Really lovely cake and decorated superbly. They changed my delivery date with no problem at all when I asked them. Will pass on details to friend who wants a christening cake.

Confidence inspiring Cakes
I have never been let down by this firm. Cakes are nice - they look better in reality especially with the use of photos. They taste very nice as well and keep fresh. Delivery is reliable and the packing adequate. I have used Bakerdays several times and never been disappointed. The last cake was a birthday cake for my son. Everyone said it was brilliant with his picture on it and also an acoustic guitar in the icing. I saw people coming back for more pieces

The cake looked nicely decorated, just what I expected. Unfortunately, the cake was very disappointing and I really can't believe all the rave reviews about this company's cakes. It was dry, bland , hardly any filling that was discernable and inedible in my opinion ! Everyone at the birthday gathering were of the same opinion
Worse than a cheap supermarket cake. I can't believe how they get away with it ! This is not a freshly hand made cake, this is cake mix formula widely used in mass production in my opinion
Feel let down but also relieved that I have the opportunity to say what I think about the ' product' ! So, I appreciate that

Was a little disappointed on how it look it was a bit squished from delivery although it was very well packed it did tasted lovely, size was good, just think it looked not great if they master the appearance then it be. It’s was just a bit blurry and dull in colour. If you brighten and sharpen it would be brilliant.

Lovely looking cakes that taste delicious
Great range of cakes - style, size, type of sponge. Very easy to search and place the order on line.
Very quick delivery times.
Excellent packaging, so cakes remain intact and fresh.
Delicious cake. Ours arrived the day before we used it. We eat it for 3 days after and it was still fresh.
This is my 4th order from Bakerdays and cannot fault them.

First time ordering and was quite…
First time ordering and was quite disappointed. The cake arrived on time which is the only positive thing I can say.
Firstly , the cake was not as deep as I thought it was going to be. Which is a shame.
Secondly , there was not much jam or buttercream in the middle and we found the cake dry. Definitely not fresh as it should have been . It had probably been sat in the warehouse of the delivery company all weekend.
Lastly, the cake could have been packaged better. The cake was not on the board properly when opened, there was a slight raise on one side of cake where it’s probably been on its side at some point and some of the icing was a little cracked.
Overall , I am disappointed as I ordered the cake for my son’s first birthday, I could have just brought one from a supermarket and saved myself money with how it tasted. Shame as the rest of the cake will end up in the bin.

I’m surprised this company is still trading
I placed an order for a Black Forest Bento Cake and a Victoria Sponge Bento cake total cost £37.80. (including discount)
The only positive I can say is the cakes arrived on time and were well packaged 5*
That’s when the disappointment started
The cakes were smaller than described. The decoration was awful. Nothing like the photographs on the website. No care taken
There was so much more cream compared to cake
My husband said the Black Forest cake tasted like cheap children’s cake and felt it was inedible. The Victoria sponge was overly sweet. The cake itself was very dry. Absolutely horrid
Cheap cakes sold at high end prices

Cake arrived a day late...missed the party
Cake arrived a day late, so completely missed our daughter's party. It arrived the following day, but after being thrown around and in the courier van for two days, it was badly damaged as well as the cream melted. We complained and we're offered a replacement cake, but our daughter went on holiday the next day and so little point in having another cake. Having to raise dispute with my bank, as a week on and they are ignoring calls and e mails. I will go back to my usual online cake company, who don't offer photo cakes, but are superb. I have just received an e mail saying that I will be reimbursed...will post again after I receive payment. Such a shame that I was not told this straight away,as the review would have highlighted great customer service. In fairness the problem rested with the courier company, but bakerdays need to claim back from them and be on their customers side. The cake would have looked and toasted ok if it was not so badly handled

First Class Customer Service
The first cake I ordered for a 75th Birthday arrived damaged. Although very well packaged I wonder just how careful the delivery company are when receiving a package that has ‘handle with care’ on it. I was so very disappointed but Marielle contacted me and arranged to have another cake delivered today. Arrived promptly and I am so pleased. Cake arrived in perfect condition and is so pretty. Can’t wait for my friend to see it tomorrow at her special afternoon tea. Fantastic customer service and this is obviously a company that takes pride in the goods they supply. Very impressed. I order my cake well in advance, sometimes a month ahead, and it is always delivered on time.
And the cakes are ABSOLUTELY delicious!! Especially the chocolate flavoured one with chocolate chips!!

Ordered a cake for 60th wedding anniversary. The process was extremely easy, I could personalise the cake easily. It was delivered exactly when expected. The cake was so light and iced beautifully. I would highly recommend Bakerdays.
