Flooring is excellent quality, the delivery guy was professional and friendly, i dont really have any complaints but always leave a star as room for improvement when I purchase again which im sure I will be.

Very disappointing experience. I would not buy from this company again.

We bought bamboo flooring from The Bamboo Flooring Company for over £1,000. The floor was sold with a 25-year structural warranty. After installation, gaps started appearing around the perimeter of the room. The company inspected it and gave us £200 compensation and filler, which in my view speaks for itself — there was clearly a genuine issue.

We now have a much worse problem: the flooring is lifting/moving underfoot in multiple places. It is not just cosmetic; parts of the floor press down when walked on and lift back up afterwards.

When I raised this under the warranty and Consumer Rights Act 2015, the company refused to offer any refund and blamed the installation. Their position is that the product is not faulty because their appointed “independent” flooring inspector says so. They say the same thing repeatedly: the flooring has been sold worldwide, they have sold thousands of square metres, and therefore the product cannot be faulty.

I fully expect the company to reply to this review saying I did not follow the instructions, that an independent expert inspected it, and that the fault is mine. That is exactly the point. In my experience, once there is a problem, they rely on their inspector and blame the customer/installer rather than taking proper responsibility.

The instructions did not clearly state some of the points now being used against me, yet the company is relying on them to reject the claim completely. A 25-year warranty means very little if, when something goes wrong, the answer is simply “installation fault” and no refund.

Based on my experience, I would strongly warn others to think carefully before buying.

This is the third purchase of bamboo flooring and the reason is because if the flooring or in this case skirting becomes subject to any damp it does not like it at all.
We live in an old Georgian house and so can expect a certain level of damp despite various treatments.
I contacted the bamboo flooring company to explain my issue and was told basically to get the damp sorted first! I bought more skirting and finished the phone call feeling like I had been dismissed!

The quality of the product is excellent, which made installing the flooring much easier. I am withholding the fifth star because more precise and detailed instructions—both before purchase and during installation—would be helpful, as well as suggestions regarding the tools needed for cutting.

Very qyick response to my sample request. They arrived the next day and were well packaged with further information.

Bamboo flooring are excellent but sell let down by EVRI delivery company. The item had to be resent using Dpd. Both delivery companies were planned for next day rapid delivery by Bamboo brilliant service

As a past customer I would say things are much the same. Quality products that are built to last. If I had one very small complaint it would be that it took a day or two longer to be delivered than previous orders.

Always order our floor cleaner from you and receive it promptly.

The information on the progress of the order was timely and accurate. Arrived on time and with the one hour advance notice. Excellent courier with a very friendly and helpful driver.

I've only order half a dozen samples and haven't decided which ones to order, but if the box of samples and the speed at which they were delivered is an indication of the service and quality, then I'm very impressed. All neatly packed with plenty of info on each!

The flooring looks exceptional and was delivered in quick time. I contacted customer services a few times and they were very helpful with product advice and delivery information. I am yet to lay it but so far so good.
Update September 2026
I fitted the floor and all went ok, I had to order more skirting board and when it came it was a completely different colour. I get that it’s a natural product but this is a completely different colour and was much darker. This looks a mess against the rest of the floor and skirting.

I emailed customer service (Neil Ellis) and was pretty dismissive and was not helpful at all. He told me it was a new batch and there is nothing he could do.
You would expect a warning when ordering but there is nothing.
So after spending over £180 on skirting I am now left with the option of taking it all off and starting again or leaving it looking a mess but I really do not want to have to deal with company again. So beware when you order and don’t expect any after sales help.
