Have visited the outlet store twice over the last 2 weeks look for a dinning table and chairs. The staff couldn't be more helpful. On our second visit we found just what we were looking for and Ian had the patience of a saint whilst we went through several different configurations. He also helped us moving chairs around a million times and even though we finally bought it 15mins before the shop closed he still said he would get everything ready for collection for us before he left.

We took a trip this morning to Barker and stone house we arrived at 9.45am the door was open so went in we were greeted by a sales representative who told us that they don’t open until 10am . He said I’m sorry but the light don’t go on until 10am but please look around never told us to leave . The store is massive we looked about for an hour then went for a tea and coffee in the cafe on the second floor. We spent another hour looking for the sofa and chairs we both liked and bought it . We were not hassled in any way just left to our own decisions I went looking for the sales lady her name Karen King who came and sorted out our purchase. 5 star service.

We went to the Middlesbrough store today the staff in there were very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help out, we purchased a dining table and console table… they were willing to move various chairs from around the store to the table we were looking at without it being a problem. Would highly recommend a visit as the staff made us feel like valued customers.

We were looking for an upholstered bench seat for our new dining area. So many we looked at in other retailers were high priced, or only available on order, so we thought to visit Barker & Stonehouses' Outlet in Middlesborough. We were surprised at the selection on offer & found a perfect match for our needs at a great price! The sales staff were on-hand, but left us alone to browse & measure. On purchase the next day the sales member - (Anthony) was friendly & efficient... even carrying the box to the car. Great service from these guys.. Thank You!

A great find! The staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful especially Lesley and Anthony who worked as a team. They were on hand for questions etc but also gave you the space to browse. In the main B&S stores you can feel a bit "preyed upon" but they got the balance right here., Amazing furniture at great prices. Plan to return to rekit my house out!

Brilliant service from Ian from start to finish. We visited the outlet store numerous occasions on the lookout for a leather chesterfield. We have finally managed to purchase one with the help Ian. He couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be back.

Once again, an excellent service: this time from sales representative Anthony Ryder and the always reliable delivery team from the Blandon warehouse, Kev and John. The furniture arrived on time, expertly packaged and in excellent condition and were placed in my room of choice with the packaging taken away. A completely stress-free transaction altogether.

The staff in the outlet were friendly and helpful. Our delivery time was changed, by us, with no problem. The drivers brought our furniture and efficiently placed and put it up in the house. Thanks Dave A and Michael H!

We had purchased a egg chair recently and when speaking to Mike mentioned we were looking for 2 brown Rivington stools. He pointed out that there was 2 different heights something I was unaware of and because of this you did not have in what we needed at this time. He took our details and said if they came in he would call. Less than 3 weeks laster Mike rang to say they had some in stock and would hold for me. The service received was Fantastic from Mike (and Ian) and not something you get a lot of these days. Without a doubt we will return.

My daughter spoke to Tom over the phone about a kitchen seat that she had seen on the website. He was very helpful by suggesting various options that she could go into the store to view. Anthony assisted in store the following day and arranged for the seating she chose to be collected. I also bought two sets of drawers that Ian arranged to be collected from the Blaydon warehouse. Also thanks to T and Ronnie at Blaydon who ensured that the furniture was loaded safely. All staff involved were very friendly, helpful and professional throughout the whole process demonstrating effective communication between each other.
