Abby Meadow outdoor pool - a fabulous hidden gem
I had such a super swim on Friday morning at 8am at Abby Meadow open air pool in Abingdon.
As I don’t live locally and hadn’t been to this pool before I wanted to leave a review as my all round review is ‘excellent’
The staff on reception spoke clearly and were courteous while explaining where the changing rooms were, lockers etc.
This hidden gem needs highlighting as the experience of swimming outdoors cannot be emphasised enough especially as the pool is not enclosed as many outdoor pools are, plus being able to see the River Thames while swimming is an added bonus!
The water was crystal clear and clean and the ropes tight so no waves which made swimming so easy and fast.
The showers were lovely and warm and super fast and the cubicles and toilets clean.
I will definitely be visiting again next summer when I have a day off and will do so as regularly as I can.
Thank you to the whole team.
