Good sized building
Good sized building, fairly modern . Large swimming pool with good temperature. Showers were somewhat chilly .

Nice clean facilities
Nice clean facilities, however I do miss the days where there were staff at the reception desk. I had trouble with the self scan and there was no one around to ask for help. This has happened multiple times.

The Carterton gym is very clean and tidy, the equipment is first class as well, parking is not a problem either..

Generally a very good experience. However I’ve knocked a star off because of the non existent monitoring of disabled parking spaces. Every time I try to park they are full - not a problem if people just get there first. That’s the way it goes. BUT most of the people parked there do not display a parking permit and are just taking spaces through being lazy and inconsiderate.
If the staff popped out every 30-60mins and left a prewritten note letting the car owner know that would have an impact.

Having done the pulmonary rehab course…
Having done the pulmonary rehab course I’m now just completing the Be Active Gyn course. The instructors are great and really look after you. I will keep it ip now. Carterton and Witney are both very friend and have a great mix of people. It’s not all skinny people in Lycra. So don’t be daunted give it a try.

I've only recently joined
I've only recently joined, being 62 i need to keep a reasonable fitness and my center has everything that I need for that. Also friendly staff which is nice and not too many meat heads, just normal people attend.
