced cupcakes the size of a piece of popcorn that ultimately made me extremely sick. I have an iron stomach and these did me in. Full of artificial ingredients, especially dyes and colorings. Would not recommend, would never touch one again. Ruined a birthday weekend running to the bathroom!!

Delivered on time, real time tracking which I love! Sent to my daughter in NC for her bday, she said they are delicious!! Would definitely recommend.

I placed a large order of cupcakes as a surprise for my son and daughter-in-law’s belated family wedding celebration. The order was delivered to my sister’s home as planned on 7/16. But then just an hour or so later her house was struck by tornado-force winds and rain bringing 4 huge trees down on her roof! Thank god she wasn’t home. The beautiful pink box of cupcakes was blown away and damaged. The next day I reached out to Baked by Melissa via chat on their website and they immediately offered to help by sending a fresh new, replacement batch shipping to my niece’s home instead. My sister is fine thankfully and we managed to still have our small celebration a few days later where we all enjoyed the delicious cupcakes. Thanks for understanding and doing the right thing!

Today I had an experience online tracking my order that I placed on 7/15/2024. My nephews Birthday was this week and I wanted to surprise him. He has been doing very well in school and he plays a variety of different sports. Through his parents I heard that he has been working hard at home and school. When I heard that me being his favorite Auntee, I wanted to do something nice for him and reward him with a box of these yummy cupcakes. I have ordered them before for only family members Birthdays and they have loved them.
I did reach out to customer service online and Ms. Rosalie was the young lady who replied to help solve my issue. By contacting them online it turned out to be positive experience. They did reply in less than 24 hours which was a plus in my book. And they handled the matter quickly and smoothly. Options were suggested and I loved that about them. My nephew will enjoy this gift even more so once I explain to him what the delay was. These girls are my ROCKSTARS!! I highly recommend these cupcakes. My favorite is ALL OF THEM!!!!
I really enjoyed the mint cupcakes and the peanut butter and jelly ones. What's nice about these mini bite size cupcakes you can order for any event. Thank you for all you do to keep us SMILING!!!!

We placed an order on Monday for a Thursday delivery as a surprise for my sister-in-law's birthday. Delivery was to be made by a courier between 5-7 pm. Delivery was never made and we received no notification. Friday after make several calls, which went directly to voicemail and instructs you to email them. After reaching out by email we finally received a response. Driver couldn't reach my sister-in-law so left with gift. Requested delivery be made Friday afternoon. Had to inform my sister-in-law of delivery and ruin the surprise. She waited all day for the delivery and it was finally made at 8:16 pm! We wanted to support a local NY business and this the thanks we got!
Customer Service is HORRIBLE and we will never use them again!!
