Very bad experience with the swim…
Very bad experience with the swim school, they dont even have anoption to change the direct debit payment date. Why this simple flexiblity is not available ?

We are sorry this is not an option.
When joining you are given the choice to pick your direct debit date, this agreement is then set with your bank and is not changeable. If you require further assistance please email our customer service team at customerservices@gll.org.

Gyms good but not £50 good which you…
Gyms good but not £50 good which you then have to put another £50 on parking on top of that. Mosts gyms either have a free parking or try to negotiate with the car park company.. apparently Better couldnt even be bothered to even try according to the staff on the front desk... very disappointing

Car parking is not a benefit of any membership we offer although some centres may offer discounted parking for members.
One of our core values is 'Respecting The Planet' and as part of this we encourage our customers to not drive where possible and look at walking or using public transport to be as green as possible.

Initial Issue sorting out over charging
I found the company very difficult to deal with initially. Because their system appears to only allow one email for contact purposes. I have membership in place for my grandson. I needed access to the account as I am the payer, and there was an issue of overcharging.
All sorted now, eventually.

Swimming lessons
The swimming lessons are really well run. My daughter really enjoys them. It’s a nice shallow pool with warm water and good changing facilities, with space for pushchairs if needed.

From the reception very friendly staff. Clean place especially toilet and changing area. Clean water staff around pool are very professional instructors for swimming are very professional and friendly to kids

Great first lesson
Julie was Very welcoming on our first swimming lesson. Frankie loved it and didnt want to get out of the pool.

Refuse to refund credit
I had a freeze on my account due to a medical issue, I wanted to then close the account and was advised that this cannot be done until after the freeze is lifted, I waited for the freeze to be lifted then was told I can’t have any of my credit back as I did not give them 20 days notice of closing my account. How can I give 20 days notice if I can’t make changes until my freeze is lifted?? Money greedy and want to keep £30. Sorry state of affairs if they want to steal £30 off of their customers!

Birthday Pool party
Arranged a Birthday pool party for my Daughter in one of your centres- The experience was smooth and enriching till we were not able to wrap up in time and was delayed by 10 mins.
Staffs were nice but not accommodating, since we were given only 45 mins for the room after pool session, we had to hurry all the way through and at the end literally driven out along with the guests which was memorable in a wrong way!
Request to extend the room time slightly (1 hour is a more logical way of counting and planning) so that things can be arranged better. I dont mind paying slightly more for the additional time if that makes it smoother.

Tried the health suite first.
Started with the health suite. Clean and tidy changing rooms and good showers. Jacuzzi, sauna very good steam room could be a little more steamy but really enjoyed my first visit. Gym next.
