Would Recommend
The manager, Tom, was lovely when we first started showed us round and was just genuinely welcoming. All the other staff can’t fault always very friendly. A huge range of gym equipment, you can’t fault that if a machine is broken you best believe it’s fixed ASAP. My only criticism (very small) is the music, needs a larger range playing throughout the gym.

The steam room is fulling apart and…
The steam room is fulling apart and isn't very clean. It has not been maintained very well at all. The one room also isn't working at all.
None of the team has came to me knowing I've not been to the gym in years to ask if I need any support or anything.
The staff was sitting around on the sofas tho when asked for some help the lovely lady helped and advised me.
I have not been shown how to use any of the equipment.
Would I say worth my money not really.
I do think I may start looking for a new gym and only been at better gym not even a month yet.
Very disappointing.

I have only recently joined Better Gym…
I have only recently joined Better Gym and I would like to say that I have been pleasantly surprised, I had been wanting to join for a few months and wish I had done sooner. Before I joined I went in to look around and spoke to Ryan who was very welcoming and informative and this led to me joining the gym. It is very spacious and is over two floors, they also have a good sized sauna and steam room, I previously went to JD Gym and although the gym in itself is fantastic the size of the sauna let it down. The instructors at Better Gym are really very good, and all very pleasant. The majority of the time there is someone present at front desk which is nice as they greet you nicely and have been very helpful. Helen one of the instructors is also very friendly and helpful, lovely lady.
Finally the membership cost is fantastic as they do offer concessions for different categories such as over 60's, NHS workers, Teachers, etc.. and all the facilities are included (fitness classes, sauna, steam).
So to summarise I would rate and recommend this gym very highly.

Lovely gym
Lovely gym . Love the small things you don't get in other gyms like free squash and tea. Lots of space.
The door is annoying I can't ever get in and then I get fined for not joining class when I attended. Apart from that no complaints

I love this gym, it’s affordable and the staff are great. I use the one in Walsall wood & would recommend it to anyone.

Staff member need at learn how to speak to people, (Maxine) you would think being custmoner facing would know how to address people. Shocking behaviour, and add to that low quality equipment leaves me revoking my membership after only one month. 3 memberships lost just by one member of staff talking to someone like a piece of rubbish. Stay well clear.

Joined as needed to get fitter after a health scare
